Drucker & Falk review: Told not to turn off Duke Energy Progress when moving out

On April 24, 2025, I received a letter from Duke Energy Progress stating the power had never been turned off at Lynnwood Park Apartments, 6208 N. Hills Dr. Apartment L. and I had an outstanding balance of $157.74. I contacted Tursha, the property manager, who said the power was never turned off and to call Duke Energy Progress to turn the power off and to close the account. I followed those instructions and asked Tursha for a refund of $157.74 since I was told when I signed moved out documents I did not need to do anything else, that all utilities would be turned off by Lynnwood Park Apartments. On May 15, 2025, I was told by Tursha that I would receive a check for $157.74 After numerous calls to employees at both the apartment and corporate offices, I still have not received a check for $157.74. I was told on May 29/2026 by Carly of the corporate office that Drucker and Falk had changed their mind and they would not refund the $157.74.

I would like your assistance in recovering $157.74 that I was promised.,
