As far as we can tell, she is not involved in any of Mia's abusive online behavior or alleged scams. On August 8th, 2011, I had the misfortune of having Mia Lancaster place a winning bid on one of my auctions. What resulted was a complete nightmare. I will break the facts of our transaction down point by point and lie by lie. Please read this and refuse to do any business with Dr.Mia52 on ebay, Mia Lancaster, or her front group Placefor Cats, Inc.
August 10th, 2011, We shipped Mia Lancaster's order less than 48 hours after the close of the auction. The USPS delivery confirmation number was 9102128882300822329738. You can verify as we go.
Also on August 10th, 2011, Mia was sent an email informing her that her order was delivered and giving her the delivery confirmation number.
Despite receiving a delivery confirmation number, Mia sends the following email while we were on vacation on August 19th, 2011:
"Hi,
I'd like to know how my magazine was shipped. I have already received at least a dozen items, including books and magazines that I purchased AFTER I purchased this magazine from you. However the tracking number entered for your magazine does not even show that it was received yet by the post office. You could have just popped it into a large manila envelope and sent it with $1.88 stamps for up to 6 ounces and it would have arrived within 3 days. You are just across the bridge in Brooklyn but it seems it's coming Slow Boat From China. For $5 shipping, this should have been received already. Any information would be appreciated."
This should have been my first clue that she was trouble. The auction clearly stipulated that she was paying for USPS media mail shipping AND she had already received the delivery confirmation numbers to confirm this. Why on earth would she ask clearly obvious questions? The shipping price was also firmly agreed upon. Why is she making an issue after the fact? Also, she makes the assumption that a magazine that weighs almost 2 lbs only weighed 6 ounces and then used that ignorant fact to try to make me out to be a bad seller (this woman's mind is quite remarkably!)
But, it doesn't stop there. The lies start now:
Later that day (on the 19th of August, 2011), she also opens a buyer protection case against me on ebay DESPITE having already received confirmation of shipment and a delivery confirmation number. She LIES and says she emailed "THREE TIMES" and I wouldn't respond. Total lies. She had only just sent a first email inquiring about a package we already told her shipped and she had the delivery confirmation number proving it.
Upon returning from my vacation on August 22nd, 2011, I send the following email:
"Your order shipped out USPS media mail and I attached the delivery confirmation number from the date your order shipped. This is the first time I'm hearing from you that you are having a problem with your order and I already have a case opened against me at ebay. If the magazine doesn't arrive this week I will be happy to escalate this for you. If you email me I will make sure you are taken care of."
to which Mia fires back immediately on the same day with an angry email full of assumptions, lies, and faulty conclusions (notice she never tries to be reconciliatory or nice):
"You are responding to my email below 4 days after I sent it and yet seem to think I acted rashly in filing with eBay! That was my 3rd email to you that, until now, went unanswered. Your failure to respond combined with no item from you ever arriving in my mailbox further combined with the fact that the customary USPS tracking display NOT showing that the parcel actually was RECEIVED by the post office all, of course, resulted in my lodging a case! Are you kidding? If the post office actually received the envelope from you, the tracking information would reflect date of receipt but there is no display of receipt by USPS.
Further, I don't understand how you can take so long to get one magazine across the bridge to me. It's annoying since it would have cost significantly less than the $5 postage you charged to send it by First Class mail. Three weeks is TOO long to wait for a simple item from 3 miles away."
It was only 3 days Mia (but I digress). Here is my reply on August 23rd where I attempt to address all the concerns Mia raises in a precise and professional manner:
"You are making a number of assumptions that are completely off based. First of all, the number is a delivery confirmation number (not a tracking number). Delivery confirmation numbers usually only scan AT DELIVERY. Sometimes they do scan along the way. But, that is not a guarantee. I can show many shipments if you would like where the item ONLY scans at delivery. Secondly, I recently moved across country so I'm shipping from the West Coast. That is why it is taking a little longer than normal. Thirdly, there is no possible way to ship this magazine for $1.88. Where are you getting this number from? You also don't include the cost of packing items or labor in there. These are all normal business expenses and we charge rock bottom prices at that. I understand if you were anxious to receive this fast but filing a dispute within 10 days is pretty extreme. Especially when you have up to 45 days to do so. That is my point. Also, the delivery confirmation number was put on your order the day the item shipped so I felt that provided you with a quick update on your order. Definitely
faster than 24 hours."
As you can see, I professionally address all her points and try to bring the transaction back to a positive note while expressing my concerns and asking for some simple understanding. Here is the response I get on the 23rd of August from Mia and now the lies and crazy rhetoric from Mia start to come out:
"What you are telling me is that your location listed on eBay is false. I chose your listing above others that listed the same item because I noted that you are in Astoria, NY. I always try to favor fellow New Yorkers. Now you tell me your location appears to be false. That certainly is not my fault!
Secondly, that I have 45 days to file a claim is a ludicrous reason for me actually to WAIT 45 days to do so. What? I should wait 6 weeks for an item and then hurry up and file at the last minute? I want to do? Are you kidding? I do dozens of transactions a week on several sites. I waited the appropriate time and then combined with your earlier failures to email me back, I filed as is my right.
The figure of $1.88 was suggested in light of your own apparently FALSE information that you would mail the item FROM ACROSS THE 59TH STREET BRIDGE, from Astoria to Manhattan - less than 3 miles! The $1.88 was based on 6 ounces although the magazine might well weigh less. If your location information had been correct and I had been informed your location is the West Coast, I would have purchased the magazine from another New York dealer. Further, I did not know there was so much labor involved in putting the magazine into a manila envelope so I do not know what packing materials you are referring to, but if the magazine ever arrives, I'm sure I'll find out.
In any event, the magazine has NOT arrived and I note there still is no information on USPS tracking."
Mia's List of Lies:
#1 She says she wouldn't have bid on my item if I wasn't in New York. Then, at the time of this email, I looked at her most recent 25 feedbacks and only 1 ... count it 1 transaction was from New York and 3 were from my state! Clear lie. She just wanted to find something to ### about.
#2 She filed with Paypal because I failed to respond to her previous emails (the three phantom emails she lied about sending). Great circular logic. Yes, and she had the delivery confirmation number as well!
#3 There is no shipping price of $1.88 for shipping for a 6 ounce magazine in the postal system. The magazine weight almost 2 lbs anyway. Therefore, her shipping costs are impossible, a lie, and NOT what she agreed to at auction in the first place. She just wanted to find something to complain about.
#4 If my user information was updated from my move she would not have bought from me but would have bought from the other New York dealer. A search of all the active and closed listings for the magazine Mia bought shows NO NEW YORK DEALER EXISTED. Not only a lie but a straw man argument! Again, just more bitter angry complaining for no reason.
#5 She claims there was no information in the postal system. The delivery confirmation number had already clearly shown the following by this point:

Should it surprise us that the magazine arrived the day after Mia's last lie filled tirad? Of course, she wasn't about to let that stop her from continuing to spew her venom. See her next email full of lies and hate on August 24th:
"Horrible. The issue arrived. The main story, the entire section regarding Dinosaurs (which is the ONLY reason I purchased the issue) is totally damaged. The pages are written and drawn on. They are badly creased, dog-eared, torn and detached from the spine. Further, the pages arrived totally out of order with one page folded over and stuck inside the issue.
Moreover, the label shows clearly that you did mail this from Astoria so your remarks about moving to California and mailing it from there don't make sense.
I now have to re-order this issue from another vendor. The purpose for which it was intended (a birthday) has passed.
How much worse could this be screwed up?
Obviously I do NOT want a ripped issue which WAS WRITTEN AND DRAWN IN BY WHAT APPEARS TO BE A CHILD.
I do not want this magazine. I require full reimbursement INCLUDING return shipping charges.

Mia List of Lies (take 2):
#1 She completely lies about the condition of the magazine. The magazine was in near mint condition. We still have pictures and if you leave your email on this board we will be happy to share :). Of course, Mia filed a new fake complaint with ebay and didn't even bother to give us as chance to respond. Ebay noted this and did not take money from our account.
#2 She lies and says she had to bid on another item from another vendor. When you check the items she bid on you will see no such bid ever took place. All lies and drama. She kept the beautiful pristine copy we sent her along with the money she got back from the bogus claim she filed on ebay. Makes you wonder how she sleeps at night?
#3 She lies about saying I didn't ship from California. Any dummy can see that lie. According to Mia, they shipped it from New York, to Hazelwood Missouri sort facility on the 20th of August, just to take the scenic route all the way back to New York. Sure Mia! Liar! Liar!
#4 Birthday? Ok, only lie I can't prove. But, with the way she treats people, I doubt she has a friend to give a birthday gift to!
She then proceeded to lie and leave the following negative feedback on my profile on August 26th:
"FeatureStory&PhotosTornOut, Ripped, Folded, Scribbled&DrawnOn.EBAY REIMBURSED ME."
When I confronted her about the false negative feedback and her lies, she ignored me and instead made up more lies!
She called the police department in New York and filed a false police report!
This woman is truly sick and needs mental help. Since my run in with this wack job I have received other similar horror stories from other people she harassed and allegedly scammed. Here are a few stories:
"Thanks so much for writing. Yes, I and xxxx were very unhappy with the transaction with dr.mia52. She admitted to having washed the item upon delivery, so she couldn't demand a refund or claim it wasn't as described, fortunately. Though we would have gladly forfeited the sale if it meant avoiding the interaction entirely. She seems to be a very angry person, going around and looking to pick fights.
She had completely unreasonable expectations and demands, for instance, criticizing the time required for item delivery, despite our stated handling time and the post office's estimates. Basically dr.mia52 was saying that because she can imagine wrapping and getting an item into the hands of the US mail system being accomplished withing 24 hours, and because the US mail always meets its own estimates, that's what our business performance should be."
The stories of abuse, harassment, and fraud commited by Mia Lancaster are piling up. If you can, BLOCK HER from your ebay, do NOT donate to her front group known as PLACE FOR CATS, INC, and don't risk being defrauded! From what I've read on the Internet, she leads a MUCH more interesting, vibrant, useful life than you do. By the way, how're those ratty-tatty old magazine sales going? From a psychological point of view, of course this means that the broad-assed Puerto-Rican gal from NYC, which has something like a 6 to 1 ratio of Women(-anybody-would-want) to Men(-anybody-would-want) grows very, very frightened of her own chances of finding A Man and of bearing Children. And, it looks like pretty much everyone else disagrees with you since you are the only negative feedback the OP has on her file and her rating is over 99%. That must really make you angry.

I'm not sure why Dr.Mia52 continues to try to convince herself (or the other IDs she talks to herself with) that people will google the OP and think negatively of her. The OP's original post clearly shows Dr.Mia52 is a liar, fraud, and bad person. I see nothing negative about the OP at all.
I think the OP has moved on. This page does FAR more damage to Dr.Mia52 (Mia Lancaster)'s reputation than that fake negative feedback she put on the OP's profile. Anyon who looks at the OP's feedback can clearly see Dr.Mia52 is the only person complaining and has serious issues.
I can Not Believe what I have just read here! I have purchased quite a few firearms from Bud's and have always had a positive experience, even when things were not perfect, they made a concerted effort to make it right and by doing so have made a life time loyal customer out of me. I agree, Betty_N. I check here periodically to see if Amy Sola-Hernandez may have had sort of epiphany; perhaps an, "Oh, I get it now. Freaking out over a tatty old magazine / trying to ruin my buyer's reputation online only hurt ME, " but she seems to be in the wind now.
Maybe she understands finally that those of us who ever gave a crap can Google "amysoladez" or "amy sola hernandez" just as easily as we can "dr.mia52" and wind up on this page...
This page should be memorialized somewhere on Ebay, somehow, as a warning to buyers and sellers alike. Whole lot of crazies out there.

From what I see, Dr.Mia's auctions are alive and well. As they should be. But, Amy Sola Hernandez auctions seem to have been abandoned. And no posting here for the last six days. Hopefully, Amysoladez has been arrested and is sitting in a jail cell somewhere. Ebay needs to step up faster on this kind of thing. I spend thousands there every year and won't spend another penny if they're sitting back on their butts letting sellers go bat[censored] crazy like this without stepping in to stop it.

The hard work backlinking this page has really paid off. It is now the #6 most viewed page on complaintsboard.com. She is also ranked #6 as the worst rated company on complaintsboard.com. Mia Lancaster is not able to handle the heat she is receiving. We have now completely shut her auctions down. Her account is currently unable to sell. The OP is riding high with 400+ auctions and dr.mia52 has been stopped. She-eats-cats! is right on the money about that other board. It does seem like there are about 3-5 weak minded people babbling on. It is funny to read. I will give you a hint about my identity Mia. Think dress reselling pics? Quick compare notes to figure out who you pissed off enough to call your phones non stop, or who is the person you say you keep seeing around, or who is doing what? Karma is wicked when you have made so many people angry.

At the end of the day, it is obvious to anyone NOT reading that board on ebay that dr.mia52/mia lancaster was at fault. It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the seller if there is a problem with the order on ebay. Ebay clearly advises buyers to contact the seller before leaving negative feedback. Did Mia do this? Nope. Mia has proven to be good at mutilating magazines (drawing, coloring, writing on them, etc) and then taking pictures. She has not shown where she made an attempt to actually resolve the problem. This, of course, goes back to the main argument the OP and many other victims on ebay have about her. Mia Lancaster is on the run and hiding from this board because she can't manipulate/suppress what is written here. What is written here ranks at the top of google. So, like it or not, people will read it. Most people will never read far enough down to even reach these comments. They will read the review and judge her character and her cat front accordingly.
I would disagree with the notion that this is "just about a $15 magazine". It is about negative feedback and the damage that does to ones reputation. That far out weighs the negative feedback. If Mia Lancaster had a disregard to the OPs reputation and decided to drag her name through the mud without contacting her first about a problem, I see no reason why Mia Lancaster should expect any better treatment from the OP or anyone else.
I guess this comes down to an ebay version of chicken. Neither side wants to give in. I guess I would ask Mia Lancaster to answer how important her pride is to her. If she resolved the issue with the OP then both sides could end this, remove their complaints, and move on their happy ways. Mia Lancaster could be seen as the bigger person. Will she? I won't hold my breath.

I do see that Mia Lancaster has withdrawn most of her posts using the fake names. That was wise. To the OP: If you are still reading this - I would recommend that you continue to push this forward. Start more blogs, attack the cat organization, directly target her on all fronts. Turn this into a full on infowar. Use powerful SEO tools like xrumer, senuke, or such to drown out all of Mia's attempts to fight back. I saw the terrible things she put on those other sellers' feedback profiles as well. I conducted a quick online search for a few terms in the thread. The buyer name and address plus her ebay account name and cat organization all have this link showing high in the search engines. Near the top or #1 in most cases. I wonder how many people think this sort of damage is worth the review left on a $15 magazine? I know if it were me I would just remove the review and move on. My good name is too valuable.

I am Mia. I want to clear the air up. I came in here the past week in a stealth manner in an attempt to intimidate the author of this blog and force her to withdraw what she wrote. I now realize that was a huge mistake. These people will never go away until I remove the negative feedback. I just want this to go away. I don't even know how to remove a negative feedback. I did call the police. I called over a dozen times. Detective Eng at the NYPD told me that I didn't have a case since the seller never threatened bodily harm. I'm so mad about that. I just think he wanted his Krispy Kreme donuts more than he wanted to help me. Why can't I just have people arrested for writing bad things about me on the internet? Where is the justice? I know I did it too. But, that was...different. I'm just really disappointed and losing sleep every night over this. I don't know where to turn now. I spend my entire day thinking of how to get the author of this blog that I can no longer focus on putting listings on ebay. I only have two up right now and that witch has over 400. That makes me so mad! I'm really just want to be done with all this. I don't know why nobody believes me. Meanwhile everyone who reads the ebay discussion forums has seen the LIFE magazine images posted by AMYSOLADEZ's buyer. We know it was represented as being "pristine, " yet was actually in extremely poor condition. We know that it was represented as being in NY, where the buyer lives (important to buyer, since she was buying it as a birthday present); we know it arrived LATE, and in POOR condition.
Thanks to an online service, we also know that OP has left negative feedback twice in the past.

You better believe that was a threat. It is 100% legal to threaten people who behave poorly, Mia. You just can't threaten bodily harm. Something I would never resort to. I was going to let this go as Amy no longer seems to care about any of this. If you look at her ebay account you can see she is focused on that and doing quite well. I'm acting outside of her instructions and having my own fun. There are certain types of people in this world who just like to pick fights with people behind computers as Mia Lancaster is one of them. The more she fights this the more I will spread the word. I may have to juice it up a bit because the OP was too kind in the initial write up here. I'm glad I came back here to check on this board.
