Had been pestered to renew my Norton antivirus which I did know was to expire soon. Had attempted to do it once, but had to update credit card info, and apparently didn't complete the transaction. Another reminder, and renewed, but it really wasn't the same site, because now I have found the charge from this company on my credit card bill and am still being told my norton anti virus has not been renewed. I should have been suspicious when they didn't ask for the security code on the back of the card.

Why have I been charged so many times? I've paid 49.99x3---and then I just received another statement (different visa) for 49.99. Jane S.

To whom it may concern:

This email is by way of the directive that my bank, Bank of America, has given me.

After being a Norton Anti Virus customer for 8-10+ years I have been wrongfully charged three times for a Norton Anti-Virus that I was never able to download.

Charges made to my Bank of America credit card acct. #[protected] happened on 3/14/2009 which for a variety of reasons fell through the cracks in my recordkeeping and bill paying process.

Sole item attempted to purchases three different times:
DRI SYMANTEC [protected] 3/13/2009 Reference # 7338 $69.98
DRI SYMANTEC [protected] 3/13/2009 Reference # 0732 $69.98
DRI SYMANTEC [protected] 3/13/2009 Reference # 1702 $69.98

At the time that I attempted to purchase your product I was never able to accomplish my objective in getting it downloaded, finally giving up in frustration.

In the following week I made three email attempts to communicate with Norton Symantec but to no avail in being able to get a response or a real person to communicate with me.

In the following month I did not find any charges to my credit or debit card and basically let the process fall through the cracks for lack of an appropriate follow up, follow through on my part due to a move I made in April 2009, the first in 25 years. This was very time consuming move and a very disruptive process to my life and recordkeeping process, for which I apologize.

Now, while in the process of reviewing and assembling all my Income and Expenses records for the tax year just ended I stumbled across the above billing from you to my BOA credit card account.

How do I get this wrongful charge corrected and cleared up?

Please review and respond. Please communicate with me in some way.

Thank you,

Robert W. Hague

I have been billed twice for renewing Norton anti-virus:
Date trans 09/18; date post 09/19; Mastercard; Ref # 5543286LN00W1RV5FM; Dri*Symantec www.myord.com mn; $49.99.

Date trans 09/23; date post 09/23; Mastercard; Ref # 5543286LV00G5XTN1M; Norton annual renewal; [protected] CA; $52.99.

It took hours and days to download renewal probably because Nortons wanted to use an expired credit card instead of current one. Eventuallly accepted current card. Please, please credit my card for one of these charges.

I have a complaint and would like a response back asap, How will I received my antivirus from you. You took the payment off of my credit card but I wasn't able to load it on my machine because after I put in my credit card it shut me out to finish my transaction. I would appreciate it if someone could contact me to let me know how I will get the antivirus on my computer,

Thanks,
mel

This complaint sounds just lime me because I did almost the same thing and before I had actually finished I lost the site, however they got 114.99 out of my Visa account and as far as I know nothing was done ..and I am very mad..I hope something can be done and I get my hard earned money put back into my visa account..
