Dr. Jill Allen review: Dr. Jill Allen

If you have cancer, and want to be told that you will be 100% DEAD in a year, then be seen by Dr. Jill Allen. My mother was referred to Dr. Allen, after being told she had pancreatic cancer. Dr. Allen, never reviewed her medical records, MRI and other scans. All she saw was "Pancreatic Cancer", and told her she would be dead in a year. She was cold, and with her personality should not be in the medical field. I knew in my heart, she was so wrong, yet my mother felt completely hopeless, because of this horrible doctor. Being a RN, I dedicated all my time to finding the best doctors possible, and made sure a "referral" like this would never happen again. Because of the wonderful medical staff at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, especially the GI specialists, today the small tumor on her pancreas, and liver are barely detectable. Her dose of chemotherapy has been reduced, and under the circumstances, is living a happy life. If it weren't for the chemotherapy side effects, you would never know she even had cancer.
