DPD Local Online Delivery driver simply lied about delivery

Had overnight delivery, for AM delivery today. At 11.40am stated parcel as delivered. Geo tag shows address delivered to as miles away, as actual delivery address is so16, also no address number given for address package was supposed to have been delivered to, as picture just shows outside of flats, the reciever was stated as Sparrow, which is name of block of flats. This delivery driver lied to company stating delivered, as assume just stated delivered prior to PM To keep his performance stats with company. I have spent all day trying to track with no direct point of contact via any of the dpd site. Simply round & round stating parcel is delivered. This is discusting, the client wants refund on package contents and I have missed a whole day's income trying to sort this issue with no success. I would like DPD to respond so I can progress an compensation reimbursement.

DPD Local Online Do NOT use DPD local online (only have a star because i have to)

They do not update you

Their tracking system is useless

Staff do not answer the phone - keyboard warriors

I sent my parcel since the 07th february and i was informed by basic tracking that it was collected and on way. Then i contact someone and they say it has been returned...Why has it been returned? no one knows - i wanted to know why to prevent it from happening again! they say i have to wait 8 weeks for s refund to start.

The last update from the thieves is that it was confirmed at Hub since 19th feb - contact their useless staff via chat and they advise that it was redelivered to you? suprised because i was not aware it says it is at your hub since 19th feb...lies!

at this stage; i still do not know where my parcel is?

I am out of pocket for the item as i believe it has been stolen by your staff - (yes i said it.)

I have not got my money back for the NOT sending just driving around with my item. So i am double out of pocket because if this company!

Please people do not use them. Pay for DHL or FEDEX

Recommendation: DO NOT USE DPD LOCAL ONLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DPD Local Online DPD Local admit they take no responsibility for your parcel!!!

I sent a parcel to Italy from Bournemouth. It was stuck in Italian customs for a month (nothing new there, in fairness). Italian Customs failed, or did not attempt to, contact the recipient to obtain an Italian tax id or duty payment. Instead, it has now been returned to Bournemouth via DPD despite my best efforts to stop it and have it delivered instead.

If DPD had contacted me first, instead of just shipping it back, I'm sure this issue could have been resolved. I could even have paid the required duty.

Apparently, had I used DHL, in this circumstance they would have paid the duty themselves and claimed it back from the recipient on delivery, in other words, a proper door to door service.

The Online chat person, who was very friendly and contrite I should point out, admitted that the parcel remains the sender's responsibility. DPD Local is a "self Service" thing, whatever that means.

I was also told that I should have informed them sooner that there was a problem, although, other than the delay, it wasn't obvious that there was one! I asked out of interest what DPD would have done if I had contacted them earlier before the parcel was sent back. She seemed to be unable to answer this question, but repeated that the parcel was my responsibility. No refund, compensation, or an offer to try again.

So, I'm down GBP50.00 give or take and the parcel is back where it started. On the plus side, at least they didn't lose it...

Recommendation: Be aware that support is online chat only and don't expect much actual help.

DPD Local Online Catastrophic currier

Even 0 point is too much for them. Pure scammers. Could be DPD UK taken into consideration at all as civilized courier company? It is truly mocking the clients via WhatsApp via automatic robot. Not possible to get a live agent. My post code is noted in their system as “not recognized” 1 parcel today returned to the sender. 3 others parcels were not attempted to be delivered, but driver Valentin noted that he missed us and attached as proof a photo for 2 of them of I don’t know whose house somewhere (not our one).

Third parcel which should arrive today should be delivered by driver Graeme (funny-3 parcels for the same customer could be delivered by 2 different drivers- awfully efficient logistic! Driver

Graeme attached a photo of “dark” as “prove” he attempted deliver.

Behavior of pure scammers-do not attempt to deliver but stated the attempt has been done. No one tried to call.

It is true it is a new built, but if all the other delivery service in Edinburgh can find it (Royal mail, Amazon, John Lewis and others), DPD should also. They have at least our mobile number. On last Thursday someone called me, I clearly explained exactly location, then I saw in system “no address found”.

After attempting chat with DPD-not possible because new code was not found. Why then accepted the parcel from sender if “post code of receiver” is not found?

Disgusting service, how can it be allowed to operate at all?

DPD Local Online Avoid DPD local at all costs

Normally I've not had a problem with DPD but this experience has been so awful I'll never send anything by DPD again, for the love of god read the reviews and do not use this company

No one will lift a finger to help you

They have lost both of my parcels

I dropped off 2 parcels at my local drop off and got the slips as proof like normal. A few days later the recipient tells me nothing had come so I check the tracking and its still showing as "waiting sender to drop off" which I did days ago so I check the live chat and I'll get an update the following day... as you might have guessed no one got back to me. In my own time I even went to the drop off and they told me all their DPD parcels had been picked up. So I go through the live chat process again but this time no one even enters the chat, you go through the steps "await an agent" and then 10 minutes of nothing then the chat self ends

I called ever single DPD number I could find on Google and every single one of them said "Oh that's DPD Local you have to go through the live chat" over and over again I said to them the live chat isn't working how do I contact DPD local and no one had any clue

So I guess that's just it? They can just turn off their service and get to keep your parcel and money

I can't even start the returns process being the parcel are showing as not dropped off yet

Absolute joke

DPD Local Online Waste of your precious Time

What a peasant and miserable experience, no means of contacting them but when you do happen to get a connection, be careful because when they feel like it they will just hang up on you!

They are not communicating within the company, there’s DPD Online, DPD Local, DPD Export ecc.

They will send you around all of them like a chicken with no head. What a crappie company.

Recommendation: They said this PostCode don’t exist 20079 and not sent my parcel, Google it yourselves it’s in Milan Italy my cousins home but it never arrived

They sent me an email after a week that I’ve sent a parcel containing toys and gifts to my cousin in Italy Milan for his sons birthday, they said that the postal code is incorrect so please sent the correct Postal code… to my surprise, I’ve been sending him letters and parcels over two years never had a problem, I said to them it’s the correct Postal Code just Google it…20079 Milan Italy but not for them. They ended up losing it.

Very big problem contacting them , they are not connected amongst themselves, DPD LOCAL, DPD ONLINE, DPD EXPORT, ecc. they always say to contact everyone else and if you’re lucky enough they will not hang up on you!

DPD Local Online Another no show claiming I wasn't in.

I was sent a message saying that they would deliver my parcel between 14:03-15:03 today so I stayed in and at 14:11 i received a message saying "sorry we missed you". Yeah because you never showed up and I have CCTV footage to prove this! I am now expected to collect my parcel a 15 minute walk from my house and I anticipate it to be a large box. I expect my delivery charge to be refunded as you have not provided the service I have paid for and I am now having to do your job. You have also wasted my time which I do not appreciate! This is the third, fourth time this has happened in the last 2.5 months. It is disgusting that you treat customers this way! When will companies stop using this useless company, it is the only way they will learn.

Recommendation: Avoid at all costs

DPD Local Online Imagine the worst possibleservice, and then multiply it by 10. That's DPD Local

My journey with this unforgettable company started on April 11th 2023, when I created my online order. To be objective, the process of creating order online is quite okay, and it gives you impression, that everything is well maintained and under control. I received notifications, the driver came to the address on time.

The box was picked up from my friend's address in London on April 12th. What happened to the box later - God only knows, however I suspect that it was stollen by the driver, who's name is Ahmadullah. He came to the address, picked the box up, my friend asked whether he should leave any receipt - he said no, but left some piece of paper with DPD logo on it and some number, saying that we could track the parcel with this number. He sounded persuasive, so my friend handed the box to him, even though it's not a regular process.

After this, the box went bye-byes. I couldn't track it the next day, so I decided to get in touch with support.

I have started multiple chats online (you should know that if you order DPD Local service, you will never be able to talk to the support by the phone.) Even if you manage somehow to get through after waiting on the line, the operator will kindly send you to the chat. Wow!

Well, after those hours spent in chats trying to figure out what happenned to the box, about 3 weeks after the box was stolen they have sent me some form, where I was supposed to answer some questions, proving (!) that I haven't received it. This is ricidulous.

Okay, I have answered all those questions in the beginning of May, then about a week after they sent confirmation by email, that they will compensate the insurance (50 pounds) and delivery charge (52,7 pounds). I was supposed to share the bank info in the special page in DPD Local online, but guess what - it was impossible to add IBAN number. So, I emailed them my bank info. It took them 2 weeks to verify the info, then they sent an email, saying that the money will be sent within 5-7 working days.

Well, it's been over a month now, I only received 1 payment (insurance 50 pounds, 10 pounds were cut off by comission, cause my account is not British). 52,7 pounds are lost on the way, I guess. No one replies my emails anymore.

So! Please, if you are reading this, never ever use this company's services.

It's useless, inefficient, stealing and not caring about the customers. I wonder how this type of company managed to still exist and no go bankrupt in 2023.

Recommendation: never ever use DPD Local

DPD Local Online Parcels being returned

Parcel contents 3 boxes sent to.Spencer Hack. DPD ref DPD9588336

Customer received email to say ready to collect but then i got all 3 parcels returned to me. I have resent all 3 boxes and they were received successfully.

Scott Baker. 1 box. DPD ref DPD9706911. Parcel was returned to me today.

Phoned [protected] was told to do online chat but no extra help given. SNEHA on the phone was helpful but the courier does not know why it has been returned to me.

Desired outcome: Would like a refund of £25.76 for spencer hack parcels as resent again and they arrived but over a month and still no reply from dpd.Would like a refund of £5 for scott baker parcel as need to send again.Email me [protected]@hotmail.com

DPD Local Online Pretending to have rung the bell etc took a photo outside to make it look legit

We have been home all morning and afternoon to the time we are at now nobody has rang the Bell no one has not the door the picture clearly shows that he was outside the building but all these took a picture of himself still outside we have the same problem with a certain DPD delivery driver that comes around the area because he had a fallout with one of my neighbours and when she was having packages delivered he would terminate and said there was nobody home and drive back off out the road with the package and not knock not the door this is not acceptable I work I can't take time off of work I've just had my holiday leave I want my package I am paying for an iPhone contract that I don't even have in my possession.

There are no options available either .

Desired outcome: I want my package today I will collect it need be I will also contact the sender to inform them of the company's actions as this is clearly an unreliable company and drivers are lying .

Dpd lost my parcel I paid insurance on it I put a claim in open a case they're asking for information on item . they said they would look into this got back to me asking for more information and again they still looking into the case.igot no reply I contacted Dpd again to find they have closed the case not enough information (what) so I said to reopen the case give them more information about the parcel email address.phone number can you please sort this out for me thank you Stephen holding

Desired outcome: To get my money back £150 for the item and £47. For the delivery.

DPD Local Online Refund from damaged goods

I opened up a refund case DPD9287784 on the 27th June with dpd local. They asked for more evidence like bank statement proof of purchase. But there is no where to add it to my claim. I sent pictures of damage that the courier done. I also have pictures before it was sent in excellent condition. I sent proof of purchased. I took out insurance too. I would like my £360 refunded. As I've lost out as the recipient won't refund me as its damaged by your driver. The driver was seen sticking it on my front wall before taking it too the van and it fell off the wall. Surely I shouldn't be waiting this long for a refund. And it is very difficult to contact dpd local as well

Desired outcome: Would like a full refund as I took out extra insurance for the amount of the good total £360

I got a message directing me to pickup my item at the post office on London road in Southampton, I got there and was told there is a restriction on the item, that I will need to contact your company for the restriction to be lifted. DPD Local Online DPD Local Online Review: Terrible Delivery & No Refund After Months

I am really not impressed with DPD Local Online. My letter was collected over a month and a half ago and it still hasn't been delivered. To make matters worse, they are refusing to refund my money and are claiming that they are investigating the situation. It's completely unacceptable to make a customer wait like this, especially when they are not being transparent about what's going on.

I'm starting to wonder if there's an ombudsman in the UK that I can speak to about this. It's really frustrating because I don't know what to do next. I can't trust DPD Local Online to deliver anything important because they are clearly not experts in passing the buck. It seems like nothing works when it comes to contacting them, whether it's online chat, WhatsApp or email.

All in all, I would strongly advise people to avoid using DPD Local Online if they can. It's not worth the risk of losing your package or dealing with the hassle of trying to get a refund. I wish I had known about their poor service before I decided to use them.

DPD Local Online DPD Local Online Delivery Service: Frustrating and Disappointing Experience - A Warning to Others!

So, I have to tell you about my experience with DPD local online (dpdlocal-online.co.uk) delivery service. It was very frustrating and disappointing, to say the least.

I was waiting for an important parcel and was tracking it live on the website. I kept a watchful eye through my window, but the delivery driver didn't even attempt to deliver it. When I checked the photo taken by the driver, it was clear that he hadn't even come to my door. This was just unacceptable!

I called the depot in Basildon multiple times to resolve the issue. But, to my utter dismay, they chose not to correct the driver's mistake, even after it was brought to their attention on several occasions. And to top it all off, the driver was never available to be reached. Can you imagine that?!

The worst part of this whole ordeal was that my parcel never arrived in time and I had to suffer for it. It's truly a shame that such poor service is provided by DPD local as it's a reflection on the sender's brand. I, therefore, strongly advise anyone against using the DPD local online delivery service. Take my word for it, DO NOT USE!

DPD Local Online DPD Local Online: A Complete Nightmare

There's no denying that the experience I had with DPD Local Online was a complete nightmare. It was a complete mess to get anything sorted out. Every step of the way was a total disaster, it seemed that everything I tried to do was met with an obstacle. Nothing was straightforward and it was all so stressful.

It was really infuriating to have to deal with a company that didn't seem to care about anything other than making money off its customers. They were clearly more interested in taking my cash than offering any kind of reliable delivery service.

I was constantly left feeling frustrated with the lack of care and attention that DPD Local were giving me. They didn't seem to care about the fact that I was waiting for an important item to be delivered, or the fact that it was causing me immense stress.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, under any circumstances. They really let me down, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same experience. In fact, I would actively discourage anyone from using their services. The whole thing was a complete shambles, and I don't think I've ever been so disappointed with a company as I was with DPD Local Online.

Overall, I would say that DPD Local are one of the most unreliable shipping companies out there. If you're looking for a delivery service that you can count on, I would suggest looking elsewhere. This company is a complete disaster from start to finish, and should be avoided at all costs.

DPD Local Online DPD Local Online's Terrible Customer Service Experience: A Nightmare to Resolve Urgent Customs Query

I ain't gonna lie, DPD Local Online ain't worth the hassle. I had a package stuck in customs since July 2nd, 2021, and with only 5 days to act before it gets sent back, I needed an urgent customs query resolved. I emailed the contact provided by DPD Local Online's German contractor, and I ain't still ain't heard back from them as of today, July 20th, 2021. So, I decided to reach out to DPD Local Online's chat and get this matter resolved ASAP. But let me tell you, it was a nightmare. I spent three whole hours trying to connect with the right customer service agent, only to get passed on to 5 or 6 different representatives just to be told to send a complaint to the management email address. Terrible service, if you ask me. And honestly? I ain't never using DPD Local Online again.

DPD Local Online DPD Local Online Review: Unreliable Service, Missed Collections, and Inadequate Communication

I been rockin' with DPD local online for years now. They used to have their depot in one place but they moved it all the way to Exeter, like come on man, why? Anyways, about three moons ago, I had a missed collection and didn't get no explanation about it. Like, what do you expect me to do with that kind of service? But then, I had a delivery from them just recently so it's not like they don't know where I live, you feel me?

So, I tried to send a parcel last Friday, thinking maybe things had gotten better. But nope, the driver didn't show up and the reason he gave was that he "Couldn't connect." Like, what does that even mean, man? And then, I tried to chat with them online, and they re-booked it for today (Monday), but it was the same story all over again. The chat operators are cool and all, but they can't do much to help you, ya know? They don't know any more about the status of the van or driver than you do, which is zero.

You have to book and register your mobile number online, and it seems like the thing the driver can't connect to is his phone. How you gonna be a delivery driver and not have your phone working, right? Absolutely useless, my man. Ain't using them again.

DPD Local Online DPD Local Online Review: Terrible Service, Lost Package & No Compensation

So, let me tell you about my experience with DPD Local Online. I had a package that needed to be delivered on time, and I opted for their service. They collected my parcel on November 23rd, and that was the last time I saw any progress on the tracking details. It simply stopped tracking there, and I began to worry my package may have gone missing.

I contacted customer service multiple times and each time, they confirmed that the package "may be lost". This was frustrating in itself, but what made it worse was when I called back, they couldn't find any information about my package despite having provided me with an enquiry number which they told me to use to track it. The irony is that they were the ones who provided me with that number, but they couldn't seem to find any record of my package.

After an hour of painstaking searching on their part, they eventually found the tracking details only to report that they had no idea where the package was. I was left feeling frustrated and helpless. To make matters worse, they haven't even owned up to it. The parcel protection that they advertise is a joke. I haven't received any compensation, and they seem to be just keeping me waiting for weeks on end without even attempting to provide an explanation for the misplacement of a £300 item.

I strongly advise you to stay away from this company if you care about your packages arriving on time and safely. They don't seem to care about their customers, and the disorganization is appalling. Just be warned. If you do end up using them, make sure to keep an eye out for your package, and don't hesitate to contact them if it goes missing. DPD Local Online Beware: DPD Local Online Failed to Deliver and Provide Customer Support - My Personal Experience

I really don't recommend the DPD Local Online for sending your parcels. I had a very bad experience with them and it seems like many others have had the same. Even though I booked through DPD Online, my parcel was collected by DPD. I was tracking my parcel and everything seemed fine until it never arrived at its destination, and we presume it never left the UK. It's been over four months now, and I still haven't received my delivery. I tried to contact them through email and phone, but it was useless. Every time I called, they just hung up on me, and no one ever got back to me. I also noticed that they had taken my money right away when I made the booking, but there was no sign of my delivery.

I'm not the only one with this problem, and I'm trying to gather as many people as possible who have experienced the same thing. We need to expose them for what they are doing. They are taking people's money without delivering their parcels and not providing any customer support for complaints or refunds. Please message me as soon as possible if you have experienced the same problem with DPD Local Online. I'm planning on reporting them to trading standards, and if anyone is interested, I can also inform a National Television Consumer programme. Please, do yourself a favour and avoid using DPD Local Online.

DPD Local Online Beware of DPDlocal-online and Parcel2Go - A Nightmare Experience

Yo, I gotta say, I tried using DPDlocal-online to send a package and it was a complete nightmare. So, first things first, these guys ain't even a registered company! I mean, come on, that's sketchy as hell. I had to do my own research and found out that it's just a website run by parcel2go. Why they gotta hide behind a fake name? It's shady as hell.

Anyway, when I tried to contact DPDlocal-online through their chat system, I was waiting for over an hour! And when I finally got through to one of their so-called "customer service" people, they were a complete [censored]. I had to roll the dice and hope that they'd actually help me out instead of just closing the chat and putting me back in the queue.

And get this: when I contacted parcel2go to complain, they straight up denied any association with DPDlocal-online. But check this out - if you read the fine print, you'll see that all payments are collected by parcel2go and the contract is with parcel2go! What the actual heck?

Honestly, I think some illegal stuff is going on here. They straight-up stole my package and I'm taking legal action against parcel2go. Don't even think about using DPDlocal-online or parcel2go.com. It's just not worth the risk.

DPD Local Online (dpdlocal-online.co.uk) is a shipping company that has received quite a negative reception these days. It is understandable, because I have also had a bad experience with them. In fact, I regret giving them a second chance after a mix-up with my parcels and wrong delivery addresses.

I sent my parcel on 23 November 2021, and until now, on 4 January 2022, I have no idea where my package is! It turned out that my parcel got mixed up with someone else's delivery. The person wrongly received my package instead of my intended recipient, my friend. Fortunately, using Facebook messaging, we found each other, but DPD Local was minimal help.

Indeed, we had to solve it ourselves. The other person, who received my package, booked a collection with DPD Local and sent me my original package using Hermes. To date, I still don't have my parcel that went missing. I have spent over ten hours on the phone following it up and trying to get a status update, but to no avail. I even tried chatting online, but there was no response or assistance from their team. Clearly, nobody appears willing or able to help me.

For my part, I must say that I advise against using DPD Local for your shipping needs. It is not worth the money, time, or energy. It is critical to take your parcel to a company that values customers and their possessions. Ultimately, I will not use them again after this poor experience. It cost me time and caused frustration, and the delivery didn't even arrive.

DPD Local Online DPD Local Online Review: A Nightmare Experience with Lost Belongings and No Communication

Oh boy, where do I start? DPD Local Online really left a sour taste in my mouth when I trusted them to send my belongings from England to Poland. Let me tell you, what a mistake that was.

The whole experience was downright frustrating, to say the least. The incompetence was glaring from the very beginning. The drivers were lazy and took multiple attempts to collect my stuff because, apparently, they couldn't be bothered to look for the address properly.

But that's not even the worst part. They actually took my stuff and disappeared with it! It's been almost a whole month now and I still haven't got it back. And the icing on the cake? These guys don't communicate as promised. There's no phone number to call, and they dismiss all responsibility.

I mean, what kind of company is this? When I tried to escalate the issue by emailing the complaints department, no one actually bothered to reply. Not even a courtesy email acknowledging the issue.

The online chat wasn't any better, to say the least. The first person told me that my things would be delivered in the afternoon of March 10th. Another person contradicted that and told me the delivery window was 7-14 days. And now, when I got in touch with them via email, they're talking about 8 weeks! And the worst part is, I'm being told that nothing can be done further.

It's just a joke, really. Don't trust this company with your belongings. Never, ever.

Every evening DPD Local vehicle parking on pavement and half across front of property making it difficult to reverse my car out. I tried twice speaking to the driver but her attitude is appalling and very rude. If this is not resolved promptly I will escalate to DVSA within the next 7 days

Absolutely awful company , it took these people 6 attempts to try and collect our package and failed every time , couldn’t find us , we were not in (lie) went to wrong address , didn’t show up OMG these people are so bad ! Dont use this company if you don’t want to lose customers and money . They just don’t care 🤷🏽‍♂️

Driver didn't attempt delivery, took a photo of a random street as proof of attempted delivery. When trying to call customer service, there is no option to talk to a person and when trying to contact them via email - it's showing an error and asking you to try again later.

I am not sure I will ever see this package and it was quite pricy

As usual with DPD Local - poor delivery service, poor customer service, filled with dishonesty. A simple delivery, just a couple of boxes - first day didn't turn up. Second day lied about attempting delivery. No one that I can speak to. This is the reason that I ditched this company for my own business
