Supply Issues

Senator Cassidy:

I own a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. There have been numerous Safety Recalls and I had each of them attended to. Now my truck has broken down and I had to have it towed to a dealer in Denham Springs after speaking with them. That was approximately 4/2/2022, four months ago. I am being told that my needed parts are on backorder. I contacted corporate headquarters (Ram Case Management – case [protected]) and have been told the same thing. I have kept in touch weekly. Now no one will call me back or email me and I am without the use of my truck. I have not been offered a rental car or loaner vehicle.

As a retired federal employee (33 years FAA) and taxpayer, with two tours of service in the military (USN and USMC) I am asking for your help. Can you please get this ball rolling.
