sent check for 33mm suntone camera on 7-22-10 and have only received a letter from DMI to send more money for a deluxe nippon electronic flash for 12.67 plus 2.00 shipping
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Add another to the list this couple of scamming thieves have tried. They sent my 94 year old mother the same letter using bold red letters on the front "Urgernt Notification". This is plain and simple an attempt to scam mainly elderly folks. Thing is, if the recipient sends the cash and DMI sends the POS camera there is no crime. If, however as many complaints allege, they do not get the merchandise, that's a crime. Either way, DMI makes money with no concern for any kind of legal retribution. The Attorneys General of each state where complaints have been found against these crooks, should file Demand letters with the Texas AG's office and have these people perp-walked in front of news cameras. Let our old folks ALONE!
Seeking anyone who has had a positive follow-up for camera and attachment thru DMI in Carrollton, TX. (see my posting dd 2/26/16.
Based on their confirmation letter dd 12/21/15, I sent, my check for the Deluxe Nippon Electronic Flash 12/31/15. Their letter regarding the 33mm Nippon Camera stated that the camera was "being processed for shipment" to me. As of this date 2/26/16, I have never received either item, in spite of the fact that my check was processed thru MY bank 1/15/16, and paid by same. Any info that can be shared would be greatly appreciated.
This exact same thing has happened to my mother. She sent an order in with a check in July 2010 and has only received the offer to purchase a flash attachment. The letter says that the camera will be shipped in 3 to 4 weeks. It has been over 3 months. What can be done about this?
