Dick's Sporting Goods Tennis racket restringing

On august 19, I took my tennis racket to dick’s to get restrung. After waiting for calling for help at the tennis desk, a team member helped me out and told me that I just needed to go pay for the strings and then bring them back to him at the desk. Upon return, he was no longer there, so I left the strings with the racket with all the other ones. They said it would take about a week. After two weeks, I called and they said that it would be ready the next day, but I heard nothing. Today, September 12, almost 3 1/2 weeks after I dropped it off, I called and they said they would restring it by the end of the day. Poor service and overall terrible experience. Would greatly appreciate a refund.

Dick's Sporting Goods Proform pro c22 studio bike

I ordered the ProForm Pro C22 Studio bike (Order number [protected]) that was on sale on 9/1. No problems with the delivery. It was delivered on 9/7. The issue is with the bike. It is defective. I set it up and the touchscreen does not work properly and has to be replaced. I contacted Dick's to let them know and their response is that I have to contact ProForm. I wanted to exchange it, but one I tested positive for COVID, so I cannot leave. Then I find out the resistance motor is not working and again I contacted Dick's only for them to tell me to contact ProForm again. The motor has to be replaced as well. It is supposed to be a brand new bike. I wanted to use the bike while I am stuck at home with COVID, and I cannot even do that. No one at Dick’s seems to care. You sell a product, and after that, you are in your own, with or without COVID.

Dick's Sporting Goods Marucci baseball bat

I purchased a Mauricci baseball bat on April 11, 2023, and the protection plan due to the bat being 119.00. We attended a tournament game this past weekend and the bat cracked. I told my son to place it in his bag to which he did. Later when we were leaving, we noticed the bat had been stolen. I reported this to Asurion No Sweat Protection Plan, as it states to replace the product or refund the money for up to a year. Tried several times as Asurion kept telling me to return the bat to Dicks Sporting Goods, and I kept telling them how can I return a stolen bat? I don't have it to return. Then after that, they then told me they could do nothing and would not process the claim. They stole my money and lied about everything. DO NOT purchase anything from ASURION, they lie and don't insure anything. DO NOT purchase anything from DICKS either as they were no help at all!

Dick's Sporting Goods Company policy

I bought a kids little league baseball bat, my grandson went to use it, but the umpire would not let him because it was a league approved bat, so I tryed to return it, was purchased in April 15, but because I took the wrap of plastic off the bat they refused to return it, so ridiculous obviously the first thing anyone would do when they buy a bat is take that off, one of manager rudely told me I was out of luck, I will spread the word to our league about buyer beware at dicks shady return policy

Dick's Sporting Goods Dick's and shipping

Dick's associate helped me in store and put in an order for me on the kiosk. Delivery for the hoop was supposed to be on April 10th but never received it! Called the shipping company they said the store doesn't have it for them to pick it up so they can't help! Called the Dick's store in Salem NH where they put the order in for me and the guy said it's not his fault and can't help! Called the [protected] and they said they don't know what's going on and they can't help and no one even bothered to give me a refund or credit! This was a half court basketball project I was doing for someone it was a surprise for their son for this coming weekend and now they won't pay me! Very bad experience. I'll never purchase anything from dicks again! very disappointed!

Dick's Sporting Goods Costa Del Mar Sunglasses

It’s been a week of back and forth everyday replies with the Assurance No Sweat Protection Plan. I’ve submitted multiple pictures of my sunglasses I need replaced. I’ve submitted my receipt of purchase and proof of my No Sweat Protection Plan and now they’re telling me my product is not covered. When I purchased it I was told it covered ANYTHING happening to my sunglasses. This is a SCAM, beware and do not purchase it. Such frustrating experience with Dicks No Sweat Protection Plan.

Dick's Sporting Goods GameChanger

Hello,

I've emailed your customer service regarding my issue for almost three weeks now and no resolution. I am the head coach of the 376 CV Pony(Nemecek) Team on GameCganger. I set my roster and staff up through the GC Staff Portal. For some reason I am no longer the Admin nor can I edit my team. I need to add another player and his family to my team but can't do it. Please update and undo whatever I inadvertently set up wrong so I can edit my own team! Please call me with this resolution at 724.513.2457.

Dick's Sporting Goods Warranty for softball glove

I purchased a softball glove on 05/02/21 from the Dick's in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. The cashier encouraged me to buy the warranty for $8.99. She stated in a year if the glove did not fit anymore, I would receive a new one. That for only $8.99 I was basically getting another glove. On 3/14/22 I tried to fill out the claim for the warranty and was denied because it was not a defect issue. I found numerous similar complaints online of cashiers misleading customers into buying warranties under false pretenses. I spoke to the store manager who stated she could not exchange the glove for me or refund the $8.99. I spoke to a Dick's customer service rep via chat online and was informed they couldn't do anything because it was purchased in a store. Based on numerous similar complaints, I find this is larger problem than just one cashiers misinforming customers.

Dick's Sporting Goods Mentor store manager and how I was treated

Unbelievable in dicks few hours ago, with my granddaughter with walking thru the store, I was violently hit with a football. Some - two teenage boys, from two isle over, thru the football and hit me in the head. I was total dazed and went down to my knees I am 65 years old). I got up and the manger cam over and ask if I WAS HIT WITH THE FOOTBALL (NOT IF I WAS OK). He knew who thru the footbal and went to them and escorted them out. I went to him and asked him why and I became loud and upset. Remember no asked if I was ok, he told me to get out of his store. I meet up the mall policeman and was ready to file charges. the only reason I did not was because I leave 45 miles and work monday thru Friday another 35 miles away. I still have a headache. I was hurt from the football hitting me and the I want to the boys, they were walked out and I was thrown out. In repeat I still have a headache. the thrown football was thrown at me by total strangers and this entire happening scared my granddaughter (14 years old).

Dick's Sporting Goods Bras

My granddaughter and I purchased $54.00 bras at the Beavercreek, Ohio store. I purchased one for me and one for her, and she purchased one. We both picked our our size and she took her two home and I took mine. Upon trying it on the next day, my bra did not wrap around me, even though I wear a 38C and purchased a 38C. I always buy good bras and I have never had this problem before. The bra was 8-10 inches short of wrapping around me. I noticed they were made in Vietnam. Their scale of measure must be different from ours. So, I spent over a $100.00 and my granddaughter spend over $50.00 for bras that we cannot wear. I had removed the tags and washed the bra, before trying it on, so I don't have the original tags that were on the bra. My granddaughter's bras did not fit, either. They, too, were way small when it came to fitting around her body. I am sure that we are not the only patrons who have had this problem. What is going on with Dicks that they make cheap bras and pass them off for $64.00, with a sale of $54? What do you advise that I do with this bra?

Dick's Sporting Goods Store employee racist toward customer

I am a loyal customer of Dick's sporting goods, and I had a horrible experience at a store in Daytona, FL. the information is listed below. I am an African American man who enjoys golf. I came into the store, and an employee asked about some drivers in comparison to other drivers. The employee by the name of Rodney Haigler, who was asked these questions, treated me as if I was not a person and attempted to belittle me with his words. I asked to speak with the manager of the store and provided the manager with the details of the event; the manager did not address the racist remarks and behavior of the store employee, Rodney Haigler, which led me to reach out to corporate in hopes that this issue of racism will be addressed.

Dick's Sporting Goods Franklin, TN Dicks Warehouse Sale complaint about employees and customers

I would like to file an official complaint about the below store where the employees and customers are working together. The customer went by the name of "CARLA" and i do not recall the Dicks Employee names. I was told that I was not allowed to buy shoes off of a rack that the employee was rolling out to "CARLA" and it appeared that she had a team of people working with her on 1/5/2023 around 10am timeframe. It appears that they were working together, and your loss prevention needs to look into this matter. Because I was told by the customer and dicks employees that they had first rights to the shoe racks there is something going on behind the scenes that you guys need to know about.

Dick's Sporting Goods I went to purchase Shoes

I went to try on various different Shoes and Every Team Member acted as if they were so Overwhelmed with tending to the Few customers they had that My 1st time trying on more than 1 pair of shoes at Dicks seemed to really irritate them..

Unfortunately the shoes I tried just didn't fit to my liking so the very last pair I asked to try the Team Member, She brought out a pair of DIRTY USED SHOES with weird stains on the insoles and there was no packing paper in the box like a NICE new pair of shoes comes wrapped in the box and I thanked her graciously each time I asked to try on another Size or Pair only to be met with rude behavior. So at that point I was kind of over the whole experience and found a different employee to bring it to his attention that the shoes where used and Dirty! His response to me was "Do you want them at a Discount?" I refused for Sanitary Conditions obviously! Poor Customer Service and Dicks Promotes selling Used Shoes Like "Good Will"! I still Despite that Nasty Experience found and Purchased other items Ill probably Return because of the whole experience! Hands down the worst customer service and all around shopping experience despite all the commercials on TV! MY friends agree sighting the same kind of experiences in that same store..

Dick's Sporting Goods Nike court vision low canvas

So my son bought these shoes at the Dicks in Syracuse at Destiny Mall last Wednesday. I dropped him off to school 5 1/2 hours away at college. Today he opened the box and there are 2 left shoes in the box. So I called the Destiny store asked for the manager which I got. He was zero help in fact rather rude. It was his employee that did not do their job and confirm that there were 2 opposite shoes in the box. I asked if he could send a return label so he could send them back and exchange them for the correct pair. Basically was again zero help. I have 5 kids, 4 our boys that played 3 sports in high school and play Lax in college. I have spent thousands of dollars at Dicks and this is the way you treat your customers. So I said I would call the corporate office, got a guy there and he said bring them to a Dicks store and they can exchange them. That would be great but the closest store is 45 minutes from his campus and he has no car. So again I asked what he could do. He said I will check with our resolution dept. Bull sh... H eleft me on hold for 20 minutes and then a answering machine said we are not open. So he basically blew me off.

Not sure I will ever give Dicks any business again and I will certainly tell this story and bash them every chance I get. Frustrated in Cortland NY

Dick's Sporting Goods Yeti cooler

I received an email from docks to take a survey and receive a free cooler. I did the survey. Then was prompted to screen to pay only shipping. Turns out it charged my card over $40. I still haven’t received the cooler. Today I got an email it was shipped. I click on it and it wants me to take survey again. This is what made me realize I was scammed months ago

Dick's Sporting Goods Returning an item

Hi I purchased two bicycle yesterday and my the handle was loose before I bought it so I asked the representative if he cab tighten it which he did then my son rode the bike less then an hour and the handle got loose again and I went back to the store and the clerk said they can't take it back because it's used I said true but the handles were tighten yesterday and now within 24 its broken so its defective so I was supposed to know that if I drive it it would break again they had nothing to say but were rude and said this Is the policy I had to leave with a defective bicycle im very upset that they wouldn't make an exception.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund because it's defective and it was loose before and now again.

Dick's Sporting Goods Warwick, ri dicks sporting goods store sneaker/shoe department. The worst, sarcastic service in my entire 68 year life!

On Wednesday, August , 2022, I visited the Dicks Location at a Warwick, RI Mall. I had full intentions on buying a new pair of sneakers. Money and coupons in hand.

There were 2 young men working in the Sneaker Dept. One was at the register and one was constantly sent into the back to find product while the other guy stayed at the register, 'Helping and having a full blown conversation about his tattoos. Several of us were waiting over 25 minutes for help from this man, but he was talking away the day! All of us waiting were growing tired. One young family of 5 kids left. Too hard to have the kids waiting! I did say something to the young man, asking, "Can you call for more help?". He looked at the woman, the both laughed in my face and he said to me, "Patience is a virtue", with a cocky, Passive-Agressive Attitude. I blew up and demanded a manager. He came but was absolutely no help. I have children and grandchildren that I buy at Dicks for. All active in Fitness and Sports. We lived at that place. NOT ANYMORE!

Desired outcome: I would like an apology from the manager at that store and a promise to "Thoroughly Train My Staff to Service People with Respect, Friendliness, understanding, compassion and good old fashion kindness!!!!

Shame on your organization and it’s Woke leadership. 63 million babies have been taken most in the name of birth control. Do you not value the innocent? How many souls will have your name attached to their death when you bow before all mighty God. Our creator, the one the beautifully knitted you together in your mothers womb. Will you think about the moment that you made this unGodly decision to kill, murder. You could easily reverse this and make the choice to value life, families, mothers and fathers. Start a non - profit or support a non-profit in educating children on birth control, values, help young mothers by supporting them to term, support adoption, at work child care, provide mental health monies through a pregnancy. There are infinite possibilities out there if we work together and follow God’s plan. I cannot support a business that would engage in mass murder. How many abortions will you support for one individual? One, three, seven? Who will conceive just to gain your filthy money? Many use abortion as birth control. God gave us free will. I hope that you will think about your choice long and hard. I know the Holy Spirit will convict you of the egregious sin against humanity. Will you listen?

I will continue to pray for your leadership to be humbled and follow God’s word.
