Horrible company full of lies! I was sold on the new “HGV Max” in June 2022. This was supposed to start in two weeks per our sales person and their manager in Scottsdale Arizona, over two months later I am now hearing October. I should have walked away as soon as I saw Diamond Resorts on the paperwork! I was told my fees would be almost nothing this year as they were giving me a “credit” so you can imagine my surprise when I received a bill for over $1,000 before my points were even in the system to use. I can not use my points until I pay this fee either. They also persuade you to open an American Express card to help you with your down payment. Nothing is ever “free” so walk away from any deals they might throw your way!

Desired outcome: Partial money back from timeshare bought and released from this financial obligation

Awful company! They mislead you, lie to you, and then insult you. They even changed my statement records without my knowledge, because I complained about inconsistences. I was very excited when I purchased this timeshare, now I am horrified.

OK...I have seen the reviews about how horrible the company is and the lies they tell you. My wife and I own(ed) a timeshare in Kissimmee, FL since 1990. We were worried about the rising costs of maintenance fees. HGV approached us about joining their program because we could give up our unit and maintenance fees if we joined their program. This sounded really great since we are retired and on a fixed income. Well, what they told us at the presentation and the contract was totally different. When we signed the closing papers, all the information presented to us by the sales person was in there. IT WAS NOT ! We didn't realize until we were getting bills from our time share for maintenance fees. We had already received and paid the maintenance fees for HGV. So why in the hell would 2 fees for 1 week? I have been calling since March only to get the run around.
