Department of Child and Families Food Stamps review: They treat people in need horribly

I applied when I lost my job and my housing. I waited over a month for an interview, did the interview 7 days before deadline, was denied for not completing interview on time before the deadline, and spent 4 days and countless hours on hold just to be hung up on multiple times and told to redo application and now it's been over a month and a half since first applying and still don't have an answer. The people I have spoken to were rude and completing not helpful. I'm at my wits end and am in need of help asap.
