I purchased Hunter Douglas blinds from Sherry Franzoy [protected] | [protected]@decoratingden.com owner of
Decorating Dens Interiors in Las Cruces. Shortly after they were
installed the bedroom blinds would intermediately not close or
open properly as they would stop and I would have to keep
pressing the open/close button 5 to 7 times to get them to open
or close all the way. I notified Sherry and she came over but it
didn't do it when she was there as I advised her that it was
intermediate but she should have still troubleshooted why it
would do that. She left and told me with attitude she would
charge me to come back and then stopped answering my phone
calls and messages for help getting them fixed as it was
happening every single time. Now they are broken and the string
that holds the accordion blinds to close properly broke. What
happened is that Sherry measured and installed the blinds
improperly and had the blinds hit the top of the sliding glass door
railing which was causing the problem and now broke the string
as it got caught in the glass door railing due to Decorating Den
Interiors improperly installing my very very expensive blinds. I
want them to come and fix my blinds as Hunter Douglas has
warranty on them and they broke because they were improperly installed by Sherry Fronzoy and Decorating Den Interiors. I have
gotten in touch with Hunter Douglas for assistance in getting
them fixed and they sent Sherry Fronzoy from Decorating Den
Interiors an email with a fix it order and they are just ignoring it. I
will attach pictures of the problem and the fix it order as well. It's
a shame when you spend over 15 thousand dollars on blinds from
Decorating Den Interiors and Sherry Fronzoy and they won't
stand behind their product and service or honor the
manufactures warranty. If Decorating Dens doesn't fix my blinds
ASAP as I have been dealing with this issue for about a year now
I will have to escalate this via Hunter Douglass and regulatory
agencies to prevent deceptive business practices and Fraud.
Desired outcome: Have my blinds repaired or replaced at no cost as it is Sherry Fronzoy and Decorating Dens Interiors who improperly installed them to fail.
