Summary (Investigation/Resolution):
Facebook Forum Member (name omitted from report/Privacy concerns)-was Cyber-Stalked - Harassed and had one's Privacy Invaded by Darren Scott Ambler who resided within the state of New Jersey at the time the incident occurred. The Victim (harassed person) in the cause for action had retained Attorney (name and address contained on file page #03-05-B): The Attorney was retained for Investigative purposes and Client representation on or about June 23, 2016.
Facebook Forum Member knew that he was being Cyber-Stalked and Harassed on the Facebook Forum. The Harassment and Stalking began on or about April 19, 2016. The actions which resulted in Harassment were initiated by Darren Ambler following a serious argument with the harassed person (former friend). Following the argument between the parties the friendship that once existed TERMINATED indefinitely.
Attorney representing the Harassed party contacted Facebook Legal on June 25, 2016 requesting a complete "Investigation". Facebook Legal replied and they cooperated fully with the Investigation until it reached a conclusion.
The Summary notations made during Investigation did state that Darren Ambler did have a history of Psychological Problems as well as a history of "Misusing" and "Abusing" Internet Resources. The Facebook Internal Investigation required issuance of a Subpoena to obtain critical and Confidential information from Darren Scott Ambler's personal Facebook Account.
The Subpoena was executed and served upon Facebook located in Menlo Park California on July 13 2016. Facebook complied with Subpoena and released required documents on July 15, 2016. A Thirty day Facebook Investigation revealed Powerful Evidence and Proofs that told a disturbing story about Darren Ambler. The Evidence and Proofs reviewed by Facebook and the Attorney representing the Harassed party clearly identified Darren Ambler as the person whom "INTENTIONALLY" Cyber-Stalked, Harassed and Invaded the Privacy of the other party or "Victim" in this cause for action.
*Proofs & Evidence Considered during Investigation is as follows:
1). Facebook Logs/covering period (4/19/16 thru 8/01/16).
2). Any and all Passwords - Screen names used - Frequency of Log in attempts - Log in data pertaining to account of Darren Ambler. All relevant Reporting data (obtained from the IT department):
3). Copies - logs of all Facebook Messenger messages covering periods 4-19-16 thru 08-01-16. Complete list of all Facebook friends associated with account of Ambler, Darren.
4). Names and account number's associated with all Facebook friends that received Messenger messages from Ambler, Darren which made direct reference to the Victim in this cause for action.

5). Specific date/times etc.. that Darren Ambler accessed Victims Facebook page/.
6). Specific Facebook Messenger messages indicated that Darren Ambler made intentional and direct contact with select Facebook Forum members (friends) for the specific purpose of sending ‘FALSE AND MISLEADING"statements about his former friend to select Facebook friends on several occasions over a three and a half month period.
7).in addition to sending select Facebook Friend's these false and slanderous messages - Darren Ambler also instructed these parties to"Unfriend"the Victim in this cause for action Immediately. It was evident Darren Ambler attempted to sever any means of communication between the Victim or harassed party and select Facebook Friends. Therefore, it was quite apparent Darren Scott Ambler had a great deal to conceal. These are certainly not the actions of a person that had nothing to hide.
8). One log in specific illustrated that Darren Ambler logged on to Facebook to view the Victims Facebook page 8x within one day. These actions on Darren Ambler's part reveal the actions of an Obsessive type abnormality.
8-A): During the Investigation Two (2) IP Addresses were identified:
*Comcast Internet Services NJ - IP# 73:150-46:43
*Broadwing Internet Services IP#167:211: 25: 38
8-B): IP Address/Comcast NJ: Identified /Ambler B as the name indicated on Internet Service Billing Report-Location was identified as Delran TWP-NJ 08075:
8-C): Second IP Address identified Broadwing Services-is a Corporate provider of Internet related Services:/ Medco-Express Scripts/Mountain Lakes-NJ:
*Therefore, it was concluded that Darren Ambler accessed the Internet from his home computer the majority of the time that he accessed Facebook during his Cyber Stalking and Harassment tirade against his former friend:/ The second IP address indicated that on occasion Darren Ambler also accessed the Internet from his place of business when accessing the Facebook forum and utilizing the messenger feature. Abuse Reports were also filed:
9). Once Darren Ambler learned that his former friend (Victim) in this matter was aware that Darren Ambler was engaging in Bazaar and Inappropriate actions of a Sexual Nature, Darren Ambler became"IRATE, "THREATENING"- and extremely "PARANOID". Shortly thereafter, Darren Ambler began his assault on the Victim through Facebook Harassment - Stalking and Invasion of privacy. It was proven that Mr. Ambler's actions were "Deliberate" and "Intentional" in nature.
10). On July 27, 2016, after a four week investigation a conclusion was reached by Facebook Legal and Attorney acting on behalf of the Victim in this cause for action. Facebook was in full agreement with Attorney that the following had occurred and appropriate action would be initiated:
A). Darren Scott Ambler did Intentionally Cyber-Stalk, Harass and Invade the privacy of the other named party (name omitted).
B). Darren Scott Ambler residing within the state of New Jersey at the time these offenses took place did in fact Violate laws as they pertain to Stalking and On-Line Harassment:
Statute - 2C:33:04 (Harassment) A Criminal Act within the State of NJ:
Statute 2C:12-10 (Cyber-Stalking) A Criminal Act within the State of NJ:
Statute 2C-14-09 (Invasion of Privacy)... A Misdemeanor Offense:
C). It is quite evident that Darren Scott Ambler residing within the state of New-Jersey did in fact Violate the law through his actions on the Facebook Forum.
11).in addition to the Violations as stated above: Facebook concluded that Darren Ambler did in fact Violate ‘FACEBOOK RULES AND STANDARD OF CONDUCT"numerous times. That Facebook will take appropriate measures to remedy the situation at hand.
Therefore Facebook Legal will Terminate the account belonging to Darren Scott Ambler on August 1, 2016: Darren Ambler's Facebook Privileges will be Suspended Permanently and reinstatement is not possible. Furthermore - if any additional Facebook accounts are found that are associated with Darren Ambler the accounts will be closed immediately.
Whereby the url associated with the account of Darren Ambler www.facebook.com//das38 will be closed INDEFINITELY and Restricted within the Facebook data system. Facebook takes violations such as this quite seriously and this type of misconduct will not be tolerated.
Furthermore - Facebook will take no further action in this matter however, the Attorney representing the Victim in this matter may elect to take further legal action. This is a matter that can only be decided by the Attorney representing the Harassed party and or/ the Victim or Harassed party in this cause for action.
In conclusion, Due to the fact that certain Statutes were Violated Facebook will report these Violations to the appropriate Internet Providers through the IPN (Internet Provider Network): In Addition, reports will be filed with the FBI Computer Forensic Division located in Washington DC. This information stays within their database for a period of approximately 10 years.
Darren Ambler was notified that his Facebook Account was Restricted from further use on August 1, 2016: Upon learning that his Facebook Account was restricted, Darren Ambler proceeded to contact Mr. David James of Delran NJ. Darren Ambler of course blamed the Victim for his removal from Facebook. Mr. Ambler conveyed this information to Mr. James. Darren Ambler also instructed Mr. James to also"Unfriend"the Victim from his Facebook list Immediately. Clearly - another Vengeful and immature act on Darren Ambler's part. Another failure to accept responsibility for his actions on Mr. Ambler's part. Which seems to be a pattern repeated continuously in Mr. Ambler's life.
Other Information regarding Investigation/Conclusion:
Attorney representing the Victim in this cause for action sent Darren Ambler a Certified letter on August 20th at his then Delran NJ address. The letter indicated that if Darren Ambler did not Cease and Desist his Harassing behaviors toward his client that further legal action would be taken. That a Protective Order would be filed against Darren Ambler in favor of his client. Letter also stated that the attorney was in possession of photos and documents that would prove quite embarrassing for Mr. Ambler to explain in a Court of Law.
Darren Scott Ambler is now labeled a Cyber Stalked based on"Proofs"obtained during this investigation. Facebook will continually monitor their web site to make certain Mr. Ambler does not establish any new or Fake accounts on the Facebook Forum. Darren Ambler could establish additional Facebook Accounts under"false"or"Fictitious"names. However - once the accounts are discovered they will be closed Immediately.
*About 4 months after Darren Ambler was removed from Facebook Indefinitely, additional Facebook accounts were discovered on the Facebook forum. One user name in particular"Dar-ren" was found and the account was Closed Immediately. Facebook works hard to keep their web site safe and free of Stalkers and on line Predators. Facebook has increased their security measures which should help to identify Stalkers and those who violate Facebook Rules and Standards of Conduct.
