I attempted to repair a small spot on my popcorn ceiling. I used DAP 2in1 25 Fluid ounce(s) White Popcorn Water-based Ceiling Texture that comes in an aerosol can. I followed all of the directions on the can and attempted to spray the spot on my ceiling. When I pressed the switch, a milky substance and then a large glob of white fell out of the can. All of it ran down my arm, hand, clothes and a section of my rug. Not one single drop ever made it to the roof. All of it basically congealed around the spout and then fell off.
I might be able to salvage my clothing but there is a large spot on my carpet in my living room that is discolored and ruined by this product. This product needs to be off the market until the manufacturer ensures that the product can work as promised.
