CVS review: Unethical behavior at pharmacy, mandatory for donation

on jan. 13, 2022, at cvs pharmacy, 250 west 144th st. riverdale, illinois.

i was paying for my perscription of $12.18 using my credit card and i was charge a donation fee. i ask the pharmacy what is this charge and she explain it was a donation fee and stated that when ban on appear and you hit yes, it charges you this fee. i explain i don't want to donate to this and she told me that she could not take the fee off. well i thought that was unfair to demand that i have to make a donation fee, when i don't want to. so she start screaming and hollowing at me that i should learn how to read, however, i never heard of the word ban on. so i feel as though this is a scam to beat customers out of money, if they don't pay attention to what they are paying. so if cvs will continue this pratice, i will stop buying from the pharmacy and store and advice everyone else to do the same.
