On April 27, 2023 and April 28, 2023 I received message texts from the above subject company, supposedly a debt collector on behalf of North Texas Tollway Authority with a phone number [protected] and a URL link http://s-url.pro/CMPay. I did not click on the link, or call the number, because I know it is a scam since I never in my over 50 years of being a licensed driver driven on a Texas toll road. Then too, the nearest Texas toll road to me is over 350 miles away from my Texas South Plains farm and I do well these days to drive 20 miles from home.

Let it be known that I'm all in for a class-action suit against this company for harassment if these bottom-feeding malcontents report anything that damages my close to perfect credit score that I monitor very closely.

HOPEFULLY RESOLVED: Upon receipt of the 2nd text message today, I looked up Credit Management, LP's (CM) phone number in Plano, Texas at their website, called it and spoke to an CM agent. Apparently the texts to me were genuinely from CM but they are seeking a Jose, not my first name but with my last name and telephone number. Although I have had my telephone number for 13 or 14 years now, I was assured that my telephone number has now been removed from the offender (Jose) debt account and that I should not receive any additional text warning from CM. However, I will continue to closely monitor my credit records, and court records, just in case anything else slips by.

In short, Jose had either recently gained my telephone number somehow or CM is trying to collect a false debt from me way beyond the statue of limitations for collection.
