I subscribed for the services from the company Construct A Lead. I used their services within a month, but after I decided to cancel it. I went to their website and cancelled the subscription. But the company continued to charge me for full price. They took $200, and when I called customer services, the agent stated that the subscription was cancelled and money would be returned back. But it was lie, and they continued to charge me. Please, if someone here had the same experience, can you help to return money back?

The FTC does not resolve your individual report, but it uses reports to investigate and bring cases against fraud, scams, and bad business practices. If enough victims come forward, Construct-A-Lead will be held to account.

Too funny. This is from 2014. 10 years ago. No one is monitoring the website. Bunch of losers here.
People still replying to a 2014 review. 2104 - 10 years ago. Pretty simple - ask for refund or go to your bank. You probably owe the money if you did not do that. Most subscription services have what is called auto-renew - ask the company to have you removed from auto renew or ask them not to store your card. pretty simple. read your credit card statements!
This comment isn't valid. Our company signed up for an annual membership. 9 months into that annual membership, we began to see monthly charges at a rate higher than the annual agreement. We have disputed our charges after Construct-A-Lead blamed these charges on a "glitch" but failed to return our money.
People continue to comment on this thread because it is one of the first results when you search for the Construct-A-Lead scam, and victims of these criminals are trying to spread the word (rightfully so).

How in today's technology do you have people complainiing about billinmgs - that's on you. I am guessing these are competitors - Dodge and ConstructConnect. Happens all the tiem. You never believe an online review. Someone is scarred about this service.

The company offers a real service, sure. But it also commits fraud by illegitimately charging customer cards without authorization.

My husband is in a dispute with our credit card company regarding nearly $2000 in fraudulent charges from Construct-A-Lead. Armed with emails from this "company" agreeing that a glitch in their system caused the charges, we will be fighting to the end to stop this. We will be going to our local news organization, news organizations in Illinois (B. uses his personal address as the company address), the state's attorney journal, and the Federal Trade Commission.
I assure anyone who reads this that our complaints are not fake or fraudulent. Indeed, the replies you see from "employees" of this company are their attempts to hide and mislead other consumers. If you are reading this and considering this company's services, please find an alternative. Proceed with extreme caution when doing business online. This experience is so disheartening!
If you have fallen victim to this scam too, I encourage you to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission as well. While the FTC does not individually investigate complaints, they compile them, and if enough people complain, they will proceed with legal action against the company.
Internet Cowboys. Generally it's their own fault. No one take ownership these days.
The company is a scam. While we had their service they double charged us for years. When we complained, they never would credit, until we had to do a chargeback. Finally four years ago we cancelled their service which they confirmed, and for four straight years afterward they keep charging our credit card despite the annual chargebacks and written correspondence.
Funny how [censored]s don't look at their credit card statements.

Most internet reviews these days are fake. Competitors fill reviews with false infromation. Comapnies PAY for positive reviews. I know two companies that pay their employees to write positive reviews about their company. You need to be really careful in believing reviews.

Ignore any positive review from this company. Very obvious they are so crooked that they even spend time to make accounts to try to cancel out any negative review. I had to contact my bank today since nobody ever answers. I canceled by account over a year ago and out of nowhere they continue to charge my card twice a month for ridiculous amounts I NEVER agreed to signed up for. Construct a lead is run by a bunch of scam artists. I can't even log in to the website to see any account info. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY.

This is a quality website.Review from 2014. Everyone is an internet cowboy. Hides behind the internet. MOst reviews online are faked.
Something isn't right here. Why did you not go yo your bank? Aparently you're not telling the entire story or just a competitor writting a a made up story - this happens all the time on these complaint boards. My company had a made up story written about it on this website.
