This company Conrex Is one of the worst companies to deal with
This company Conrex Is one of the worst companies to deal with. They are very unprofessional. Nobody is on the same page. When you contact them to ask them about how this company works nobody knows. They don't return phone calls. You have to stay on the phone for hours trying to reach someone . They lie and tell you that all the Supervisors are all in meetings. I call them about a home in *** Alabama on keep in mind I spoke to 3 different people making sure everyone was telling me the same thing. I spoke with Marie and asked her if Conrex Participate in the HUD Section8 program. She told me yes . I sooke with 2 other personnel and they all said yes. So I paid for my application fees gotten email back that my application had been excepted and being processed. I waited for two weeks gotten know updates I decided to call them. When I called the application department after waiting 2hrs to speak with someone. To only be told that they don't except Section8 in Huntsville Alabama. Which I felt that during the application process when it asked if I had Section8 vouchers and I agreed it should have rejected my application because that home in *** Alabama doesn't except Section8. But instead it allowed me to do the application and pay $110. In application fees. I spoke with someone in their claims department which told me that at this time they are not excepting Section8 in Huntsville Alabama and that they would be refunding my money on4-15-2022 I have not yet been given my money back. Plus they head me up with my vouchers because I only had 30 days to find a place which this company cause me time and plus they kept my application fee money . I was told to allow 5to 7 business days from [protected] and still have not received my $110.00 application fees this company is the WORST! They don't approve people in a timely manner. And they are the worst with communication. I WANT MY APPLICATION FEES RETURNED TO ME ASAP.
I have been with Conrex for 3 years now
I have been with Conrex for 3 years now. Recently, my lease was up and decided to rent month-to-month because I wanted an additional bedroom and the house I reside in has several and repeated issues. Upon searching for another house, I ran across another house that would he perfect for me and my family Conrex has. I reached out to Conrex about the house and was told to apply for the house, which included application fees. I was approved for the house but told the representative that I was not able to enter the premises to see the house. Instead of making sure that I gained access to the house, they rented the house to another applicant after taking my money and saying that I was approved. Through the whole process, I was in contact with Elizabeth *** who is the absolute worse at her job, and expressed my disappointment and anger behind the decision that was made. I also asked her what other options I had and to speak with a supervisor. She totally ignored my request to speak with her supervisor and told me that I had a certain time frame that they would hold the money I spent on the application fees to transfer to another property. Needless to say, nothing came available within that time frame and I was out of my money. I still reside in this trash bag of a house where they want to charge over $1100 in rent and the house has foundation and plumbing issues. The first sign that the house was trash was when a live power line was hanging low in the backyard and the being told that the dishwasher would never work. Then, whomever cleaned and made repairs to the house after the last tenant's move out, painted the bathtub with regular paint! I have requested for the bathroom issue to be resolved and Conrex denied the repairs. I have also made yet another maintenance request about the same issues that I have been having in the house which seems to occur every few months in June and they are just now getting around to make repairs in August. Stay away from this company!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
