I paid final payment to Cassie Hedderich for 4 kittens in May of 2008, I did not get the kittens and only got half my money back. She is scammer and keeps changing her name and has namy screen names and says she lives in different states, so far she has three websites that I know of, says she has no cats but I have some inside information that says she has all her cats living with her and is big time breeding.

Plz do not be fooled by this woman, also there is another lady I know of that did not get her papers on a kitten she cought from Cassie.
I know Cassie and all about her breeding cats. I live in Sedalia also and know of some of the scams she has pulled with selling these cats. She also has a friend that sells bad cats her name is Amy and i believe she is in Indiana. Cassie sells under alot of different names including her boyfriends name and possibly her childrens names. She is not only a con with these cats but in everday life she is always conning someone somewhere. beware of this woman she is bad news all the way around!
Ive been to the arwensfriends cattery many times and have built a DEEP trust for its owner. She has ALWAYS been nothing but kind and upfront with me and has even warned me (( before I ever came across this complaint )) about NEVER dealing with Cassie and the sad death of her kitten. She should in NO WAY be lumped in with those scam artists, she welcomed me into her cattery and has always worn her heart on her sleeve. I urge ANYONE to talk with her, meet her and her cats and you will see she is a great person who puts out STUNNING and healthy kittens she stands behind. Im proud to have my queens studded from her male and cant wait to add one of her precious girls to my own breeding program.

Well you obviously wouldn't state if you were a jerk or scam artist now would you? I'm kidding don't flip out.
This is why I will never purchase an animal online, make the drive guys. Go check out the breeder, the cats, how they are housed and their health. This is the only way to insure you don't get ripped off and it also greatly hurts the business for backyard breeders who don't care about the animals.

and I GOT SCAMMED by Kris or Cassie or whoever she would like to go by... in Nov 2009. I DID NOT KNOWINGLY try to do anything wrong! I bought a kitten from her -- and she told me if I could get a couple other people in Florida to buy one -- she would waive my shipping since she used a ground courier. BAD MISTAKE. I am IN NO NO NO NO way affiliated with her!
The kitten I purchased was a pretty torti girl... and she DIED in my vets office a week or so after arrival! She was thin, lethargic, and diarrhea, and the vet said she was MAYBE 5 weeks... She showed up with WRONG papers and NO health cert! She would not give me money back or anything else. I took my cats to a virologist after I received the torti from her... as it was VERY sick. I spent A LOT of money on that whole mess... and I am SO SORRY that I ever even spoke with her.
PLEASE PLEASE before you post hearsay about someone -- talk to them! I had NO IDEA this was posted... I googled "arwensfriends" to see what came up - as I am revamping my site. This is horrible! and VERY not what it should be. I should NOT be affiliated with this at ALL.

I as well paid for and never recieved a kitten from this breeder she operates under several different fake names so no one can sue her. Please be careful who you do business with over the net. I will never purchase a kitten without meeting the breeder in person and feel comfortable they are not psycho. I have yet to recieve the $1200.00 I paid her for my kitten 2 yrs ago.
I've sit back & watched all these horrible things being said about Cassandra Hedderich, and feel I have to speak up. I bought a kitten from her 1 1/2 years ago, and recently bought a second & they couldn't have been better experiences for me and my family. If indeed she is using other names, I imagine it's because of all the hatefulness directed towards her, not that she is trying to scam anyone. Things being said are very wicked, and if you think about what they are saying, either they're lying, or they're idiots, either way I don't believe any of it. I think Melodiousmom is on target when she said it sounded like rival breeders, (but I think a vindictive ex-friend could also be involved) Cassie treated me with great respect, and was very open & friendly. I have gone to her several times with questions and she always gave me sound advice. I would not hesitate to purchase another kitten from her. The Internet is a wonderful thing when used properly, but anyone can say anything-true or false-without the worry of facing the person they're talking about, that makes some people overly brave. We all know what they say about Karma.
Wow, is almost all I can say ! I just put a deposit on a beautiful wonderful kitten from Raime, she has been very helpful answering my questions and helping me choose the right baby family.She let me into her home and put up with all my silly questions about the mom and the babies, and what I should know when I bring her home. These lies are horrible and from what I see must be from other Sphynx breeders trying to ruin her chances of selling her babies ! Jealousy is ugly ! I will post back when I pick my baby up in a few weeks, and I know this is my first but wont be my only kitten from her !
You might want to watch spewing lies about things you know nothing about. Raime Hancock has a litter of sphynx kittens and-yes - lives in sedalia Mo. She is not Cassandra Hedderich, never has been, never will be. In your effort to get back at one person, you have slandered another. Please be more carefull in the future.
Be aware she is now operating under the name Raime Hancock with the user name shomesphynx on Hoobly website. One site says she is no longer selling, several different names and locations. But she is still operating in Sedalia. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HER! She uses several different names and locations, but it is the same con artist!
She's still selling kittens under the site http://offbroadway.webs.com/ using a different name of Kris. This woman is a con artist.
She no longer advertises on Hobbly under her own name but gets another cattery www.arwensfriends.com to post the classifieds for her.
Avoid at all costs, if your looking to buy a Sphynx avoid any from Sedalia, Missouri as it is her.
