Realtystore.com unauthorized charges to my credit card

An MLS website pushed me to this Realtly Store website when I was searching for homes. The site said for $1.00 they would send me info on foreclosures. So I gave them my credit card. Next thing I know, they billed my credit card $49.60! Just under the amount that requires a signature I guess. Looks like I'm not the only one. What a bunch of lying thieves. Well, you cant live that way for long before you end up burning in hell, so, good luck to all you thieves at Realty Store. You'll cross the wrong person. Here is the transaction on my credit card "REALTYSTORE8666758069 [protected] CA $49.60". Do you notice the phone number? They don't answer. I cancelled my credit card so they can't charge any more to my card. What a world.

i have been scamed by realty store they caused a huge lump sum taken off of my checking account i however did not give anyone permission to collect money off of my account i would truly like my money put back into my checking account

Realtystore.com is nothing but a gang of crooks. If you think for a second that your customer service line allows you to reach a live agent you're delusional. The recording that comes on says that your store is closed and to call back during noraml business hours which is between 7am-7pm p/t yet I'm calling 12pm e/t. I can't cancel if I have no username and password for the e-mail address I used to set up because I didn't set an account up. I agree, this business isn't anything at all but a bunch of crooks, schemers, just dirty people.

Lisa,
The only way we can or would charge any fees to a credit card is through a valid registration process on our website. SOMEONE in your household signed up for our monthly service. Either that, or someone with YOUR credit card, using YOUR name and with access to YOUR email address signed up for our service, so please check with members of your household.

I work at Realty Store.
I just became aware of this post. The first thing I did was test our Customer Service line [protected]). It took me exactly 1min 37 seconds to get a live person on the phone.

So the claim that “they don’t answer” is false.

We treat all complaints seriously as we strive to have only satisfied customers. But we can’t do our job of addressing your concerns if you don’t give us a chance.

Call us. Or email us.
(Contact Us info is on the website and your Welcome emails).

Incidentally, our site terms and promotional materials state clearly that our service costs $49.60 a month, so I’m not sure I understand the nature of your complaint.

They took money out of my account after I canceled. When I called they said that I had to fill out a form and mail it back to them before my account could be credited back. As of today I am still going through the same thing trying to get them to put the money back on my account. Word to the wise, do not use this company

The only way we ever process any fees is if you, or a member of your household, came to our site and signed up for our monthly service. If you have never heard from us, ask your spouse if they signed up for our service. We provide a useful service and charge a fee for it, but we only do so when someone willingly and knowingly goes through our registration process.

If after checking with other members of your household you still have concerns, please contact our Customer Service: [protected].

I have had attempts of charges to my Visa debit card. I have not authorized any charge to be made to my account from the Realty Store.

I should also say that posting a complaint on a web forum that is not in any way related to our site is an inefficient way to get in touch with us. We have contact info on our site and our Customer Service Department is highly responsive. I only found your post by accident, as checking this board is not part of our normal routines.

I went to the bank this afternoon and I have had an unauthorized charge to my account of 49.60. I would very much appreciate that the money will return back into my accont as soon as possible, because it has lead me to have a nagative balance into my account. If this problem cannot be fixed I will report the issue as soon as possible.

Our terms of service clearly state our service has a monthly fee.
When a user signs up they're exposed to this information and asked to confirm they agree.

Realtystore.com Scam

I've never heard of this company, I've never done business with them, and they are billing 39.80 to my visa account on Capital One every month. I've just spend 40 minutes having to deal with Capital One on this Scam, having to be tied to my phone line, because I have to stay on the line for them to dispute the charges.

Realtystore.com Refund

I have never register for RealtyStore membership and
I have never used RealtyStore Service, but I have been
charged $39.80 p/month to my Visa account from
07/14/08 till 05/14/09 for $437.80
I sent Application to RealtyStore for refunding on 5/27/09, but I have no respond.

shady business that has been given permission to keep charging a card once you sign up for a seven day trial but they obviously put in very fine print that you will continue getting charged $49.60 every month. I contacted them as soon as I saw charge and was sent an email to "file" for a refund but the link did not work so I have to assume that after reading how all of these other people have been ripped of by this shady realty store I am also going to be victimized by them. sad, sad, sad that the government lets these rip off companies get away with this practice of automatically charging peoples cards. something needs to be done about them and FAST!

I have requested before my trial was due to cancel my account. I am no longer in need of it, and I received an email after my cancellation and did not agree to continue the 7 day trial at a lower rate.
I need to be unsubscribe and leave this site/link that I do not use after verbally calling to cancel and email my cancellation response too. That is when they offer me a lower rate because I was closing out the account as I mention above; but I declined the that offer as we. I would kindly like to please request refund my last charges of 49.60 on 5/21/2013 when I had already closed my account with Realty Store, and until finally today one of your agents returned my call and asked me to request the refund in writing in order to receive the full amount. His name is Eddie, and explained if I cancel over the phone; the refund would be pro rated but in I request it in writing I would benefit the full credit refund. I mentioned to him that I do not have a complain against the Realty, I just have no need anymore. Thank you in advance for the so waited explanation and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me by phone or email.

Do not get involved with this company. They are scammers and a fraud. I paid $1.00 for 30 trial, but now they have no record I canceled but they could tell I only used it one day. This company should do the right thing without being told!

I ANITA HAD SIGNED UP FOR THE PROGRAM AND THEY WERE TAKING THE MONEY IN AMOUNT OF 49.00 AND I WAS ANGURY THE LAST 3 MONTHS AND I FINALLY CALLED AND YES THEY PUT IN BACK ON CARD AND THE GUY TOLD ME THAT THE LAST 2 MONTHS THEY WERE GOING TO SEND ME A LETTER IN MAIL TO PUT THE OTHER AMOUNT ON CARD BUT I HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING SO I CALLED TODAY AND THE LADY TOKLD ME TO DO THE LETTER ON COMPUTER THAT REALLY STINKS IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ON COMPUTERS EVERYTHING NOW IS ALL ON STUPID COMPUTERS, I AM NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THEM AT ALL. I did sign up for a $1 7 day trial membership, and while my bank paid the fee, I have been repeatedly denied access to the site - I only pray they do not continue to charge me, that would be tragic - I think realtystore is a sham!

Realtystore.com Illegal charges on credit card

I completely agree, stay away from this company. They use shady practices in order to steal money from unsuspecting people. I've just reviewed my bank statements and found yet another $49.60 charge. My husband swears he called and cancelled after the first fraudulent charge. But yet here it is again. This company is exhorting money from two naive young adults, who don't make much money, and have in fact already bought a house. I will be sure to let my friends and family to stay away from the money hungry sad excuse for a business. Very upset! I want my money back so I can pay my mortgage! I don not remember ever using this service in the first place!

9/30/2024 I clicked on the link to Realty Store. tried looking up house but was told to try free trial. I never consented or gave my credit card info. I wasn't interested in paying for this service. I did not realize these charges until this month. I never used the site as I am sure they can see. I have spoke to 3 different people

I've been calling and emailing this company for past 2 months to cancel the membership that I only had free trial for. I've been charged twice already. The phone number is now no longer in service. This company is a scam.

I went thru the trial, received 15 numbers paid $149.00 NONE OF THE LEADS WERE ANY GOOD! Not one lead came from the 15 numbers therefore I just have money with no return.

I Agree This Company Is A Scam They Trick You Into Thinking You Canceled Only Yet To Find Another $49.97 Charge On Your Card. Terrible site. Clearly I signed up for some sort of temp membership at one point, possibly even kept it for the first month. I'm confident that I tried to cancel. I didn't realize they kept charging me $50 per month because it goes to a card I seldom use that is on auto pay. I called them today to discuss a refund and the gentleman on the phone told me there were no refunds. When I told him I would dispute it with my card company he said that "we record our calls and you said that you signed up for a membership", or something to the effect. When I continued to complain and informed him that I ALSO record my calls to companies like this he offered me one month refund. In my opinion this site does not operate above board. I will be doing what I can to get my $$ back.

I also have NEVER even been to this site, nor am I looking to buy a home! I am BEYOND furious! I have waited on hold for about 20 mins twice and have never been connected to a customer service rep, because I'm guessing there isn't any and this is a fake ### bs site! I'm sooo angry and will be reporting this site if I can ever ###ing find it! Some people work hard for their money and plan very strictly on where they spend it, get a job or a life you ###ing ###s!
