Con Man watch out will take your money and leave job site and never come back, Pushes you into things you don't want, will steal materials from your job site for other jobs, fast talker and vague estimates so he can CON you, Wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. Wife is a liar right along with him no good people just waiting to scam you! They are willing at first but then screw you bad in the end along with terrible construction skills and the poorest quality of materials. The pictures are all fake on his site he just drove around and took some pictures and claim them as ones he built, I would not let him on the place and you will be sooo far ahead!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

If anybody is looking for Larry Paul he is in and has been in the pinellas county jail in Florida since June of 2019. I filed a case and the state arrested him. He is coming up to the end of the time that he can be in jail on my case so if anybody would like to lodge a complaint against him and has the documentation to back it up please file with the state ASAP. My understanding as he will be going back to Wisconsin or Minnesota.
He has been working in the Largo, Indian Rocks Beach, FL area. BEWARE! He didn't finish the Job that we agreed on and when he was questioned on a few things he had his scamming excuses. We have/had many questions and concerns with his work that he did do. As stated in the thread here he did exactly that. Built our shed the way he wanted it, using the poorest quality of materials. Not what we agreed on. I knew the day he left our property with unfinished work to be done that we probably would not be seeing him again. Sure enough! He was to install windows in the shed and at the last min informed us that he could not find any in the area. I told him I will purchase the windows and he can come back and install them when they arrive. I had the windows delivered 1 week after this escapade. I contacted Larry to set up a time for him and his partner "HUFF" to complete the job. This is what I got in return "I moved back to Minnesota you're gonna have to get somebody else to finish it". Wow! My reply to him was "Hmmm we thought you were from WisCONsin". He directed us to his son Jon Paul who might be working out of Indian rocks beach area. We have started doing research and that is when this thread appeared 1st article when you type in his phone #. Lesson learned.
Watch Out FLORIDA! The SOB is here now and just took us for the better part of $60K. Donita Crow furnished "contracts" and she is as much as a scam artist as he is. I have filed criminal complaints, civil complaints, etc. This is on-going. Just STAY AWAY FROM LARRY PAUL, JON PAUL - his son who is in on it all, Donita Crow. He is scamming here under 1RRConstruction, R&R Construction and Larry Paul. His is licensed in NOTHING but he is a PROFESSIONAL THIEF.
Yes he is a scammer! I am a general contractor in Minnesota where he tried to scam me, but the contract I had him sign before he began working saved me.
I hired Larry in 2015 to complete and addition and he was a fraud. He talked a good story and did all of the things others complained about above. The inspectors new all above Larry and what he had done to others not on this list. Larry goes by R&R Construction, R&R Remodeling, and R2 Framing. All are listed as LLC, but none of them are registered. Larry is not registered as a framer either in the State of Minnesota at the time of this post. Not recommended!
This sounds exactly like how their company operates. They scammed us too and are still out there looking for new people to scam. I would never do business with this man, ever!
Did Larry pull permits? Was his agreement 50% down? That is high for any contractor...so I am curious. Have you checked with Wisc BBB?

I paid Larry Paul $61, 588 to build a sunroom and deck. He has walked out on the job and I have a bow window and a plant window that were never delivered to me. I have yet to see 11 screens for my sunroom windows. He does not return phone calls. I live in Bloomington, Minnesota and I do know that he is from Menomonie, Wisconsin. I just found out that he has been involved with contract fraud in the past. Can anyone help me? I am not sure what to do. He never gave me a copy of the contract I signed and he is unable to be found. I am desperately in need of advice and/or help. Thanks for reading this.
