While watching a tech doing an oil change on my car recently, I noticed that he wiped off my old oil filter instead of changing it.(He didn't notice me watching him).When i confronted him he denied not changing my filter and produced and old filter obviously not from my car as evidence that he had.I also spoke to the so called "Manager" and he dismissed my complaint and asked me to pay my bill and leave.I will NOT be back.

I had an experience there on my Nissan pathfinder somewhat like yours only in my case the large cheerful guy could not fit his arm up to my filter after he had drained the oil out but he did try from all directions but had no luck so he said well the oil was pretty clean to start with so he added new synthetic stuff and told me to slip him a twenty and we could call it even, so I was not to upset with it but I see what you mean cleaning one off is wrong in many ways. maybe next time ask him for the cash deal

One October 6th, 2009 I visited the Pro Lube LTD location in Bowness. I first inquired if they could do an oil change, transmission and differential oil and radiator flush. I was told they could do the oil change the transmission and differential. The mechanic under my truck was complaining and swearing about having to do the transmission oil. I suggested I take my business else where and got out of my truck to see if there was a problem. The mechanic who was under my truck ran from down below waving a tire iron in my face and saying if I want to be a tough guy and get out of my truck he will *uck me up! He continued to swear and curse at me as I tried to defuse the situation. The other mechanic who was originally working up top just stood by and watched this all take place. The mechanic who was threatening me and waving a tire iron in my face then left and so did I. It was a truly unbelievable situation
I have really had hit or miss service in there, I do not care for the owner much he just seems to be too greasy to me sorta reminds me of an old version of Joey Jeremiah as a used car sales man, that big monster of a guy is nice if he ever shuts up but he seems like a good person to deal with, there was a short young kid working under my van last time and he had a hell of a mouth on him but as far as I can see everything was changed under the hood now if any of them could do the math right and add 5000 km and three months proper for my sticker I would be impressed.
