fake id
I submitted an order about a month ago. It took them about 3 days to respond. I had some problems with my order and resent them the things they asked for. They didn't get back to me until 2 weeks later. After they finally sent me my videos, they said they'd be able to ship my order the next day. Once I submitted my payment they were unresponsive. I wanted to buy two novelty id's but I wanted a duplicate in a different state. At first thought about going with another site because they offered to replace my id if it was lost. Pimp my Fakes said they don't do that, but they said if I bought one id and they would make another for free if I agreed to post reviews once I got the id's.
FYi the other site wants payment upfront andthey don't send you a video either. So i went with pimpmyfak.es.
First I just wanna say this:
They didn't pay me to leave this review.
They didn't tell me what to say or what not to say, they told me to be honest. They game me a list of sites to post the review and asked me to upload a photo.
They did ask me to post my review on the facebook page, but i don't really feel comfortable with everybody on my page knowing i have a fake.
The good: My friend has a real Arizona id and side by side their exact. I ahve a real california ID and their is very little difference between my real ID and the fake. The color on my real cal ID is slightly lighter, but that could just because its faded.
The bad: Well not really bad but shipping took longer because i chose the standard shipping. I should have gone with the upgrade because it finally arrived about 2 weeks after I orderd. Which is still technically when they said it would arrive with weekends.
Also, when they emailed me the id video it showed the scans. I was curious, so I scanned the back of my Arizona id with a document scanner. Then I cropped out only the barcode thing and saved it as a jpeg.
Then I uploaded online to a free barcode decoder site, and the readout is exactly what they showed me in the video. That made me feel better about using it. Ive used it twice now. The first time i was really nervous, but the clerk just looked at it for like a second and rang up my stuff. The 2nd time was at a store near my house. This time I used the california id. They guy really looked at for a long time. He swiped it and handed it back to me. So it worked but i was still worried.
When i got home i realized i forgot to scuff up the ID like they told me to. It looks brand new but the issue date says 2010 so that's probably why it looked sketchy. The guys at Pimpmy fakes told me to use some steel wool, so i need to get some of that.
Anyway so far so good. In my experience they have been professional and upfront and i would recommend their services to anyone worried about a scam. Once I save up enough i'm for sure getting the new cal id.
@ bellamie, actually you're wrong. they had no guarantee I was going to post reviews. They asked me to and they even said if you buy one, we'll give you a free ID in the HOPES you would post reviews. I could of just walked.
They didn't tell me what to say, they just said cover your eyes and info. They told me where to post the reviews because I dont know that stuff.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
