Early February I had received an sms regarding taking an affordable loan of R50 000 of which few days later I decided to contact Ocean Finance regarding the matter. I contacted the office on [protected] and [protected] and [protected] to get full details on what's needed.
A lady by the name Portia answered the phne and I asked her that I had received an sms regarding a loan what's the procedure.
She then told me to send my pay slip and copy of id.
I was then asked to pay R2000 of which they call as an insurance"""".
After I had paid that amount I was then told by Richard and John to pay another amount of R2850", that's when I asked why am Ipaying for this amount and they said this is a cost of transfer amount, after paying for this amount I sent them the proof of payment but still did not receive the loan as they promised and please NOTE: they sent a letter saying definately th money will be in my account.
When I contacted the office they said I need to pay R2300 for Maintanaince and R1980 for Monthly service fee of which they claimed thay its refundable.
After paying for these 2 amounts STILL no payment was done, then again they told me to pay R5600 of which I refused to pay, then they told me I'm holding the process up and started shouting at me.
To my suprise if you ask them their address they never disloce their information but instead theyll ask you for your id number.
Please assist with this matter because a lot of people in JHB have lost their money due to this scam.
Please note that these people are based in Braamfontein in JHB - [protected].
I also applied for a loan from ocean finance in sandton, had to pay r500 for fees and then all of a sudden they wanted r700 for tax clearance (which I didn't pay). I requested proof for the tax clearance and asked my r500 back. they are ignoring me.
I have already paid them R10 000 already simply because im desparate. They myst be stopped and whats is their address in Braamfontein?

I have experienced the same thing as the above client and i have left them for a few months and no contact from them, i have decided to call today and claim my money back but Richard than tells me to pay a cancellation fee and a lawyers fee and started screaming at me like its his money that is gone . Kindly please take this matter up aqs these frauds need to be behind bars and pay all our money back .
