Natural Reader Natural Reader: The Best Text to Speech Program I've Used in 3 Years

I've gotta say, I've been using Natural Reader from naturalreaders.com for over 3 years now and it's easily the best text to speech program I've tried out of the 10+ others I've given a shot. I mean, let's be real here. Some people just can't read, am I right? But with this program, it's like having a personal assistant reading everything to you--articles, emails, novels--you name it.

Now, I know there are some folks out there who are complaining about the subscription fees, but come on now. It's clearly stated on the website and there's a reason behind them. Plus, you can demo test any voice before committing or just use the free voices FOREVER. So, there's really no excuse to complain about that.

I stumbled upon this review page by accident, but seeing some of these comments, I had to chime in. Don't listen to the other idiots. This program is the bee's knees, the cat's meow, the... well, you get the point.

So, whether you're someone who struggles with reading or you just want a break from staring at a screen all day, give Natural Reader a shot. You won't regret it.

Natural Reader Natural Reader Review: Great Voices & Features, But Buyer Beware

I try out Natural Reader's free trial version and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use. I then decided to upgrade to the commercial version for a month, which cost me a hundred bucks. At first, everything was hunky-dory and I was enjoying the natural-sounding voices and the ability to convert a range of text files into speech. However, after just four days, I was suddenly unable to access the site. When I contacted their support team, they informed me that it could be my firewall or virus protection causing the issue. However, even after trying to access the site from a different computer in a different location, as well as via my phone's mobile data, I still couldn't get in. Needless to say, I feel ripped off and may be out of a hundred dollars for a service that I can't even access. So, just a heads up that you may want to be cautious before committing to this particular text-to-speech service.

Natural Reader Mixed Feelings about NaturalReader: Ease of Use vs. Lack of Natural Inflection and Slow Customer Service

I recently tried NaturalReader and I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, I appreciated the ease of using the product. It was simple to convert digital text into spoken words, and it was convenient to choose from a variety of voices. However, on the other hand, I found that the voices lacked natural inflection and intonation. Listening to it for long periods of time became tiring to the ears.

Another downside was the slow response time for customer service. After sending several emails back and forth, I still did not receive a satisfactory answer to my inquiry. It was disappointing to not have a phone number to contact, as it would have made the process much quicker.

Overall, NaturalReader has potential as a tool for those with visual impairments or difficulties reading, but improvements need to be made in order to provide a more natural and easy-to-listen experience. I hope that customer service will also receive attention in the near future, as it is a crucial part of ensuring customer satisfaction.

Natural Reader Natural Reader Review: A Star Minus Experience for Online Classes

Natural Reader is not a good website to use for online classes. I gave it one star, but to be honest, I really think it deserves a STAR MINUS. I decided to give it a chance last year and subscribed to the service. I thought that it would help me with my online classes. I was wrong. The website didn't give me what I needed and it became useless for me. So, I went to the Natural Reader website and canceled my subscription. It was all done. I didn't worry about anything anymore.

But that's when it started getting worse. After 11 months, I received an email from Natural Reader telling me that my subscription was about to be renewed. I was like no, I already canceled it. So I tried logging in to double check my subscription status. And surprised! My email wasn't recognized by the system. Then I thought no worries I have canceled it. But the next thing I received was an invoice saying that I had been successfully billed. I was really furious; this is not the kind of service anyone deserves.

This was the last straw for me. On Monday, I started searching for the Better Business Bureau and anyone else whom I could talk to about this frustrating experience. It's understandable that mistakes can happen in any service provider field, but that doesn't mean the customers have to bear them. If Natural Reader cannot provide the service properly, then it should consider refunding the customer's money. Overall, I had a very bad experience with Natural Reader, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Natural Reader Natural Reader Pro Review: From Lifesaver to Greedy Junk

I have been using Natural Reader since 2013. It has been a lifesaver for me as I struggle with dyslexia and have trouble reading long texts. The best thing that has happened to me was when I got my hands on the Natural Reader Pro for my iPhone around 2015. I didn't mind paying for it and even forked out some extra cash for the additional voices. I used it every single day, and it helped me stay on top of my reading.

However, I recently upgraded my phone, and to my horror, I learned that the Natural Reader Pro had been discontinued. What's more, the company has become purely greedy, trying to get you to pay a monthly subscription fee and deleting your files after just one year! What kind of BS is that? This app has become nothing but junk. They "improved" it by eliminating the ability to transfer content from the Natural Reader on my desktop to my phone using a simple QR code.

No more file retention, and I don't care to see what other "improvements" they've made that are screwing people over. It's become a total waste of time and money. I'm saying goodbye to Natural Reader. It's a piece of crap!

Natural Reader Natural Reader Review: A Busted Software That Doesn't Work

So, about Natural Reader. I'll tell you what, I was excited to try it out. You see, I'm not much of a reader myself, so I was hoping this software could help me out. After all, I hear it can read any text you want it to - in a variety of different voices! So, I went to the website and clicked on the "Online Reader" option. And what did I get? "Something must have gone wrong." Well, no kidding! How am I supposed to use this thing if it can't even work on a basic level?

Now, I know what you're thinking. Maybe it's just my computer, right? Wrong. I've tried using it on different devices, different browsers, and nothing seems to work. And I'm not the only one, either. I've seen plenty of reviews from other folks who have had the exact same issue. So, it's not just me, folks. This software is just plain busted.

I tried reaching out to the company to see if they could help me out. And what did I get? Silence. Not even a courtesy email to let me know they were looking into the issue. Nothing. It's like they don't even care about their customers. And that doesn't exactly instill confidence, does it?

Look, I'm not a particularly tech-savvy person. But I know enough to recognize when something just plain doesn't work. And Natural Reader? It doesn't work. It's a shame, really. Because if it did work, it could be an amazing tool. I mean, imagine being able to have anything you want read out loud to you - emails, articles, even books! But as it is, this software is just a waste of time. And that's a shame, if you ask me.

Natural Reader Disappointed Customer Seeking Refund for Natural Readers Subscription

Dear Natural Readers Team,

I have to say, I was really excited to try out your product and see what it could do. Sadly, my experience has been a bit of a let down. I paid for a subscription and honestly, it's been a struggle. I mean, I've had some pretty high expectations but it looks like this subscription was a big, fat F-loser. I was really holding out hope that you guys could match up to my expectations but clearly this was not the case.

To make matters worse, when I tried to get in touch with your customer service team, my first email simply went missing. Like, where did it go? Did it get eaten by the email monster? I don't know. I do know that I'm really not happy with having to send a second email asking for my refund but clearly I had no other option. It's just not cool that I had to do that. Not cool at all.

Now I know that $58.99 may not seem like a lot to some people but let me tell you- it's not that easy for me to throw money around like that. I was really hoping to get some value out of this subscription, but it just did not deliver. I'm just really unsatisfied with the whole experience to be honest.

I honestly don't want to deal with any kind of discount or rebate, if I'm being completely honest. I just want my money back and to be done with this. It would really be appreciated if you guys could handle this in a professional manner and process my refund as soon as possible. It's only fair, right?

I really hope you take this feedback seriously and take some steps to improve your product and service. It's not just about me- you should be respecting everyone who buys from you. Anyway, if things don't change, I might just have to let people know how I feel about you on your website's review section.

Sincerely,
A disappointed but hopeful customer

Natural Reader Disappointing Support and Voices: My Review of Natural Reader's Text to Speech Capabilities

I wanted to give Natural Reader a try for my work as I have heard about its text to speech capabilities. However, I have been quite disappointed with their support team. Every time I reach out to them with queries about the product, they send me the end user agreement document which doesn't provide any helpful information regarding the security risks associated with using this product. I specifically requested a third-party risk assessment and they couldn't provide me with any formal assessments or certifications.

The website itself is bare bones when it comes to security information, leaving me to wonder how protected my company documents will be with their cloud-based storage system.

On to the product itself, I have to say that most of the voices offered by Natural Reader are quite horrible and irritating. The only exception is the one British voice. While the text to speech capabilities is okay, I can't give it more than 2 stars as the voices are just too awful to bear.

I even requested for a support team member with more technical knowledge to get in touch with me, but I haven't received any response from them. All in all, I'm quite disappointed with the product and the lackluster support. I doubt I'll be able to use this product for my work.

Natural Reader Natural Reader Review: Quirks and Cool Features with Conversation Control and Multiple Computer Installations

I've been using Natural Reader for a while now and I have to say, it's a pretty neat program. I've got the 15 Professional version, which comes with this feature called Conversation Control. Basically, it gives you the ability to insert different voices for different sentences. I mean, how cool is that? However, I have to admit that it can be a bit tedious to use. You have to insert the voice control for each individual sentence, so it can take a while to get a whole paragraph sounding the way you want it to.

I did run into a bit of trouble with Natural Reader recently. The computer that I originally had it installed on ended up crashing. So, I installed it on another computer, but when I went to the website to check my account, I noticed that it was no longer active. I reached out to Natural Reader's tech support to see what was going on, but they told me that I had it installed on two computers. I explained that the original computer had crashed, but they didn't really seem to believe me. Unfortunately, this means that I can no longer receive tech support or log in to my account.

All in all, Natural Reader is a pretty cool program, but it's not without its quirks. The Conversation Control feature can be a bit of a pain to use, but it's still really neat. Just be careful with how many computers you have it installed on!

Natural Reader Natural Reader Review: Pros and Cons for a Writer and Bookworm

This new software that I discovered, Natural Reader (naturalreaders.com), is a good tool, but it takes a lot of work to ensure that your text sounds natural when read aloud. If you are a writer, bookworm, or someone who needs to proofread their text, this software could help you. However, before you start using it, some critical issues should be addressed.

For example, if you have a clause that is separated by two M-dashes, which is quite common in literature, the software won't give you any pause. I had to turn all my M-dashes into semicolons to get a pause. Additionally, if you are converting your text into MP3, there are two annoying problems that you should be aware of. First, there are no pauses for a line-break, which can make your text sound unnatural. You have to add a period and a space at the end of every title, bullet list item, or poem line, in order for the software to read it naturally. Second, you can only make an MP3 with 20 pages or less, which can be frustrating if you are trying to read a long novel from Gutenberg. This can make your work tedious, and it may not be worth the effort.

It is surprising that you actually have to pay for this software when you could turn a Gutenberg novel into a computer-read audiobook on a Mac for free, without these annoying problems. However, Natural Reader has some advantages such as the voices being very nice. If you have a bunch of time to prep your text, download small sections of a novel, and then join them together into a single file, go for it. But if you were looking for something to save you time, this tool may not be the best option.

Overall, this software has potential, but it does require a lot of work to achieve the desired effect. If you are willing to dedicate the time to prep your text, this software could be helpful for you. However, if you need a tool that will save you time, you may want to look elsewhere.

Natural Reader Unhappy with Natural Reader's Billing Practices - Beware of Hidden Charges!

I don't like Natural Reader. They charge my credit card every month without telling me clear what the conditions are for this. It's not cool. I had to sort it out with my bank and dispute the charge. It's a hassle and I don't recommend it. Stay away from this site if you don't want to deal with unclear charges on your credit card.

Natural Reader Mixed feelings about Natural Reader: great functionality, wonky voices

Natural Reader ain't that great, to be honest. The voices are all wonky and sound weird when you finally get the audio downloaded. And don't even get me started on the Premium plan. Ain't no good voices there, no sir. You gotta get the Plus if you want anything worth listening to.

But overall, it's alright for what it is. Sure, you gotta deal with some less-than-great voices, but it does the job if you need something read out loud. Maybe it's not the best app out there, but it gets the job done.

Natural Reader Game-changing app for reading struggles but customer support a headache

I gotta say, I've been using Natural Reader for a while now and it's been a real game changer for me. As someone who struggles with reading long blocks of text, this app has really helped me keep up with my studies and work.

That being said, my recent experience with their customer support has been a bit of a headache. I've been trying to dispute a monthly charge for a yearly subscription that was supposed to be cancelled in the first month. It's been tough trying to get in touch with them, and they don't seem to have a page where I can remove or update my payment information.

I'd still recommend this site for its amazing text-to-speech capabilities, but if you're going to spend money on it, just be aware that you might have some trouble with their refund policies.

Natural Reader Natural Reader Software Review: Unstable and Dangerous, Don't Waste Your Time or Risk Your Computer

Listen here folks, I highly recommend you do not even think about downloading this software called Natural Reader from naturalreaders.com. I am not playing around when I say this software is so unstable it might as well be balancing on a tightrope. And to top it off, the functionality advertised is a complete lie. It's like this thing is stuck in alpha mode forever or something.

The website made it seem like this program would make your life easier, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I mean, who knows what kind of nasty viruses are lurking within this thing. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a fancy Trojan horse trying to worm its way into your system. I've seen it happen before.

I foolishly tried using this software on my Mac and all it did was crash repeatedly. I had to force quit the program nearly every time I attempted to use it. It's definitely not what it seems or what the website advertised it to be.

However, I am willing to give it one more shot. This time on a PC. I'll see if it works any better and get back to you all on that. But until then, do yourself a favor and stay far away from Natural Reader. It's just not worth the headache and potential danger to your computer.

Natural Reader Natural Reader Review: Too Expensive for Mediocre Voices and Usability

Natural Reader is just aight. Like yeah you can convert text to speech and all that and it's pretty easy to use (except sometimes it doesn't start reading when you hit play, ya know?). But the thing is, for $20 a month, I was expecting more. The voices are fine but they're not amazing or anything. Actually, I have this free app on my phone that has better voices than Natural Reader.

Don't get me wrong, Natural Reader is fine if you don't have any other options, but I feel like it's too expensive for what it offers. Also, one thing that really bugs me is that whenever I use it, I always have to find where I left off from the last time I had it read text. Like, with some of the free apps I've used, it's a lot easier to just pick up where you left off.

Overall, I just think that Natural Reader isn't worth the price. You can find better options out there for free, ya know? But I mean if you're really set on using it, it's not bad or anything. It's just not amazing.

Natural Reader Disappointed with Natural Reader 16's Online Dependence and Hard-to-Use MP3 Converter

I use Natural Reader and I like it. I used NR15 on my old computer and I thought it was good. I could use it offline and make mp3s pretty easy. It had some helpful tools too. Now I have NR16 and I can't use it without being online and logged in, which is annoying. The mp3 converter is very hard to use, even if I'm online. I don't use it very often because it feels like a downgrade, not an upgrade.
