Unhappy with Natural Reader's Billing Practices - Beware of Hidden Charges!
I don't like Natural Reader. They charge my credit card every month without telling me clear what the conditions are for this. It's not cool. I had to sort it out with my bank and dispute the charge. It's a hassle and I don't recommend it. Stay away from this site if you don't want to deal with unclear charges on your credit card.
Mixed feelings about Natural Reader: great functionality, wonky voices
Natural Reader ain't that great, to be honest. The voices are all wonky and sound weird when you finally get the audio downloaded. And don't even get me started on the Premium plan. Ain't no good voices there, no sir. You gotta get the Plus if you want anything worth listening to.
But overall, it's alright for what it is. Sure, you gotta deal with some less-than-great voices, but it does the job if you need something read out loud. Maybe it's not the best app out there, but it gets the job done.
Disappointment with Natural Reader on Mac: Virus Alert for Nukestep
So, I was real excited to try out Natural Reader on my Mac. I heard some good things about it and since I be struggling with reading for a bit now, I thought I give it a try. But who would have thought that the app I thought would help me would actually give me a whole lotta problem! I mean, when I installed it, my virus checkers they went wild. They all said that the app was housing this nasty thing - Nukestep. And let me tell you, they didn't waste a second before telling me to get rid of the whole thing. I be pretty bummed out to say the least. I mean, I just wanted to read some stuff, not mess up my whole Mac!

Natural Reader Disappoints: Robotic Voices and Inaccurate Readings - Not Worth It
i gotta be honest, i aint too impressed with natural reader. they only give you 5 minutes to test it out and then you gotta pay up. once you do though, it dont live up to what you had hoped. the voices sound pretty robotic and it aint perfect at reading out loud. i had to go back and fix a bunch of stuff it messed up. overall, i wouldnt recommend it. theres gotta be better options out there.
Program Charges Extra for Audio Conversion - Beware!
So, I've been using this program for a couple years now and I gotta say, I was pretty ticked off when they started charging me to convert text to audio outta nowhere. Like, seriously? I paid for the same plan and they're gonna try and squeeze more money out of me? Not cool, man. Just be careful if you're thinking about using this program, 'cause they might try and pull a fast one on ya.
Game-changing app for reading struggles but customer support a headache
I gotta say, I've been using Natural Reader for a while now and it's been a real game changer for me. As someone who struggles with reading long blocks of text, this app has really helped me keep up with my studies and work.
That being said, my recent experience with their customer support has been a bit of a headache. I've been trying to dispute a monthly charge for a yearly subscription that was supposed to be cancelled in the first month. It's been tough trying to get in touch with them, and they don't seem to have a page where I can remove or update my payment information.
I'd still recommend this site for its amazing text-to-speech capabilities, but if you're going to spend money on it, just be aware that you might have some trouble with their refund policies.
Disappointing Experience with Native Reader: Not Worth the Price Tag
So, I was figuring out a way to solve my problem with Speechtify and then I stumbled upon Native Reader at naturalreaders.com. I thought it might help me solve my issue with Speechtify. I thought, why not give it a try? I put in my money - $129 to be precise- and waited for the software to download. But you know what? It didn't! It was a total bummer my dudes. As a result, I am planning on contacting customer support tomorrow to ask for a full refund and, man, I hope I get it. This whole situation is so frustrating. I don't recommend wasting your time or money on this thing.
Natural Reader Software Review: Unstable and Dangerous, Don't Waste Your Time or Risk Your Computer
Listen here folks, I highly recommend you do not even think about downloading this software called Natural Reader from naturalreaders.com. I am not playing around when I say this software is so unstable it might as well be balancing on a tightrope. And to top it off, the functionality advertised is a complete lie. It's like this thing is stuck in alpha mode forever or something.
The website made it seem like this program would make your life easier, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I mean, who knows what kind of nasty viruses are lurking within this thing. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a fancy Trojan horse trying to worm its way into your system. I've seen it happen before.
I foolishly tried using this software on my Mac and all it did was crash repeatedly. I had to force quit the program nearly every time I attempted to use it. It's definitely not what it seems or what the website advertised it to be.
However, I am willing to give it one more shot. This time on a PC. I'll see if it works any better and get back to you all on that. But until then, do yourself a favor and stay far away from Natural Reader. It's just not worth the headache and potential danger to your computer.
Natural Reader Review: Too Expensive for Mediocre Voices and Usability
Natural Reader is just aight. Like yeah you can convert text to speech and all that and it's pretty easy to use (except sometimes it doesn't start reading when you hit play, ya know?). But the thing is, for $20 a month, I was expecting more. The voices are fine but they're not amazing or anything. Actually, I have this free app on my phone that has better voices than Natural Reader.
Don't get me wrong, Natural Reader is fine if you don't have any other options, but I feel like it's too expensive for what it offers. Also, one thing that really bugs me is that whenever I use it, I always have to find where I left off from the last time I had it read text. Like, with some of the free apps I've used, it's a lot easier to just pick up where you left off.
Overall, I just think that Natural Reader isn't worth the price. You can find better options out there for free, ya know? But I mean if you're really set on using it, it's not bad or anything. It's just not amazing.
Disappointed with Natural Reader 16's Online Dependence and Hard-to-Use MP3 Converter
I use Natural Reader and I like it. I used NR15 on my old computer and I thought it was good. I could use it offline and make mp3s pretty easy. It had some helpful tools too. Now I have NR16 and I can't use it without being online and logged in, which is annoying. The mp3 converter is very hard to use, even if I'm online. I don't use it very often because it feels like a downgrade, not an upgrade.
