Mezza9 Restaurant - Pune / We found chicken pieces in vegetarian food!

Today we went Mezza9 Restaurant, Opp. KPIT, Hinjewadi, Pune for team lunch.First we ordered soup they served it and we found few chicken pieces in it. So bring it to the service staff and manager of the restaurant. After that we ordered for pure vegetarian food. But again they served a vegetable dish with chicken. This has happened during ganesh festivals. It hurt my religious sentiments deeply.

    Same exp. when we went today for Team lunch..

    Pathetic quality of service... Today was the last time i went there for sure... NO MEZZA9 hence forth...

    Very rude and pathetic behaviour of the service staff persons. No sense of customer interaction.

    I agree with you all. They just don't have hospitality manners and running hospitality business. The caption there has a mysterious personality like a villain in a bond movie. He just can not smile and always has tired expressions. This fellow will simply ignore you and if he is in an okay mood, will ask you in a very rude manner "May I help you". Of course no one would ask him for "help" next time.

    The ambience is good, but the staff (including manager) is too bad. One can not enjoy food with such service and attitude.

    Just avoid MEZZA9

    I, Mahendranath Mundhara, am a citizen of India and have been a follower of "VAISHNAV" way of living since childhood which means that i have never ever eaten onions and garlic.

    Sir, but today when me and my family were out for a dinner with my brother-in-law and his family at "GREEN PARK" restaurant at Baner and we had ordered a "Butter paneer masala-Jain" along with other dishes ...but the irony was that we were served a "butter chicken" and when repeatedly checked for, it was confirmed by them to be the butter paneer masala-jain .And then when we complained about this to the manager of the restaurant, instead of a appology we were agrued with, that we had ordered the butter chicken and then at the end offered a free of cost dinner ;trying to manipulate us like we were small kids and eating chicken was just our normal meal.But Sir I and my family are strict followers and this has certainly hurt our sentiments and religious ethics and it would take a long time to overcome it.

    Sir, i just want to convey this message to u that these restaurant owners are playing with the sentiments of people who follow a certain kind of rule to keep there culture alive. And just because of their mistake or ignorance, people like us have to pay the price of our ethics which is above everything.

    It would be your goodself to take in considersation our grief.

    It was my first and last time to Mezza9 at Hinjewadi. At 7:00 pm I had snacks and pay the bill with good tip to staff. There were no much customers around. I was just crossing the gate and found I forgot to pick up my handset from table. So I returned to table and found it was not there and switched off by culprit staff member.
    After an hour, I asked to staff, they were apologies about it because they had seen that my handset was on table itself. I waste my 1 hour time and the Captain reported they don’t have my handset.

    I had an interview and so couldn’t able to go to the Police. Even I was not able to contact the interviewee due to lost of all contacts with handset.
    How anybody will feel after loosing the valuables at Mezza9 ……?

    Strongly Agree with bad staff and service... more Importantly VERY BAD DINING EXPERIENCE.
    I was denied the table of my choice as it had capacity for 4 and we were a couple (On a Monday late evening with less than 50% occupancy). I then also realized that Senior Manager Mr Babu.K.R is the rudest person the hospitality industry... He did not shy away from asking me to LEAVE THE PLACE if I insist on shifting me to that empty table. Not only he said those golden words he said them loudly in front of other customers and waiter...
    Sadly I had already taken a table and ordered the drinks and starters and it was late to shift restaurants at that time... but I was eventually punished by bad service, average food and a bill of 2, 800 (for two).

    Strongly recommend to save yourself from this place and choose many other interesting options available in Hinjewadi.
