Lollipop Web Promotions Unbelievably poor service

From the point following the sales call I have had nothing but difficulty getting cooperation from Lollipop Web Promotions. Yes indeed most of the "Customer Service" associates are utterly rude with attitude that is apparent over a phone line. Most people can disguise their impatience and self-importance, but these people don't even make and attempt. The associates that I have dealt with in the past that have had a sense of what good customer service is about have all left. Lollipop has been having technical difficulty for the pas four days. I cannot access their website, nor can I leave a message for customer service because their mailbox is full(!), to determine what exactly is happening and what their ETR is. I understand the difficulties with a start-up company and try to exercise patience, since I am in the same predicament, but Lollipop seems to have an unbelievable disregard for their customers and how important it is to have good hosting support to maximize their opportunity to generate revenue. something that has not happened for me since I launched my website in September last year.
I have recommended Lollipop to other business friends based on their sales team, but now regret doing so due to their unbelievably poor customer service and technical support departments. I will discontinue doing business with lollipop as soon as possible. Whether or not they will try to hold my website information from another company is yet to be determined, but being as tenacious as I am I doubt this will happen. For those of you who have had difficulties I recommend the Attorney General as a source of support to handle businesses who are less than consumer friendly. It is best to launch a complaint with the AG in your state, in the state in which the company does business, and the U.S. AG.

Contracted and paid for two web sites in Mar/11 at cost of $1800. Was promised completion of first in 11 days. After three weeks they said I should never have been promised 11 days and that it would take six weeks. Actually took 12 weeks. Then delivered a preliminary site which was so far removed from what I had asked for that I am pretty sure they didn't even look at my detailed request. I said I didn't want that site and to not develop the second site. I asked for a refund. They said they had already developed the second site even though I specifically asked them to wait until the first was up and running. I asked to see a copy of the second site and they said they couldn't show me. I cancelled the first site which they said negated any responsibility on their side and therefore they wouldn't issue a refund because they had fulfilled their part of the deal. I then asked to see a detailed list of the work they had done with pictures of the site they had developed - they promised to find them and forward them but never did. Endless phone calls later and their refusal to even return my calls and messages have ended up with me $2017 out of pocket, no proof that they ever did any of the work they claimed and an experience that is pretty much the worst I have ever had from any company. If you decide to enter into any arrangement with this group be extremely wary about anything and everything they say. Remember the old line "How can you tell I'm lying?" "because your lips are moving" Learn my mistakes and don't make them your own

I could not have said it better myself . Here are some copied over comments from IDS and keystone which is the same company and NO stiffy does not own a website design company Don ! or do you go by Randy now :-)
Folks it is best to hire a local web design person they are a dime a dozen now days and will come to your place of business. I think that contacting the attorney gerneral is a good idea because Don Ames will just create yet another business name and continue taking peoples money. note: if you do hand the company over to this randy guy this information will be listed on that business licence which is public information ...I will follow up on this one :-) P.S. Don Ames here is a hint as to who I am...next time you call someone stupid and a looser don't turn your back on them.

Dear Lollipop/IDS/whatever random company you will make next to hide your failures,

Your work sucks, you scam people, you promote underage staff to drink (and drive), as well as numerous drugs. You have a CEO who cheats on his wife with employees, and whom physically assaults a co- owner on the call center floor. HELLO DONALD AMES! You encourage the sales staff to overcharge for items, and to get a credit card "however you can", and then bill them endlessly until they cancel the card. You treat staff like expendable machines, and its sick. BUYERS BEWARE. NEVER USE IDS WEBSITES /LOLLIPOP / ZOOMBASITE!

I Called many times they told me what I wanted to hear but they still billed my card. I ended up having to cancel my card. This company has been creating new website names to pull in new unsuspecting victims.

Please take the time to file a complaint useing this link below. If convicted the CEO of this company could face felony charges for internet fraud. "same business under multiple names and not delivering goods or services"

So Stiffy? Please tell me how it is you supposedly live in Salt lake City, had a website with IDS Websites and then claim to know what goes on as an employee. I find it disgraceful that you find this a forum to slander someone on the internet but yet are unable to back it up with your name or business name. Can you spell competitor or disgruntle employee? I can and it is spelled STIFFY... grow up, be a man instead of a boy and quit hiding behind your filthy rants!

I used to work for IDS Websites as a designer, and I completely understand what everyone is complaining about. The management of Ids would not allow us designers to do quality work, they wanted us to get a website up fast so that they could start charging the customer right away. They were all about quantity over quality, and as a designer its frustrating, I didn't spend all this money getting my degree just to build template sites. I was let go from IDS for trying to do the right thing and build sites the way they should have been built. So on behalf of myself and the other designers that were let go, I am sincerely sorry. Do not use IDS' Service, you will be wasting your money.

With all the bad news on here, there is a ray of hope. The culprit of all the problems described on here is not involved with the company anymore. They have a new executive in charge, who also owns a legitimate and successful production company, and he is taking over IDS websites (zoombasite, Keystone, etc). I am a customer of IDS, and I have spoken with him personally. His name is Randy, and he is aware of all of the problems described on this board and is going to put an end to it all and deliver for his customers. If you have an issue, I encourage you to call him and he will make things right.

With all the bad news on here, there is a ray of hope. The culprit of all the problems, described so accurately on here, is no longer with the company. There is a new execcutive in charge, and he has no affiliation with the Keystone, Zoomba etc shaninigans. He has another legitimate and successful business, and he is going to put a stop to all the poor business proactices described on this board. I am a customer of IDS websites, and I have spoken to him personally. His name is Randy, and he is committed to making things right. I encourage you to call him if y0u have an issue. He understands and acknowledges the issues described here, and he is going to make a difference going forward.

First i'd like to start by mentioning how unprofessional this company is. They will start by not getting back to your calls for the longest time, then when you finally get through you need to talk to this girl called Missy which apparently has an amazingly stinky attitude (this might be because there is actual stench around her). This company will not let...

Lollipop Web Promotions VERY POOR SERVICE

The above reference company charge me 375 to build a website All of the things they claim they do on their website, I can not say was my experience. I am in the stone restoration business and they built a site for carpet cleaning business. When I explained to them the issues and told them I would like a separate page for different services i offer it was never done, yet they contine to charge. They did not do any quality control. Just look at the phone numbers. I finally got them to send a refund. they said it was prorated. it was 21.oo for my refund. my experience it they do not do what they say, they charge you no matter what the quality and there is no chance of acceptance. this is a RIPP OFF company. get the word out. Now we recently found out they have CHANGED THEIR NAME! They had too many compaints as IDS Websites so now they are known as Lollipop Web Promotions. We almost fell for it and signed up with them, we realized it was the same company, same awful service, same rude people.

My experience with Lollipop Web Promotions was identical. They promised they'd improve my sight & I would not be charged until the work was approved. When I received no further contact but I was charged I contacted them to complain. They said oh, your site is up and working. It had the wrong telephone number but for the most part was just a copy of what I already had. They wouldn't refund my money so I filed a claim with my credit card company and only ended up with less than half being refunded. I'm glad I don't have to do business by scheming and thieving like these people do and now I hang up on companies like this that call. I actually think it's the same people and they change their name frequently to try to keep the scam going! Shame on you Lollipop. And as for contacting Customer Service for satisfaction-that's another out and out lie!

Dear valued customers,

We are never happy to hear about customers who feel their experience with Lollipop Web Promotions has been unsatisfactory. Customer service is very important to us, as is transparency, and we work very hard to be up front about what customers should expect from us. Lollipop Web Promotions and IDS Websites, while related, are legally separate companies that offer different products and services in different markets. Lollipop Web Promotions offers basic website design and internet marketing services at very competitive rates. In addition, we offer free internet marketing tips and information on our company blog (lollipopwebpromotions.wordpress.com). Our goal is to make it easy and affordable for our customers to compete in an increasingly internet-driven world.

If you are displeased with your experience with Lollipop, we ask that you contact us directly at [protected] so that we can agree upon a productive solution.

TENNGA2 the more I research the more I see you are a FAKE. You are located in Eagle Idaho yourself... so I say you are a disgruntled employee or a Competitor. Please have the integrity to back up your claims with the proof you have as well as Your business name or delete your post. If you don't do either, than the public will know you are a fraud.

They ARE NOT THE SAME COMPANY. You are lying and that is really sad. I think you should check you information before you blatantly LIE to the public. I find it interesting that you have REFUSED to leave your business name. How do we know you are not a competitor or a disgruntled employee. If you truly have a complaint do it the correct way and use the BBB and then state your complaint honestly and openly for all to see. Not under the guise of a fake complaint. If they truly took the name over recently then why do they have customers for years. Get your story straight. People like you are despicable. Who are YOU and what is Your name?

I've been a customer with Lollipop Web Promotions for years! A wonderful company! They only charged me around $200 for a premium website, sure somethings aren't exactly to my specifications but that's just because I'm no web designer somethings have to be different because of SEO and cross browser compatibility is much more important! I don't complain when my plumber tells me he has to fix the pipes a certain way.. haha.. But everyone else quoted me $1000 and gave me a much worse design than Lollipop! And you get a person everytime you call! It's AMAZING SERVICE! I just wanted to give thanks to Lollipop saving me a bunch of money and headache on my website
