Leslie Wells does not pay for hours worked. Leslie will make promises about "the check is in the mail", and " oh yes I have sent your check" and will string you along for as long as she can keep you working for her. Leslie Wells does send you a 'contract' that you will be paid every other week, that you will get a set hourly amount, this is nothing more than a smoke screen.
Be very very careful when Leslie Wells contacts you about your resume that you posted on work at home sites.
Leslie Wells is a predator, and does not pay for services rendered. It took me 6 weeks of my time, over 120 hours that I donated working for her company. Please do not make the same mistake I made. The check is NOT in the mail. The bank did NOT run out of printed checks, or she does NOT need to verify your address (again). Leslie Wells & Associates does not pay the people she hires to do work at home jobs, this is a scam. If she calls Run! run as fast as you can. Please do not be a victim and donate your unpaid time to her company.

I worked with Leslie for about 3 months. I had a very good experience. I left her a testimonial reflecting my experience:
…….
After working with Leslie, it is evident that she is very passionate about helping her clients grow their businesses. Leslie is also committed to helping those working for her. If success is elusive, then Leslie takes the time to help find out why. She doesn’t hesitate to offer advice and training based on her own experience. Lastly, Leslie allows that there will be personal challenges while working a job of this nature and is willing to help work through and overcome those challenges.
…….
I received regular paycheck as per my contract and received the appropriate tax forms at the end of the year.
Whenever I needed to speak with Leslie, she was only a phone call or email away.
In short, working with Leslie was a great freelancing experience and I didn’t have any issues with receiving payment for my work.
Oops! I didn't see my original comment post, so I re-posted...
I worked for L. Wells & Associates for approximately six months and never had an issue. I was paid on time and appropriately, as per my contract. Working for Leslie allowed me to work around my children’s school schedule as we adjusted to a move to a new state and I was incredibly thankful for that opportunity.
I am in the process of applying for a position but they have not yet told me the salary. Can you give me an idea of the salary?
This Company Does Not Pay Their Employees
This company is a fraud. SHE pulls all the right levels to tie your "rights" up so that you can not complain and bring her to justice. She has an ironclad contract and chooses employees out of state so that if you wanted to go to court, you would have go to Georgia to file your claim. As the person above complained " the check is always in the mail"...which it never is...she lies. And when you do get a check it is not paid in full on work completed with reasons not listed in the contract or things she just pulls out of the air. If, after weeks and weeks of not being paid you decide you've had enough and quit "because you've not been paid" you are docked two weeks pay. Even for completed work.. that you complimented on...in the final check you are horrendously under paid. This woman is a criminal. She has a scam going. She is using out of state people that sign her contract in good faith and then squeezes as much work out of them as possible ...then fires them or they get exasperated and quit...then she goes on the the next unsuspecting soul.
Every contractor that works on the behalf of L. Wells & Associates, Inc. is paid for their work that is completed. Each contractor signs an independent contractor's agreement which clearly states the terms of the agreement, if the terms of the agreement are violated, such as not completing the work that the contractor has agreed to complete, then the contractor is not paid for work that is not completed. L. Wells & Associates works with contractors that are based nationwide in addition to the state of Georgia.
