not authorised charges
I bought dermawand and while I was on the phone with the rep, I specifically told her I do not want any "expert beauty advises" or creams or anthing else. Next thing I know I see two $59.99 each monthly chages for consultant advise I have never authorised to be taken out of my accout, or agreed to purchase. I chargedback one, and tried to chargeback the other, but was unsuccesful. They lied to my cc company saying they had a transcript of the recording saying I agreed to the charges. Big lies! That was not the case. I asked them to provide he actual recording, and of course they never did that, which is how I was able to charge it back. The other chrageback was unsuccessful due to time limitation. I can imagine what theor chargeback rate looks like and cannot wait these guys to be terminated from processing credit cards due to excessive chargebacks. Oh, by the way, the dermawand does not work at all. It is a waste of money! Spare yourself from the trouble of getting this junk and going through a nightmare.
Sending lotions after we told them to stop
We called and told them we wanted to trry product first and if we wanted anything else we would order it. They took money out of our bank for 19.95 and we called them when we got it told them we were senior citizens on limited income and under no circumstances were they to do that again! But they did and when we called again they said well you have to pay $10.00 reship fee I will be darned if I am going to pay for there mistake.
the above article is so right! My husband had a stroke of genius and called our card company and told them we did not want to pay the monthly pymt for them to ship their product which was now unwanted! we now have a surpkus ! the surplus happened because i am not a consistent user of the wand!
and the product backed up! Our card company agreed and stiopped letting them charge us!
however by email they have contacted us about the non pymt! Itried to email them back and it came back undeliverable!

One of the worst experience I had. The product doesn't work at all and they lied. On tv their adverting that 100% they going to refund but it is not true. I brought the product on 10/09/14, it does not work at all. So I returned it before 30 days. I called to customer service more than 10 times because I didn't get any refund, email or phone call from them about returned item. Finally they refund me on12/24/14 but not the whole amount I paid. They keep $10.84. I called to customer service and talked to "lucia" how was so rude to me. She was yelling and when I asked her name she said"luccciiiaaaa". She told me that $9.95 is nonrefundable. I told her on their site shows its 100% guaranteed refundable. I am not happy with the product and customer service. Don't buy, it is spam. They used your money for a few months, they do not return your whole money. You will charge twice one for your credit card because they will refund you in 3 or 4 months and one for nonrefundable amount. Shame on you for lying.
This message is not about the effectiveness of Derma Wan but the quality. We purchased two. The first one suddenly stopped working after one year. The second stopped working after 18months. Both were pampered, protected & gently handled. So the product is not worth the $$$ investment.
This company is horrible! Beware lesson learned that's all I am going to say!

I purchased the derma wand from its tv program. I assumed that was all I was purchasing. I used my credit card. After receiving the derma wand I decided I did not want to buy it. The program stated that it could be returned free of charge within 30 days risk free. I called them to tell them I was cancelling and was rudely told I would have to have my problem "escalated" and would be contacted witin 5-7 days. My card was charged $150.in the meantime I received another box which I assume are creams for $100. I did not order this. Again I called derm wand and was again rudely told that my problem had to be "escalated" and I would hear from them in 5-7 days. I was also told that the only amount they could return to my card was $39.95. I told them again that I had cancelled the whole mess. I am still waiting to hear from these con artists. I have had $250 charged to my credit card. My next call is to an attorney.

i wish I had read this before I bought the product. I purchased it and was not happy with it. I called customer service to return the product. I was told that they would send me a call tag so that I could return it. The tag was never sent. I called a second time and was told the same thing. Again, the tag was never sent to me! They waited until after the 30 day trial period and then reported my remaining balance to a collection agency! When I called them about this they said they reported it because I had an outstanding balance. I explained to the CS. Supervisor what had happened and she basically called me a lair...saying that they sent the tags and I did not do my part. I checked all of my email boxes (triple checked) nothing was ever sent! This is such a SCAM! Now I am forced to pay for a product I don't want or my excellent credit goes down the toilet (which is where this product should go! The product is no good and the "Customer Service" is worse! It's bad all the way around! If I had any anemies I wouldn't even recommend it to them!

They won't stop charging my card. I don't want anymore charges, I already paid more than it was suppose to cost. I have called and ask them to stop, but they keep taking money.

This company is a joke. This product is a joke as well. They will add extra products to your order without your knowledge and then charge your credit card monthly for them. Overdraft are rampant in bank accounts of dermawand customers thanks to this company scam practices. Their customer service is a joke. I spoke with three agents; lucia, being the first of three, she was clueless about product knowledge and could not give me an straight answer about what I was purchasing. She set me up for every 30 day charges that I did not approved and I kept getting this expired creams that only caused redness and swollen face.
The second agent was someone with the name of luis or louis, this agent needs to learn english and manners! He was so darn rude and loud that I had to hang up the phone on him.
Lastly, the third agent I spoke with during my 5th call to resolve the scamming scheme they were doing with my bank account was named aron which told me he was the supervisor on duty. That "supervisor" had no idea how to solve my account issues and told me basically I was screwed and had to eat the charges because they did not take creams back. I told him I will accuse dermawand of scamming its customers and report to different business controls agencies such as bbb and local authorities.
I called back and two agents were very professional and gave me excellent customer service, I don't recall their names but I believe they were george which despite his accent was very polite and knowledgeable and a woman whom I believe name was gloria or loria. These two agents did a good job and would make you have some hope in the company. But as far as the rest whom I spoke with and the scams runs by this company, I can only wait to see it burn in a courthouse during afternoon news.

want a refund for products not ordered
I ordered a dermawand and some of the lotion products to try. I did not sign up for recurring purchase of skin products. A month later I am being charged $116 for skin products which were shipped to me. I called customer service to obtain a full refund and the box is unopen and want to return everything. The rep proceeded to act like she was doing this and hung up. I immediately called back and talked to another rep who said he doesn't show I called to cancel anything. I started over and again asked to have everything cancelled and want a full refund of the products mailed to me. He said lotions cannot get a refund. I insisted on talking to a manager. He said it may take up to 2 weeks for someone to call me back! I again asked to cancel the products and return my money. He said he cancelled a march 2015 shipment but he cannot refund me the $116 from december and I cannot return the product. This is illegal! I did not open the product and want a full refund. The fact that I am told I have to wait 2 weeks for someone to call me back is very poor service. How do I get a refund.

Going through the same scam. I should think this. I have the products in the original packaging. But they refuse to let me return the product. My bank is looking into it. They even threatened me that if I didn't pay it would ruin my credit score! Really. We'll see about that. I'm not done yet!
I ordered the Derma Wand with the same results as Melissa Becton. I ordered the Derma Wand with my credit card. I received it and was dubious so I called to get a return number and told the sales rep that I wanted my money back and to please cancel anything they might send me. I was told they could not authorize a cancellation and they would have to call me back in 5 to 7 days. Meanwhile they sent me a 3 month supply of what I assume is creams. I did not order these creams. The cost was $100 applied to my credit card and I did not open then box. I called them and was rudely told if I returned it I would not get a refund. Again they told me I would be contacted within 5-7 days. I have not heard anything from these con artists. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. My next step is to seek an attorney.

not honoring a return with rma
It irritated my skin horrible product and the customer service is always giving you the run around. It was after the 30 days to receive a refund. I was aware of that but I could not use the product, the rep. Put me on hold to talk to a manager. When she returned to the call I was informed that I could return the product with no further charges and I was given a return authorization number.
When I returned it I got it with tracking to see when they had received it at the facility. It took them 2 weeks to enter it in the system as being returned and it wasn't entered in as the original date when it was received at the facility.

I fell for the same scam. From the start with the shipping I was told it would take 3 to 4 weeks to ship which would have be fine because i would be on vacation. It came couple days later with $21.00 shipping. So there went two weeks of my "30 day" guarantee . I had to make couple of calls to try to return the product and they kept saying someone would call me back. NOTHING. Then I receive products $123.00. That I did not order but they said I did. Third call back to them they pretty much said tough ### you can't return it and refuse to send me a return label. I had to call my credit card. Lesson learned but I want people to know DONT OORDER THIS PRODUCT.

I ordered this producr from an infomercial in which they claimed you could just return it, no problems. They are insisting I call them, I am not wasting my minutes as I have read that they tie you up for a long time trying to get you to keep their product, and buy more junk from them. I emailed them and asked them to send me the return number required for return. They responded insisting that I had to call them or I couldn't return the product and would be charged. I immediately cancelled the card I used to make the purchase, after reading horror stories about never receiving refunds, they insist they never received your return, they charge you more money then was agreed upon. I have sent them one more email, making it clear that if they didn't send me a return number, I either would just keep the product, as they can't charge me because they have no valid card number, or send it back without the number. They tell you if you return the product without the number, they will return it to you and charge you for postage and handling. Maybe i'll just keep it, why waste my money on shipping when they are so uncooperative. Don't ever order this product, as along with all the problems with returning it, it does absolutely nothing it promises to do.in fact, many people have been burned and had awful problems with their complexions after using this product. Having had a dermatologist perform what this product claims to do, it was clear from the first time I used it, it in no way worked like the professional treatment. Its basically a flashing light bulb with a vibrating device which makes a clicking noise. I showed this to my dermatologist and she told me to send it back, I was lucky I hadn't suffered any damage and no company can provide something like this and claim it works as there is no fda approval, because it doesn't even qualify as a something they would even evaluate. I advise everyone out there who has purchased this product to immediately cancel their card used to purchase it, whether they think they will keep it or not, as it has been made clear by all of the complaints you will only lose more money and most likely never receive your refund.

I notice that most of the reviews don't say whether or not they watched the instructional DVD, or actually read the instructions It is only dangerous if you don't use it correctly and Derma Wand tells you that. I just got mine today. However, I did see a difference, and will see more of one over time I am sure.

Order# 783933 apr 16, 2014. I accepted the offer to a one pay made by dermawand with a promise of $20 off the price. Upon accepting and providing payment, I was taken to an online screen that already accepted the payment without permitting me to review the cost. I was charged at and the regular rate with a requirement to call a 1-800 number in order to receive the discount. This call required me to pay and additional sum in order to get the $20 back, as well as sign up for an ongoing purchase of their produce. The discount was not given, as I did not agree to this secondary requirement. I refused to sign up, and was given (on my insistence) a phone number to call to request the refund. The phone number provided gives no access to purchases made in the last five business days. Ridiculous! This is an unacceptable marketing scheme.

I just bought online from Costco, with a great sale. Haven't tried it yet, but if I don't like it, Costco will always let me return it.
I have used the dermawand for two months and have 100% more wrinkles than I had when I started. At first I thought maybe this happens until my skin is used to it. Boy was I dumb. I have so many wrinkles I had to go to a plastic surgeon for help. He told me the dermwand is not safe and I should stop using it. My skin is sagging and the wrinkles are from the dermawand. At first I blamed myself, I though I must be doing something wrong until further research showed me I was doing it correctly. Please save your money don't buy the dermawand.

As a physician, I don't think I have ever come across a comment on a web site such as this that has so obviously been posted by someone related to the company - either someone who doesn't work for the company but was paid to type in their comments or actually works for (or did when they put in the comment) the company. And if the product really does work by "radiowaves" - it could never do what it claims to do! (which it can't do anyway...) I'm sure the "explanation" that it uses "radiowaves" is simply a term thrown in to make the product sound technical in a way that someone might believe it...assuming they were naive (as most of us are) about what "radiowaves" even are ! . And if this person doesn't work for the company - how would she know it works by "radiowaves" (someone had to tell her...). It's often written in Latin but I'll save the trouble translating - "buyer beware." If it sounds to good to be true, it virtually always IS too good to be true!
This is the biggest rip off company I have ever dealt with. They 1st get you to pay in full, I your 30 day free trial begins the day you order. You will not receive the order until the 30 days are up. They don't wait the 30 days to charge you. They charge $155 as you are still talking to them. No matter how many times you say no. They will still charge you. I told her I work in a spa that does this and can get the creams and gels for free, she still kept talking. I never received any confirmation email. All I have is $155 out of my account. Every number I tried to call would not put you through, they hang up. When you try to email the product celebrity, guess what? It doesn't go through. I will be reporting them to the BBB and my attorney will be filing false advertisement charges. If we all do our part and report these companies to the BBB, they would not be able to do this. This has been the worst informecial product I' have ever bought ! DO NOT BUY!

If it is to good to be true it is. Derma wand stole my money they were they not authorized to take money out of my account. I spoke to a brinan ext #292 and they say they did not receive my fax or the products back. I do not have the product. Do not not not buy this product.

Do not order this product! They will take your money and you never recieve the product. When you call they will give you a series of tracking numbers, none which are real. In the end they say it the customers responsibility to see why the post office didnt deliver it and you cant cancel the order unless the post office gives you a claim number. Really...they are just taking your money!
I have been waiting 3 weeks for a tracking number. After I reaching once out I was told items were back ordered and to expect a tracking number in a few days. A week later and still no tracking number. I’m pretty sure they have stolen my money and now I will start proceedings on how to get it back.
I attempted to return the box of creams that I did not authorize. They charged me for the box and I thought that was the total charge. I offered to keep the box as long as I no longer had any charges which she assured me I would not. I received a charge the next month. I really hope someone does a class action suit against their customer service. I purchased this to help with wrinkles on my face. Some of the stuff in the box was body lotion what does that have to do with your face?

What complaint are you referring to? I have supplied my name, email, phone # and address. Dermawand has done nothing ethical. All they are doing is enticing people who are vulnerable looking for that solution to an aging face. To then take advantage by failing to refund your money, charging you more than was agreed upon, and wasting alot of time on the phone, (which, by the way, is also costing you if you have a cell which you pay for the minutes), they are not nice at all when they realize you are not going to keep their useless overpriced product. Read the reviews, you are one of 2 or 3 people out of the rest who thinks this product works. And, you haven't dealt with the nightmare people do who try to return the product go through only to never receive their refund.
As far as dealing with returns on a daily basis, you better believe they have plenty of work in that department. I'd like to know the percentage of how many are purchased and how many are attempted to be returned. I say attempt because they go to great lengths to wear you down, hoping you will eventually give up. Clearly, you are looking in the mirror and making yourself believe you see an improvement. Take a picture, then take another one in a month and you won't be able to deny that their is no change, and luckily, you haven't suffered burns and other adverse reactions to this flashing lightbulb with a vibrating device that clicks. Get real, ITS FAKE! Go to a real Dr. and you will get the truth. If you want me to forward their e-mails, I'll be happy to do so.

They deal with returns, replacements and deliveries on a daily basis. That is their job. Take advantage of it.
I I have had good experience with Dermawand. I left my home state and went to California about 2 years ago and stopped my auto ship for dermavital until I had a new permanent address.
There did not seem to be any problems for me.

Shocked By Negative Derma Wand Comments
Wow! I'm totally shocked by all the neg comments! Honestly, I love the thing. Can't live without it. I'm 31, don't have any wrinkles at all but I have my mom and grandmothers "chipmunk" cheeks and what they call "bulldog" lines at the sides of my mouth. I've noticed those lines, which have always been there, are a little more pronounced. I bought the Derma Wand and used it to smooth out the lines around my cheek and nose and it worked (temp) first time out of the box. I had to use the lowest setting (settings go from 1-9) for a few days but now I'm on 9 and there is no pain. Even when I first used it didn't hurt as bad as most of you had written. Maybe you had it turned all the way up? You get used to the sensation. I never watched the DVD. When I use it I use clinique moisturizer because the gel ran out and I prefer my moisturizer anyway and it last longer. I pull up on my "wrinkles" and apply firm (but not too hard) pressure and iron out those bad boys. I just go over and over them in an upward vertical motion. Also, I use it longer than they say to. I could spend a good ten minutes just running it all over my face. Plus, my skin feels softer and my pore size decreased. So, needless to say, I'm confused by all these neg comments and I'm so very sorry it isn't working the way you hoped it would.

This is actually not a complaint against the dermawand...but for the ones who have complained about the dermawand... I bought the dermawand last May 2008.. i have had it for over a year and I have not experienced any burning sensation of the skin at all other than the tingling feeling ur suppose to feel when u use it... Ur not suppose to use it at a high number unless ur skin is ready for it.. and the instructions plainly state u do not have to turn it up to get the same results... I also stopped using it for about 4 mths and never experienced my skin being saggier than before as one woman explained in her complaint after stopping its use for 2 wks... I dont' know what these other women are doing or what kind of health status their skin was in prior to the dermawands use; but I have not had one bad experience with it ... I have received the results it stated would happen and have been very happy with it... It could have also been the way they were previously eating or exercising... I have always been in the gym lifting weights and eating proper... so my skin may have been at a more healthier level than theirs to begin with ...Im not saying that is why it went wrong for them, its just a thought.

Derma wand is a terrible product. Do not purchase it! It's a scam. They would charge your credit card with higher amounts than authorized. They would charge your credit card with things you did not purchase. They would add sale taxes to the shipping and handling when there is no tax on shipping costs.
I authorized a first charge to my credit card for $ 9. 95, however, the charge was made for $13. 55. This is $ 3. 60 of overcharge. They told me that this $3. 60 was sale tax over the shipping of $ 9. 95. So they charged me 36. 2% over 9. 95. They are in california, where the sales tax fluctuates in between 8. 15 - 8. 25%, (According to the county) but they charged me 36. 2% instead.
They would try to upsale things you don't need such subscriptions to magazines and other things.
If you choose monthly payments, they would charge the whole amount to your credit card.
Moreover, the dermawand machine is worthless. It does nothing to your skin in the best of the cases. I have read reports of people saying that the machine damaged their skin. This wasn't my case, but it did nothing to improve it. It was a waste of time and money.
Besides, after you decide to return the machine, they don't want to honor their own warranty. They become so unpleasant to deal with.
The commercial states that they would pay for the returning shipping also, but this isn't true.
When i called to return the product, they gave me a rma number and they told me to use a little return label with a funny barcode in the back of the sales slip. They told me that the postage was pre - paid in that label. In fact, the label was there. I packed the machine, i placed the little return label on the package and took it to the post office.
The clerk at the post office, told me that the label "was not" pre paid and i would have to pay for the shipping. I was not willing to spend anymore money with these people, so i called them and told them to send me a label. They respond that they wouldn't do it.
They are just crooks. One lie after another.
My attorney sent them a letter with all the information, and telling them that if they want their machine back, they need to send me a pre - paid label.
I haven't heard back from them. I have the machine packed and ready to go.
Do not give your credit card number to these people. The whole thing is a scam.
These high frequency machines sell for $ 64 - $100. 00. Go to amazon. They have a wonderful return policy and it's hassle free to return any item to them if you are dissatisfied.

I brought a derma wand pro on 3/17/24, on 04/12/24 it stopped working. I’m disappointed because it really does work for me . I believe it the cord it’s to short it doesn’t stay in the socket.

Hello. I bought my Dermawand at Bed Bath and Beyond. They retrieved it from a locked cabinet. The box contains the wand, a carry string bag for wand, trial sized pre-face treatment, and instructional papers w/ DVD. The papers indicate that other lotions may be included. My box was not sealed. I'm curious to know if my box had been tampered with.
I have had the dermawand for about 8 to 10 years. I used off and on and was happy with it when I did use it. However, I accidently dropped it on the counter while using and the bulb got broken. I called about getting a repair and they couldn't find my info. They (Melody with customer service) told me that I couldn't get it fixed without proof of purchase and I would have to buy another one. THAT is unacceptable! Like I'm going to have the receipt from that long ago! Most likely they only retain your info for a short time so that they can get more money out of you because you would have to buy a new one if you ever needed a repair! They just lost a customer!

ICTV Brands, Inc. aka ICTV Dermawand practices egregious sales and business practices and to date the BBB, Complaints Board, and various other agencies refuse to seriously investigate the numerous complaints against this company. Why? Because ICTV is such a large company and is truly BIG BUSINESS.
After seeing an infomercial on TV, I called to ask a technical question about the product. The individual who answered my call clearly did not know anything about the product; he was merely an order taker. I told him that if he didn't know anything about the product he was selling, then I was not interested in the product. Approximately, 10 or 20 minutes later I got a call from a woman who told me that she noticed that I had called regarding the Dermawand and that I had not placed an order. I told her I was only interested in learning the technical aspects of the product. She proceeded to conduct a hard sell. She answered my question and told me that if I did not "love" the Dermawand that I could return it after for 30 days at no out-of-pocket expense (including shipping to return it; I specifically asked her). I agreed to try it for 30 days. She proceeded to sell me other products and asked me if I would like to purchase the Dermawand for my friends. I declined. However, I did agree to an extended 5-year warranty, which was part of the total price of $158.74.
When I received the item the Dermawand came to me in a plain shipping box. The Dermawand was not packaged in any type of professional manufacturer's packaging. The cord was loose, the items scattered in the shipping box. Also, according to the directions, the Dermawand was supposed be given time to warm up. The Dermawand I received did not require warm up time.
Three days after purchase, I called to request a return authorization form. I was told that I would have to return it at my own expense; whereupon an argument ensued. I often record telephone conversations, however at the time I placed the order for the Dermawand, I was not prepared to record the conversation. So, I lied and told the woman that I would be happy to replay the conversation of the original order where the seller told me that there would be no out-of-pocket expense to return the item, if it was returned within the 30-day trial period. She immediately told me that since I was recording the conversation (which I was not), she could no longer speak with me and hung up. They have since blocked my telephone number, I am unable to contact them.
I reported this to Chase and disputed the charge. They see fit to honor this merchant. Clearly Chase does not respect customers in good standing.
I have investigated ICTV Brands, aka ICTV Dermawand and learned that there have been many complaints against them. The Securities and Exchange Commission sued them in 2010, 2011, and 2016. I am investigating whether I can join a class action against this merchant. It surprises me that their infomercials continue to be run on TV.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do not order. My mom had to cancel her credit card. They would not stop charging her. First $30.90, then $44.90, then $59.90, and finally $39.95 before she canceled it. She returned the first shipment and refused the other two. RIDICULOUS!
Buyer Beware. Terrible customer service. I never received the product, then got sent to collections for not paying for it. I called customer service twice. One person hung up on me. Both only look at their computer and repeated again and again what the computer says, which is wrong. They won't let me talk to a supervisor, nor will let me contact anyone who can take the account out of collections.
Everything about this company is crooked. I have never felt so stupid and helpless since the day I fell for that infomercial on TV. I have never called to order such an expensive product but little did I know that the 3 payments of $30 they touted was just the tip of the iceberg. Once they have your credit card number they pile on fees and subscriptions to things I didn't even know they signed me up for it. It was at Christmas time when I was busy and didn't pay attention to what they were doing until it was too late. They've taken over $200 off my card in 2 months and I'm still on the hook with them as they told me another shipment of the creams was coming and I can't cancel it until it comes to my door. They're a slippery, disreputable company and I think any good reviews they are getting are from their legions of employees working for them.
