I just visited puppyfind.com where their latest litters are listed (I'm looking for a Yorkie as my previous one passed 5 months ago at 15 years. The Male and female Yorkie he has listed definitely have genetic disorders - may even be inbreed by the look of those 2 poor souls.. after researching, he sells a dozen different breeds! these type of breeders are despicable as it seems to be 1 guy and his wife running it all (aka "Puppy Mill").. I question their morals/souls above all.. disgusting!
I just saw on the Mecklenburg County Court website that Rodney Larsen has been charged with animal cruelty. His original court date was September 12, 2019. He was taken into custody at that time. His case has been continued 5 times since his arrest date. His next court date is March 24, 2022. I would LOVE to be there. I was the plaintiff that took him to Judge Judy. He closed under the name CountryHill Pups, then opened under the name Foxie Pups, also closed.
I just saw this case and decided to look this guy up. I'm glad to know that he has at least be charged. By the way in this situation were you able to get your puppy back?
I hope he has been closed down and is not operating anymore - he is a HORRIFIC person and should never be able to own another animal

This home is nasty urine and feces all over the floor, the dogs are dirty and infested with fleas it's 70 dogs in pens and in the home dead dogs are stored in a freezer with his food the home doesn't look like the pictures they are not fed the conditions are awful it's a mill he's running wirh no end in sight the smell is bad
Please call Mecklenburg Animal Control with your findings. They have already investigated him. They would love to know this information.

Country Hill Pups no longer has a website. He is operating under the name “Foxie Pups”. Ironicly this is the name of his dog that got locked in his truck and died from heat exhaustion. He told me he got in his truck for something and didn’t know that Foxie had also jumped in. I don’t understand how she could jump in and he not know it. His
“favorite “ dog was locked in his truck for several hours before he realized she was missing. Unfortunately the vet couldn’t save her.
Looks like like he is all but shut down. Let’s keep after him and shut him down completely.

I only know what I learned on the repeat episode of Judge Judy that aired today, October2, 2018, about the, it appears, puppy mill operator, Rodney Larsen, of Va. I wish Linda Moore had been awarded her precious Pomeranian to get her out of that filthy situation. When Judge Judy elicited from the defendant that he has 38 dogs (and probably many more he failed to mention), it broke my heart because it causes me to believe he’s a puppy miller, and I detest the squalor in which puppy mill animals are forced to live. If you’re reading this, Linda, please give us an update. Was your Pomeranian spayed? Does Larsen still have dogs? Did Mecklenburg County put him out of business? I see Larsen was forced to clean his facility to the point of blisters on his hands. Good! I suspect the dogs have worse than that. Reminder to each of us...always know and inspect the facility from which you’re purchasing a puppy and ask questions. Always. If there is even one red flag, walk away.
I have been told that he had Emily spayed. I asked Judge Judy’s producer for proof. She requires proof, so do I. They refused to provide me proof. Rodney Larsen A. K. A. Country Hill Pups is still in business. Mecklenburg Animal Control is watching him.
I just saw the rerun of Judge Judy on 10/2/18. Im curious if this breeder is still in business? It is shameful anyone would make a living breeding various breeds of dogs. I purchased my dog from a reputable breeder who is truly top notch and breeds only to perpetuate for the genetic quality of the breed. No puppy dog mill breeds. You know the difference between someone who truly cares about the breed vs one that cares only about making money. I feel sorry for those puppy's who aren't so lucky. Is Animal Control still checking on this individual? I hope so! Never buy from puppy mills as you will only perpetuate the problem. We hope to show our dog. He is actually co owned with the breeder. If he doesn't show well, we are required to get him fixed and he will make a wonderful pet anyway. He is top quality.
I agree! Judge Judy wouldn't look at the pics because she'd be horrified and didnt want to get involved. I know she's an animal lover from previous episodes. ?

I was the plaintiff in the episode of Judge Judy you are referring to. Rodney led everyone to believe that the woman with him was his wife, she is NOT his wife. She just lives with him. If you missed the episode of Judge Judy it will be re-airing tomorrow night October 2, 2018. I reported Rodney to animal control. The investigating officer told me that he had blisters on his hands from all the cleaning he was required to do. They are keeping a close eye on him. What I didn’t get to tell Judge Judy was that all the dogs in his house urinate all over the house. The odor was atrocious. I wouldn’t trust him to take care of a plant, much less an animal.

Why the hell did you buy a dog from him once you saw the conditions?! You contributed to this abuse. You then BRED a dog you bought from this puppymiller, making you just another backyard breeder contributing to the overpopulation problem AND you actually sold him a dog! Neither of you are innocent
Hi Linda...I’m up in Canada and lost my dear Pomeranian Foxi in November 2017. When I saw little Emily, and listened to you, my heart broke. I’m so glad you took him on Judge Judy, and I pray the county he lives in, stays on him. He shouldn’t even be allowed to own a dog in my eyes. You are an Angel of the Rainbow Bridge...thank you for caring.
It’s very sad that the Human Society lets this man and his girlfriend get away with this. It’s called Cruelty to Animals! I don’t understand why they just don’t go in and remove every animal on that property. The next step would be lock the man & woman up in a prison cell with nothing to eat and no where to sleep and stay warm. I really am so angry at the lack of service that animals get. It’s criminal!
I bought my dog from him 5 years ago. He delivered my puppy to me in Emporia, halfway between my house and his. I had no knowledge of his puppy mill until I went to his house. HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A BACK YARD BREEDER! I am not a breeder at all. Don’t run your mouth until you know the whole story.

you are absolutely right! and guess what! This guy and his wife just aired on Judge Judy and were being sued for the return of a dog after the seller discovered his puppy mill where he admits to have 40 dogs and 28 different breeds! Judge Judy made him agree to have the dog spayed or he wouldnt get a dime from the show or his expenses! They were a real piece of work!
This property needs to be inspected by the Animal Control. I feel this is in fact a puppy mill that needs to be dismantled ASAP placing the owners under arrest for animal cruelty! The animals need to checked by a vet and then placed in foster care, etc. I would love to help out. I cannot stand when people take advantage over the animals that God put on this earth for us to take care of, not abuse them. They need love, care, a warm bed inside the house and a healthy diet of food! It make me so angry and sad to hear that they people are still doing this - dog breeding mills!
