My husband went to get gas in our van. He only had a hundred dollar bill and went in to prepay. The attendant told him that she just opened and could not give change. She didn't know what to do so she called her "manager". I use this term lightly. The manager MIchelle told the attendant to call the police and tell him to leave. Literally, I can't explain the situation any clearer than that! The attendant even was telling the police officer that there was no need for them to be called. She just didn't know what she was supposed to do.

Resolved

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Seems like there is something being left out between the attendant saying she couldn't break the $100 bill and the manager calling the cops.

I agree she is leaving something out and no they probably don't get out much.
$100 bills are not accepted in many outlets. Not a speedway or 7-11 will take them. I seriously believe something else happened, because having the police come had to steam from a deeper happening then here's a $100 bill no i don't have change for that...oh OK now i call the police?!?

It's not the store manager that's the problem, it's upper management at corporate. They make all employees drop all bills larger than a 5 almost immediately, and if they do a sudden inspection and find the clerk has too much money in the drawer (over 120 dollars) they are fired on the spot. So don't put the blame on the store itself, blame the corporate managers that are like that.
