This morning my son & I were watching channel 7 sunrise & due to poor digital reception from cloud cover & rain the picture froze on a frame from a story sunrise is promoting regarding a movie. The picture/frame showed a half naked women in front of a man viewing her obviously taking her clothes off. My son was watching at the time. The Rv channel became stuck on this frame.

This is totally inappropriate viewing for this time of morning where children are viewing. This also sends the incorrect message to children, teenagers & adults regarding not treating women with respect & portrays women as mere sex objects for men.

We've got nobody to turn to since we had complained to Optus several times in the past 6 months regarding their poor network signal across these areas.

We live in Sydney still we cant use mobile data 4G and there is no reception or just 1 bar in Horsley Park, Narellan Shopping Centre and Harrington Park. We can't make phone calls or if we could they got drop outs frequently around Bailey Court in Harrington Park. People around here know it all too well.

Please investigate and make it 6pm news so Optus starts to care about all of us here. It's hilarious how they've got a shop in the shopping centre where we can't even use their 4G data there! Why they want to progressively roll out 5G network if they still can't service 4G network in Sydney properly.

Regarding the coverage of the Stirling station attack.
Why were two two young men who A) fought off the other five teens and then
B) assisted with making the victim comfortable, not the hailed heroes also?

Rather than the transit officer (who actually accused them of the crime in the first place), just because he was the first adult on scene?

From the start of a unit due to bias behavioure of the unit coordinator I expected that he is going to fail me and he did. When I complained about him. the school failed me in supplementary assignments too. I went in all the process of complaint from school to general university complaint sectary. But they all united and rejected my appeal to get my assignments checked by any out of university neutral person. All college of unit coordinator favoured him. Even compliant handling people misbehaved with me and called me a lier. I have firm believe that if some neutral person gets my assignment check I will get a pass.
Even I presented my classmate assignment as proof of bias who was given a higher marks compared with me on producing a similar quality of work.
Can you help with any?. I have all proof and emails of their bias and unatheical behaviour.

While I fully appreciate news of the bushfires I find it absolutely disgusting to watch animals on fire in peak hour viewing especially with children in the room no warning of what is to come. You wouldn't show people burning, it was very upsetting for our kids.As along time vewer I will be watching onther station for news.It makes me wonder if Scott Morrison is writing your news stories. Same sort of arrogance. Just a post note I've never written to complain about anything before...shame

I think it is disgusting that you are continuously airing people attacking our prime minister every single night on the news. The management of the bushfire crisis is mainly a state issue and not a federal one. Yes, Scott Morrison is now putting resources towards helping people, but this crisis is not primarily his fault, it has been years in the making. Yes, a lot of Australia is affected and I am heartbroken for the people that have lost houses and loved ones, but is this really the time to dredge up any person who hates our prime minister and put them on the nightly news? How about reporting on some of the good things that people are doing or maybe even talking to people that have a different point of view from that of the far left? I turn on the news to see the latest update, but end up turning it off again because of the vitriol spewing from my television screen.

Please start reporting differently, you are so out of touch with the quiet Australian people & no longer have our trust.

At 20.45 tonight, 24-10 -2019 . An advert for the upcoming news showed a severe motor accident as it was occurring from a vehicle's dashcam .
As a victim of someone else's erratic driving the left side of my body was completely crushed . Watching that advert made me feel physically sick even though I had no actual memory of my accident occurring.
I am shocked and more than a little disgusted that this advert was shown with no warning that the content was disturbing . I am sat here with my wife and 15 year old Daughter, to say that they were upset would be a massive understatement .
In my opinion Channel 7 should have a sense of of responsibility for informing the public that upcoming vision could be upsetting for some .
I am absolutely disgusted that you seem to have no respect for your audience .

Lack of reporting on Climate Change and the reasons behind the protest
Reporting on Extinction Rebellion protests is lacking in information as to why the protests are occurring.
Focusing primarily on the number of arrests and inconveniences to society and police. While it is useful to be informed about the circumstances of current events, there is very little support (currently) in the form of highlighting and documenting the current published science on climate change. Especially when you consider the significance of the issue in a relative sense and in relation to the economy and the public.
By saying nothing about this topic, you are already creating a bias and preference, showing support for the premise that this is not a real or significant issue.
In affect passively and indirectly fuelling misinformation and political diversions, by focusing the public's attention on the 'inconveniences' and 'costs' inflicted on the public due to the actions of Extinction Rebellion.
It is directing the public's emotional reactions and beliefs towards a premise that has not been influenced or shaped by neutral and balanced research, facts or context's.
At an individual level, are you not concerned for your own well-being or that of future generations? And if so, why are you not raising these questions in search of answers to understand what the state of the climate's health is, our impact on it, and who is causing it? You could be contributing to unraveling the puzzle by using your reach, research skills and influence to bring together different fields, minds and innovators to search for the truth, lies or misunderstanding's, and most importantly the solutions that are required to resolve the issue.
How can you justify your current coverage as a % of total content published, as well as the content itself, on the probable single biggest issue our society faces today?

Tuesday morning channel seven aired on the sunrise morning show David Kosh ambushing Pauline Hanson along with Darren Hinch. I am truly disgusted with what went on. I foot watch sunrise as I personally do not like David Kosh and do not know how he holds his position. I watched the so called interview on Facebook. Pauline should of walked out in the face of such ignorance. The timing was atrocious with people in terrible pain. Channel seven should of cut the interview and David Kosh should be sacked.

Breach 3.3 Accuracy and Fairness

3.3.1 In broadcasting a news or Current Affairs Program, a Licensee must present factual material accurately and ensure viewpoints included in the Program are not misrepresented.
3.3.2 Clause 3.3.1 applies to material facts and material misrepresentations of viewpoints only.
3.3.3 Licensees must make reasonable efforts to correct or clarify significant and material errors of fact that are readily apparent or have been demonstrated to the Licensee's reasonable satisfaction in a timely manner.
3.3.4 If a Licensee makes a correction in an appropriate manner within 30 days of a complaint being received or referred to the ACMA (whichever is later), then the Licensee will not be in breach of clause 3.3.1 in relation to that matter.
3.3.5 A correction under clause 3.3.4 may be made in one or more of the following ways:
a) during a later episode of the relevant Program;
b) on a Licensee's news website;
c) on the official website of the relevant Program; or
d) any other way that is appropriate in the circumstances.

Breach 3.4 Impartiality

3.4.1 In broadcasting a news Program, a Licensee must:
a) present news fairly and impartially;
b) clearly distinguish the reporting of factual material from commentary and analysis.
3.4.2 Nothing in this Section 3 requires a Licensee to allocate equal time to different points of view, or to include every aspect of a person's viewpoint, nor does it preclude a critical examination of or comment on a controversial issue as part of a fair report on a matter of public interest.

I was extremely disappointed in the news coverage of the Beach Day Out celebrations aired on the evening of the event, namely the 14th September 2018. Presenter Rob Brough used the words "mentally and physically disabled" when making reference to the targeted participants of the event. This was followed by a voiceover presenter again using the word "disabled" inappropriately. I implore Channel 7 to explore the Australian Disability Etiquette standards before airing such politically incorrect and inappropriate language on a forum where they have an opportunity and a duty to set an example for the community.

I am disgusted with the interview between Basil and Eagles coach Adam Simpson.
Basil was completely out of order and Simpson showed remarkable restraint.
I have watched Ch7 my entire adult life (66) but I am done with you now. I also will not listen to 6PR or buy the West Australian newspaper until Basil goes.
Basil needs to apologise to Adam Simpson and the West Coast Eagles Football Club.
Ch 7 and The West's coverage of this incident has been disgraceful and borders on bullying. It seems they will not be content until they have even more sensational stories to report . They are a disgrace to journalists everywhere.

Im not condoning what Andrew Gaff did yesterday but Basil Zempalis interview with Adam Simpson was so unprofessional, biased and Arrogant. Saying the eagles have an arrogant attitude? Pot calling kettle black Basil ...as was his disgusting interview about women being addicted to IVF . He needs to be more professional.
Matthew Pavlich should be banned from all game commentating ( or lack of it) watch the game channel 7 the commentating panel on Sunday were a joke! They actually "commentated" the game for less than 20 minutes out of 240 he loves the sound of his own voice talking about everything BUT the play it's very frustrating. He's extremely biased and I'd hate to be blind and rely on him calling the game. Bring back commetti or please train them properly.

Tuesday 26.4.16 - 6.00pm New Bulletin
Channel 7 Sydney News took us to a "Breaking News Story" - their helicopter was above a car accident in Granville where a toddler in a pram was hit by one of the cars.
While reporting, the camera was zooming in on the child receiving medical treatment from the Paramedics. The camera proceeded to zoom in so closely, that we could clearly see the Paramedic carrying out heart compression on the toddler. I think it's unnecessary, unacceptable and completely disgraceful to show this footage of such a young victim. The poor toddler ended up passing away from the injuries sustained.

The footage of this incident as well as the repeated showing of this footage both throughout the news coverage and over more than one day of seven news at 6pm is offensive and unnecessary. There is no forewarning that viewers may find the footage disturbing nor is it necessary to even show the footage as the verbal description is sufficient information.
As a daily viewer of your news bulletin I am disappointed in the lack of judgement of what's "appropriate "footage in this case and feel let down that is deemed as necessary to show.
In addition I support this view as a shareholder and expect better of a company in which my money is invested.
My expectation of your company is immediate addressing of this view and a written response with your intentions.

I was just watching The Chase. One of my few favourite programs which I bother turning the TV on for.
This was disrupted by a News Flash...which is fine. If there is a cyclone headed toward me or if there is a significant natural disaster or terrorist attack, go ahead let me know.
Instead we were directed to a press conference because someone has left Essendon. What the!?
Do I care...no.
Is it life altering...maybe for him, not for me.
Did anyone die...no.
Will this affect our way of life...no.
Did I need to know this as it was happening...no.
Thank you for disrupting my viewing pleasure for something you deem to be urgent which is one of the least interesting items of news I've seen today (and I do watch the news daily).

Watching the suspected terrorist crisis in Martin Place. I find it absolutely disgusting that you find it appropriate to scroll huge channel 7 logos across the screen during such an emotional and terrible time.
What a pathetic opportunistic grab at advertising during this crisis.

I would like to make a complaint against channel seven. During the news on the 17/06/2014 they bought up what was happening in Iraq, in one particular part a guy was trying to make another guy say something to which the guy would not say what he wanted to hear so he stuck a rifle into the guy 's neck(and we know what happened next).There was also a part where many people were taken out to basically a killing field. My husband and I were both disgusted (we told our young children to close their eyes). It would have been nice for channel 7 to advise us to look away because of the graphics that were about to appear! Very disappointed !

Channel 7 News 08/02/2011 story of Tony Abbott "### happens". I am disgusted with Mark Riley and all at Channel 7 who with malicious, deliberate intent tried to destroy Tony Abbott's reputation and character with lies and innuendo. There was no consideration for Jared Mackinney's widow, parents, family and friends who are still grieving, they were all exploited by Channel 7 to push their agenda in totally discrediting Tony Abbott in the eyes of the Australian people. Channel 7 could not sink any lower, it needs to get out of the ### school-yard mentality, grow up and try and become professional, all involved in this despicable act should be sacked! Will not be watching Channel 7 anymore and will let people know the extent of my disgust.
