I spent $6000 on a 'service dog' (it was a 'deal considering he normally charges $10, 000) named Kipper. The dog had clearly been abused and was terrrified of people and traffic (which is terrible because I was attending summer classes at UC Berkeley). The dog was (sort of) protection trained--he could lunge out to the end of his lead and bark--but that's about it. His obedience was ok--but not as good as my own pet dog at home. I bonded quite strongly to the dog nonetheless...he was sweet. However he was a 'pet quality' dog and had NO skills in working around other people. I was supposed to use the dog for balance--however because of his terror--he served the opposite function and I spent most of my time trying to make sure I wouldn't fall because of his poor behavior.
We returned the dog but Bob refused to give us our money back. Our dog had been rejected by someone before us, and
now this guy Bob Taylor says the formerly extraordinarily fearful dog is so good he gives K-9 demonstrations in front of large groups of people and just the other day "prevented a seizure." Unfortunately we cannot afford to spend even more money to properly file suit.
What is the most horrible thing though--he actually sold kipper to another (unsuspecting) family. Unfortunately the family that now has him no longer had their website up...
Bob Taylor has a criminal history and was arrested most recently for a felony in May 2008 (I don't know what
for). He has many bankruptcies, including bankruptcy of a business called Snowline K-9. Also, there are a lot of small claims judgments against him. His business US K-9 has been suspended by the Franchise Tax Board.

If you are looking for an honest trainer who produces amazingly SOLID dogs see the following website: http://www.cqbk9.com/
I have just gotten a new dog (it took a while to find the money) from Alex (owner/trainer at CQB K9) but he is FANTASTIC and everything I asked for from Bob (but did NOT receive). If you want more information regarding either trainer feel free to contact me through this site.

I am clipping email sections of my communications with him (and also the family that currently has him):

I sent this:
I was emailing you to tell you my mom is not going to chase after you anymore to get the $6, 000. It is a new year and it would be good to 'start over'. When we initially gave you Kip back you offered to give us half ($3000) of what we paid for him back to us. I know Kip has a new home and that he is having fearful tendencies there as well and that they have also paid you for him. I am a college student and, as my mom is single, she cannot afford to spend any more money on Kip. We spent a great deal of money and time with him trying to make him work out for what I needed him for. We even personally flew him down to return him because shipping him as cargo would have been extremely traumatic for Kip. I really want to get another dog but cannot afford it. I know you probably work a lot with people who have a lot of money--but my mom and I don't. She is having to pay for everything right now and we are very stressed financially. I am aware you are probably too, however, in light of the fact that the people who had Kip before us did not get their money back either, it seems highly reasonable that you could give us your initial offer of half of what we paid for Kip. Would you be willing to give me back $3, 000 so I can put that money toward a new K9 helper? I would be eternally grateful to you for such an act of kindness.
sincerely, X

Me again (after no response):
thanks for nothing Bob.
Your true as a dishonest cheat have officially pulled through with flying colors.
I have found an HONEST trainer who is actually delivering the dog and spending three days with me at my home. The dog is positively stunning and has not once attempted to pee or have the runs in our house. I feel terrible about Kip...You don't deserve him. You are traumatizing him solely because of your greed and selfishness. At least be a decent human being to Kip: find him a PET home or give him to a GS rescue. Accept him for what he is and wants to be: a pet.

Bob Replied:
Dear Mik:

1. I did a tremendous amount of work FOR you with Kip, and then with Diza. I put in extra work on Kip for you. I gave you a discount.
I have sources who witnessed you working with Kip at your school, who you spoke to about Kip, and will testify against you.

2. The people who have Kip are completely, not mostly, but totally satisfied. I have it in writing, and they will testify for me. Kip is NOT overly sensitive, but totally balanced. In fact, he saved their son from a criminal assault.
[NOTE: this is NOT true--I have contaced the family regarding this and this is the direct quote from an email correspondance, " He still need a lot of training to be done. We havent really taken Kipper out in public for quite awhile now.. but when we have visitors
at the house he tend to run and hide..." (Jan 2009) ]

3. Diza, the dog we agreed to swap for Kip, is in a home fulfilling Assistance K9 functions for three different people in the same home.
Isn't it great a trainer was willing to work with you three days. That's about 1-50th of the time I spent.
The great thing is that no matter what anyone says, the truth has, does, and will prevail. The dogs are doing super jobs, and the people with the dogs are totally happy. I tried very hard to please you, and am sorry you have ended up like you have. I hope the best for you, and would suggest you and especially your mom get some good therapy.
Thank you for being a part of the learning process. Bob

Finally, I responded:

Stop playing victim. Everything you've ever told me has been a lie. I'm glad kip has a permanent home...because HE deserves it after the trauma you put him through so YOU could SCAM people out of A LOT of money. You are a sad excuse of a person and dog trainer. A good trainer would not have abused Kip. The family that got him TOLD US you admitted to being harsh with him. You are a criminal and you Know it. I know you are a felon...I just wish all the other people you sell mediocre dogs to knew the same things.
As far as therapy goes...I'm doing very well with it [thank you very much]. I am not, and never have been, the pathological liar you are. I am sending a picture of my new 24/7 'therapist'. He actually lets other people touch him--because he was trained by a REAL trainer [from CQB K9] who never abused him into being something he was not meant to be. Burn in hell--there is nowhere else that would ever be graced by your presence.

Bob Taylor is the worst of the worst! We spent a fortune to get a Service Dog for our son. We loved that dog so very much. The dog bit people and was very jumpy. The humane society took him. Bob Taylor abused our dog so very badly! My son has gone through soooo much due to losing his dog. It has been a few years and my son just looked up dogwish and he is heartbroken to find out just what Cowboy, his service dog, endured. Bob Taylor is evil!

Bob Taylor is a fraud. He has no legitimate and verifiable credentials. He told us, after watching a video of me working with our severely disabled son, that everything I was doing was wrong. I was initially crushed, but soon realized that his man was giving a completely uninformed opinion. He plays with the minds of clients. Just read one of his so called "books" where he describes how he pushed a woman with a mental illness into full recovery! He harassed me on the phone several times, being very rude. He then would call back and tell my husband that he was purposefully upsetting me. To what end, I am not sure. He was very apologetic following the 2 incidents where he was purposefully upsetting me. He is a major con artist and preys on the most vulnerable people.

Im sorry but i had personally worked for bob taylor at dog wish...He is not the "master trainer" he claims to be. I have seen he kick a puppy so hard in the leg it broke, all because she was to scard to be near him. He and his wife also like to talk behind the back of any client if they even so much as talk with the trainers that are training that particular dog. They are also breeding the dogs almost always every six months even though they look really sick, have worms, and fur so matted with dirts and feces and who knows what else, but it is so bad some dogs take about to days for finish brushing completely. When it comes to making the dogs mate he would artificially imsemenate the females. But everytime they have a female that is left over from the rest of the litter, they want to use her for breeding, instead of trying to find the poor creature at home. They dont even try to get the females fixed, only after someone has paid for her or they get a visit from animal control, but even then they pretend to care for the dogs. Not once do they go out there just to spend time with the dogs, the only time they do is if one of them is pregnant and gonna have babies soon or they want to havr more puppies even thought there is already twice to three times as many dogs/puppies then there are kennels. They treat their workers as if they arent people, get mad at them for just taking five mins (even when off the clock) to just sit down to pet and talk with the dogs. He does not provide proper vet care and some dogs have even died from illnesses he could have prevented by geting their proper shots. Example, one of his house dogs was ran over by him and he threw it in the trash can behind the kennels. If you send your dog here it is one of the worst things to do. The dogs there are so sick there is nothing anyone can but take them away from there. They have been given countless deworming medications, flea repellant medications and much more, but they still have problems. Believe me or not its your choice, but this isnt even half of what actually goes on there when the clients are gone

Hello, I spoke with Bob today for the first time and he seemed sincere enough. I know any business has its disagreements with clients and most businesses make it right sometimes. I don't know what to do. We need a service dog and now I am scared and so disappointed. Can you give me your FB page. I want to check everyone out before we proceed with this business.

I talked to Bob for the first time today. I wanted to believe really did. I am shocked anyone would take advantage of our needs for our son like this. I read good and bad here about Bob. Flying to ca I guess is just too much and only three days with this man and not being able to get help closer if we need it I guess is not going to work out. This is why I don'[t trust anyone anymore. My gosh he talked about praying, God and Jesus.s My gosh how horrible. I am so disappointed, but glad I did not tell my son he would be heart sick. I sent him pictures of my son and grandkids. Oh my gosh...

All of the good reviews have been written by Bob Taylor himself. Even the one from his "daughter Amanda"...He's been lying to good people a long time. Somebody should put him in jail for the crimes he's committed against disabled people and for the way he has abused the dogs in his care.

My name is Crys Worley and I would like to share MY experience with Bob Taylor and the DogWish foundation. My 11 year old son has autism and epilepsy. When he wS 5 years old I decided that a service dog would benefit him through his challenging years to come. I saved for 6 years to be able to pay for my son to finally have a service dog. Although my ideal situation was to go to a trainer and have them fit a proper dog for my sons needs, that's not how the plan worked out. My son fell in love with a dog named Duke that was on petfinder.com. After a month of my son obsessing over this dog we finally drove several hours to the shelter to visit him. We ended up adopting Duke and taking him home. I had this wild and crazy idea that maybe I could have him evaluated and trained as my sons service dog but after bringing him home I felt maybe he had too many issues for that to work out. Duke was not a nice dog and was very alpha over my youngest son who was 7 at the time we adopted Duke. Fast forwarding a couple of months, we flew Duke to Bob at DogWish. Duke stayed with Bob for 7 months and we visited Duke twice in between. April 2013 we visited California for 3 weeks to train our family with Duke and brought him home. Fast forwarding an entire year there are several things to highlight. First off, we love Duke and he is one of the most confident and best dogs we have ever had! We currently have 3 large breed dogs so we are a very big dog loving family... Duke goes with us everywhere. We travel a LOT. Duke was on the road with us for 6 weeks summer 2013 in an RV. Duke has a bond with my autistic son that I've never seen before and he also has a great bond with my youngest son although he does not service my youngest. Duke looks like and mostly is a GSD but also has Husky in him which Bob identified within the first 2 minutes of evaluating Duke. I had no idea, he looked like a GSD to me. Duke had to go to level 3 training whatever that is, in order to he the good dog he is today. Duke has a heightened sense of knowing what's going on and how to ### the situation. For instance, my son was in the ER for falling and hitting his head. Duke jumped on top of my son while he was in the hospital bed and barked excessively. The doctors were annoyed and I had no idea what was wrong with Duke because he has never acted like this. Minutes later my son had a seizure episode. After that Duke calmed down and took a nap next to my son. The doctor said "is Duke a seiUre dog or just an autism service dog, I think he was just trying to tell us something." Duke has become a service to the entire family not just a service to my oldest son. Once I was in Best Buy shopping with Duke in hand and my boys running around the store. Duke jumped on my shoulders and started barking in my face. The manager of the store came over and said to me "your dog has to stop barking or you need to leave". I had no clue what the deal was or why he wouldn't stop jumping on me and barkin in my face. Finally I sat down and he stopped. Shortly after I started feeling dizzy and my heart started skipping beats. I can't explain it but I feel like Duke was alerting me to sit down. Over the past 8 years I have had 5 open heart surgeries as well as a few minor surgeries that were heart related. The only thing I can think of for dukes behavior is that he sensed something changing in my body. I went to the cardiologist a few days later who put me on medication to regulate my heart beat. We have now had Duke back in our home for almost an entire year. He has shown protection skills twice since having him back. Once was in Arkansas. We were broken down in an unsafe area and goodsam sent a "mechanic" to fix our RV. Had it not been for Duke we would have been raped and robbed. The mechanic was on crack or something and Duke herded the kids into a group around me and backed into us then growled at the man warning him not to do anything stupid. Long story short it took the man 3 days to tell us that a wire in the alternator came unplugged... He came back to our RV a total of 7 times over the 3 days. He had 1-2 additional sketchy men with him each time and Duke would not let any of them near us. I was a single female in an RV with 4 kids and a dog. Had Duke not been there, I have no idea if I would be here to type today. The second instance where Duke showed protection skills was late at night while we were coming home from dinner. We lived in a loft downtown and a group of men were approaching me and my kids asking for Money. Duke was on a leash going potty and as one of the men started to cross the street and come toward us Duke barked a few times and backed into us while growling. The man dropped a bottle of alcohol and ran while the other men turned around and walked the other way. As far as Duke servicing my son on a daily basis, we would not be able to make it without Duke. He calms the storm in our lives and helps my son with behavioral problems before they become a problem. He helps my son in social situation by being a conversation starter for him helping him talk and have conversations. He helps me as a mom raising a child w autism... I too need a shoulder to lean on that isn't human. He senses my frustrations and has the most gentle approach to tell me to "settle down". I could list hundreds of ways he helps our family as a whole and hundreds of ways that he helps my son who has autism. Bottom line is I have never had an uncomfortable situation with Bob Taylor or felt threatened. I have also never felt that my dog was in danger. Otherwise I wouldn't have left him with Bob for so long! This is not bob Taylor typing, you can google me. I'm a public figure in the autism and skateboarding world and had no connection to bob before using him as our trainer other than contacting him from another autism parent I had met. I have no personal gain from posting this message. I was in shock reading the comments about Bob and Dogwish because it was completely opposite from what my experience was. When reading the negative comments the ways they were written sounds a lot like the way my son with autism reacts when something doesn't go his way or isn't in the order he needs it to be. He explodes or becomes frantic. Persons with mental instability need persons with mental stability to often times be their voice and help them reason with themselves. I understand how a dog can not be a "fit" for a person. Maybe this was the situation and it was blown out of line, I have no idea, but the remarks on here that seem to be false can be harmful to ones reputation and being. Telling the truth without exaggerating is important no matter if it's positive or negative. I am happy to go further into detail about our positive experience with anyone interested in contacting me. Just google my name and it will lead you to me... Thank you! Crys. Worley

Bob Taylor is a complete con artist. We had a horrible experience with this man ultimately ending up in him stealing $2k from us which we gave as a down payment on a seizure dog and him claiming bankruptcy to get out of paying us over $40k a judge awarded us when my 5 year old daughter was bit on his property by one of his dogs. Steer clear of this man and never take anything he says as an honest description of whatever he is trying to sell you on himself. He is truly a horrible man. It makes me sick to see how many people he has scammed out of thousands of dollars.

My name is Jeff Strachan. My telephone number is [protected]. I will not speak to the disturbing and purported business practices, however I can speak to his product as it pertained to us. That said, Duke, our service dog trained for our son with autism, has changed his life, and our lives, forever. For those who do not have autism in their sphere of life, it is impossible to adequately explain. We were not sure if our son would make it out of middle school. We would "spy" on him at school and find him pacing in full automation, mumbling incoherently on the playground at invisible entities. He always ate lunch alone. He has never been invited to a birthday party. He was isolated in his own world. Since Duke been allowed to accompany him on campus, his life has changed. Bob's website under the autism tab speaks directly why and I recommend it to all for perusal. Bob explained it to me as the "energy" given from Duke to our son allow a confidence within the child to break through barriers. Although esoteric to me, in four short months our son has gone from despair to adulation. I just looked on my son's progress report and for the first time in his life he has all A"s. Instead of lamenting school, he cannot wait to get there. The coup de grace is that he was just elected ASB president. After giving his speech, he walked over to Duke and said, "Duke, we are on our way to the Oval Office!" Specific to Duke, and according to multiple teachers, he has been a great addition to the classroom and campus environment, providing an intangible calm. Lastly, I have seen Duke actively engage in passive protection, as Bob told us he would. My hope is that the above critics are hyperbole. His product changed my son's life.

Did you know that if you take an hour to comb out an anxious German Shepard, who is grossly shedding and that is covered in dried saliva and dried on mud and feces, who is covering and hiding under your chair to avoid being combed out (and you are on a chair because you are disabled and cannot squat, stoop or kneel without extreme pain and complications), that you are "milking the clock" and stealing from the employer? I mean, the comb they have you use literally ripped the hair right out of em... that dog as in pain and I was doing all I could to keep her calm and not bite me. And she was shedding so bad, you could only make on pass with the comb and it was full. PLUS if was F'ing windy out so I could not just comb and let the hair fall, I had to put it in a pooper scopper after every brush and make sure it did not blow away I wish I had used it on those backstabbers Martina and Cody... but whatever. That was the worst job in the WORLD! And I bought out of my own pocket, stuff for those dogs too. UGH!

Reading these ridiculous complaints about Bob Taylor's training is very upsetting. Bob Taylor is a Master Trainer and has given my family hope and protection. We met Bob several years ago during a seminar and immediately made an appointment to see him at the DogWish facility. We left Bob's facility with a Seizure Alert/ Search & Rescue/ Autism Service Canine. That day changed our lives. My son would run out into the street, have tantrums at home and in public, would hit himself because he couldn't express his needs and wants. All of that changed when we received an Autism Service Dog for my son from Bob Taylor. As a family we are now able to have a social life. We can go out to eat, watch a movie at the theater, go to amusement parks, and even just go shopping for groceries. None of this was possible before we met Bob and his wonderful Autism Canine. This is just a small part of my story about how Bob Taylor's master dog training techniques has changed our lives for the better. I have met numerous families that have experienced the same positive outcomes from their trained service canines through DogWish.

**PLEASE READ**
My name is Amanda Taylor. I am Bob Taylor’s daughter. I’m taking this time to try and put an end to all this nonsense (though none of this slander is anything I can take away). Unfortunately, most of you who are reading this right now have already read everything above it and think you have a pretty good idea of how DogWish is ran and what my dad is like. I am writing this to tell you MY SIDE. I know this is a “Complaints Board”, but since none of this is erasable, I plan to use it to my advantage.

As a child growing up, I was the eyes and ears of my dad’s dog training business, United Stated K-9 Academy and The DogWish Foundation. Even though as a child I was, obviously, not part of the business, I did however enjoy training, learning, and helping in any way I could because of my love for the dogs and my dad. This being said, I have seen A LOT and heard A LOT from the clients and how the business was ran in the home and on the field.

DogWish is a corporation where you are constantly dealing with people who suffer from Austism, Aspergers, PTSD, Paranoia, psychological problems, and so on. Having these people come into your home and your lives for that matter, gives you a great understanding of what the illness’ consist of. I have seen someone urinate themselves on my own couch to stripping their clothes from head to toe right in front of me; you never know what to expect, but that’s just part of the job. Having such an understanding on how these people function gives me, as well as my dad, a want and need to help them (aka. DogWish). I will and always will love helping those in need and following in my dads footsteps because I’ve seen what a difference it can make in someone’s life.

Now, after that you’ve read and can sort of understand where I stand in this business, and can only imagine how hard it is to read these despicable comments and thoughts on my own father. Especially when I know EXACTLY who has posts them and all the LIES they are trying to spread. First, I want you to go back to DJC3’s post from November 24th, 2010, because he has the nerve to include me in his writing. My family is and always will be left out of Dog Wish because that is no ones business and certainly shouldn’t be on here. Shame on you! This man (notice I’m not using his name) was a drug addict and was FIRED for multiple reasons. Nothing he wrote was true and his post was just a way to share his anger through lies.

PonyLover from April 30th, 2012 was a young lady who stayed in our home for dog training and suffered from multiple mental issues, one being severe paranoia. When she came to stay, she slept right down the hall from my room and was very interactive with the whole family. For her to say she feared my father is just ridiculous and a cry for help on her part. Her dog on the other hand was a beautiful and great working German Shepherd who left our facility perfectly healthy. He already had 1 ½ years of certified Service dog work, and it is documented that he was an excellent dog. Also, by using contacts on the internet, my dad raised the money to pay for him, helping her out tremendously.

For all the rest of these situations, we do not abuse our dogs, we are dog lovers. We do the best we can with each and every dog. Not only is our goal to save a persons life, but save a dogs life too. If you don’t train a dog correctly, they can easily have to be put down or killed by running into the street. When handing a dog off to the owner, we can only hope they follow through with the training so that way we don’t run into problems down the road. We ENCOURAGE frequent visits, if possible, to make sure the dog stays up to date with training and also so we see how much we really did make a positive change in our clients lives.

ANY CURRENT COMMENTS have unfortunately been framed by a former friend and that’s why this website is so ridiculous because anyone can make up a profile and write non-erasable false stories on a business who only hopes to make a positive difference for those in need of a service dog. Please do not let these “so called” experiences influence your thoughts on our business or my father, Bob Taylor for that matter.

Thank you.

My fiance has a dog from Dog Wish and he s perfect for us. The bond was instant between the dog and my fiance. I ve seen it happen at Dog Wish before with another person. My fiance has Asperger s and PTSD. The dog really helps with the anxiety and my fiance is a lot more confident having his dog. He used to refuse to leave the house. Now we go so many places. My fiance also dissociates and the dog brings him back and keeps him safe. My fiance is like a different person now. So many people comment and say the same thing. We have an awesome dog from Dog Wish and we ve found Bob to be very dedicated to helping as many people as he can. They are always willing to work with the families to make sure they get the dog that s right for them.

We had a dog who i loved and cared about and we sent him to dumb ### bob for training he came back super skidish. I was ten years old when he came back and he wouldnt allow me to touch him. Before we sent him to his stupid training camp i was sick. I had a really bad flu and my little dog sat on my lap all night long. It was like he was protecting me! From that point on i was attached to him and loved him with all my heart. So after [censored] bobs [censored] training camp my poor little puppy, who was abused by this [censored], bit my baby sister on the eye. It was bloody and bruised. We had no choice but to put him down. Now my mom complained on a different site and bob called her a liar! BOB IF YOU READ THIS I AM TRULY PISSED OFF! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I too was scammed by this jerk. I trusted him with my family's beloved puppy who after an initial visit told me he could train the dog to be good with my children. Weeks later and alot of money later when we brought our dog home, it was not the same dog we left in his care. I honestly believe they abused our dog, as he was skidish and a day later bit my child in front of me for reaching her hand to pet him on the head. My child is lucky to have vision and no major injuries. But the emotional trauma our family went through when we had to give our dog to live on in tree yard and never see him again. I still miss him. The money was another issue, and I blame the judge who obviously was either crooked our uncaring as to not rule in our favor.
Never ever trust this man with an animal and if best train along side your dog at all times.
I got another dog and someone came out and showed me how to train our dog with great success. I am now confident with what I have learned. It is unfortunate I had to learn a lesson the hard way.

BEWARE OF THIS MAN. HE IS A LIAR AND A CHEAT...We purchased two service dogs from Bob Taylor, not only were they not service dogs but he abused my son's dog. The Male dog is still scared to death of people. The female has shoulder and hip problems so bad that the vet told us she will not live another 2 years. He promised all these things and required payment up front. We paid him 15, 000.00 and believed him when he told us all the crap he feeds to everyone. We should have done our research and checked with the attorney generals office. He is not certified to train service dogs. We now have two German shepherds and neither one of them can do service. It is sad that he still can smooth talk his way into lives of families that struggle everyday and now I see he is going after senior citizens. BEWARE OF THIS MAN AND HIS PROMISES. He told one mother when he was with them in their home that he has been sued some many times it does not bother him anymore.

I got a beautiful German Shepherd from Mr. Taylor. I'm from Northern, CA and have Autism and I'm now 28. I was around 24 when I got this dog... I went down and stayed with them for about three days. I felt unsafe and scared like he might rape or attack me. We had the dog with us at all times and he HATED Bob! So I felt safer. I found out later that the dog I get was a reject from another person. Well no wonder he hated men, other dogs, was highly tense, etc Then found out from a breeder in our town he was from Mexico and failed as a Police dog there! He was so high stung and was starting to get sick(Throwing up EVERY THING) that I had to give to my friend. She took him and after spending around $7, 000 found out his intestines were not connected to his stomach! So we put him down after 17, 000 + dollars + sweat and LOTS of crying. I really got attached to that dog. He was my life for almost a year! Still miss him horrible and still need a service dog! But no money thanks to Mr. Taylor...

Kipper, the dog in question here, ended up as a trained Police Dog, now actively serving, and doing a great job with his new handler. It's amazing that with proper training Kipper, who was said to be shy, actually went all the way and works as a professional Police K9.

I'll bet Bob Taylor wrote those good reviews himself.

To Anonymous_21 (I stumbled upon this complaint looking for bob T phone number)
I personally, on many occasions worked/played with kipper. He is an extremely affectionate GSD as well as overly eager to please. Kipper is A balanced, confident GSD when I last saw him..Since my dogs are the grandparents of kipper I take A personal stake in his well being, I am sickened to find his condition After 6mo. In your care .When kipper was sold to Anonymous_21 he left Bob hands a confident self assured GSD (note: I worked/played with kipper 1 week before he was sold) ... I will testify to these facts in a court of law...
You should be ashamed Anonymous_21, I am so upset with your “apparent “abuse of kipper, You bought a happy, balanced GSD and returned him abused, scared, under weight, emotionality traumatized and compromised puppy “IN your own words “ ..PS my Puppy dogs would like a word with you!
Kipper deserved better! Shame on you & thank God you returned him to bob …
PSS
You do understand, If you felt kipper had been abused when you bought him (liar!) why would you return Kipper to his supposed abuser? … (Liar! I on my way with kippers grand parents to see Kipper today

To all the people who have been ripped off by Robert "Bob" Taylor, Owner and President of the United States K9 Academy (www.US-K9.com) and the Dogwish Foundation (www.Dogwish.org).
I used to work for Bob Taylor from 9/2006 through 6/2007 as his Vice-President of Marketing/Sales. I resigned from my position after finding out Bob Taylors' business practices.
He would falsify rabies vaccinations and many other documents, some being legal. Sometimes he would hold back from paying his employees just to satisfy his own interests. His bank paperwork, non-profit paperwork, and others, are falsified, forged, and/or don't match up. He has lied to many clients and has manipulated some beyond belief. He has had dogs die on him due to lack of veterinary care and I have witnessed him bury them right there at his old property at 8725 Cedar St., in Phelan, Ca..(He has moved a couple of times since then). You might have walked over a couple of them if you have been out to that property. Be careful with Bob Taylor, because he is an extremely smooth talker and he will look you straight in the eye, with a smile, and lie to you! Just as he did with his former wife, who happened to partner up with their son and daughter and kick him out of the house, serving him divorce papers. Bob Taylor has cheated on his wife, more than once and, he will definitely cheat you if your not careful! Bob Taylor has embezzled money from his non-profit, the Dogwish Foundation, and used it for his own pleasures. Also, if you research all the awards he says he has, some of them are actually made up or twisted somewhat to his benefit. I have witnessed him tell clients, many times, that he can do the training that's wanted with their dog/s and then deliver substandard results, over and over... Bob Taylor is a fraud! Oh, by the way, he owes me $5600.00 which I'll never see either. Another thing that Bob will do is, he'll write down comments to all your complaints you put on these websites, pretending to be an actual client of his but, if you check on the computers used on putting these comments on here, I bet that the I.P. address for the computer used is within his reach.
Good luck, ...

My name is Connie R. I have have had the privilege of knowing Mr. Bob Taylor for over twenty years. He trained and helped us become responsible dog owners for our two black labs, one of which was a biter. Throughout all these years, I have used Bob Taylor's training techniques with many of our canines with tremendous success. I recently adopted a Pit Bull and knew that I could only take my canine so far and felt she needed that extra training only a certified skilled canine trainer could do. I sought out Mr. Bob Taylor again, to have my Pit Bull certifed for therapy assistance. In a short time, Mr. Taylor not only trained our dog in obedience but also as my personal medical alert service assistance canine for my diabetes.

I did have the privilege of meeting Kipper at a seminar put on by Bob Taylor. While at the seminar, Kipper kept coming up to me, pushing against me constantly as well as another Bob Taylor trained assistance canine Vulcan. I took my blood sugar and it read 387 which meant that I was in need of my insulin. I would say both Vulcan and Kipper made me a true believer of what Bob Taylor can and does for the disabled community. I have been to the home of Kipper and his owners and have witnessed the bond he has with his family. Every canine placed in a home needs some tweaking and Bob Taylor has provided that and now Kipper's family has a dog that not only provides service assistance but home protection as well.

Follow through is important as the previous commentor stated and without taking on the responsibility it takes to own one of these valuable canines, success can only be taken so far. Bob Taylor is available twenty-four hours a day to help assist any of his clients. As a long time client, I recommend Bob Taylor without question in his ability to understand not only the canine but the family needs as well.

I met Bob Taylor in the year of 2007. My family has received not only one but two autism assistance canines from Bob Taylor. These dogs saved our lives. Bob's dogs literally work miracles everyday. They are trained in Search & Rescue, Seizure Alert, and Protection. They both are able to calm and keep my son safe.

Now that I've been training with Bob Taylor for the past two years I have seen so many dogs trained in obedience, protection, tracking, and seizure alert as well as high level assistance canines. One of those dogs was Kipper. Kipper is an amazing canine. He is now providing assistance to a family with a child with autism. Kipper is trained in obedience, seizure alert, search & rescue, and protection. I've seen Kipper working with his boy and the bond they share is unbelievable.

If you were having a problem with Kipper it is probably because you didn't follow through. Bob Taylor always makes it clear that if anyone should run into any problems they should call him immediately so he can resolve the problem. Bob's canines are not trained to be robots but rather are trained to think for themselves which makes them able to provide the highest quality assistance possible to their owners. I've seen so many irresponsible dog owners that only could they make an amazing dog not work well. It is the responsibility of the dog owner to follow through with training. All though the canines are fully trained they are unbelievably smart and will act accordingly to their owner. If the owner is not responsible then how is the canine supposed to be responsible. Many service dog owner's make the mistake of not respecting and treating their dogs appropriately. They expect their dogs to work miracles without any responsibility and/or commitment from themselves.

Bob Taylor is an amazing dog trainer and anyone who is privileged to own a dog from him has the best there is. Plain and simple.
