Autoloss Diminished value service

Don't waste your time with Autoloss. They give the impression that you will get a huge settlement and a lot out of them-until you pay them. After that, I'm pretty sure their policy is to give you the absolute minimum amount of their time as possible-if you get a full 20 minutes out of them, you're probably way above average. Claimed my DV was $7000 and I should get 80-90% of that. But using Autoloss DV manual and correspondence they provide, resulted in an offer no better than $750. And this was over the course of at least 3 months. Of course, Autoloss heavily implies that I'm doing something wrong with Their process - it absolutely isn't anything wrong with their method. Yeah, right! It isn't like they take the time to even remember who you are when you talk to or email them. All you get it very generic responses that really just prolong the frustrating process to get you a tiny offer, that the insurance company hopes will be enough to make you go away. The letters they give you to send to the insurance company are full of errors and contain the details from the last customer - it is absolutely on you to edit & fix these things. Autoloss provides zero communication with the Insurance company. That is all on you and you will absolutely work harder on it than Autoloss will. I have no idea how they have even a single positive review and I wish I would have paid more attention to the the negative reviews before I decided to use their services. Absolutely pursue a DV claim on your car. Just use a company that has Zero negative reviews. They are out there.

Desired outcome: Inform those looking for DV services - maybe even get a refund

Autoloss Deminished value of my automobile from a head on collison

I was in a head on Collison on May 12, 2022 which was not my fault, I had a 2022 Nissan Murano that was less than 30 days old . My insurance company refused to total it with 7 air bags deployed and a bent frame, 5 months later and $30K in repairs I traded it in when it came out of the shop. Autoloss said they could get me the loss of value Approximately $15K and I paid them $350. which is supposed to be 100% refundable if they fail to do so. They have done nothing for me, and refuse to refund my money. I have sent them countless emails and documents they ask for and their response is, they don't have the paperwork This is such a scam, I would not recommend them to anyone! They are a fraud!

Desired outcome: I would like my $350.00 returned to me as they did nothing to help me

Autoloss Appraisal services

Horrible horrible horrible

scammers stay away from them

like a lot of other reviews online about the same issue

they would promise you a full refund of your money if your claim gets denied with the insurance and even though it gets denied and you appeal and still gets denied and follow every single step of the process they still would not refund you your money going against their own website policy which they put to scam you to go with them versus any of of the other auto appraisals online

putting aside their rude customer service monica

Desired outcome: Refund of my $350

Autoloss Appraisal

I paid autoloss $350, to provide diminished value quote, after an accident with significant damaged. Be aware, they will only provide a quote, (without any proof or supporting information). You will be required to provide all supporting information to back-up their quote: dealer appraisals (if you can even get 1), pay for additional carfax reports, etc.

This company also falsely claims to have "numerous full-time staff". Monica fisher (owner) is the only employee. Don't dare call her for any information or clarification. Called for the first time to clarify her email; she was literally yelling and interrupted any question I tried asking, for taking 5 mins of her time. This woman is insane.

Desired outcome: refund

Autoloss AutoLoss

I read reviews and decided to try autoloss for my diminished value on an auto accident not caused by me. The insurance company had no funds to pay me, insured was underinsured. I was charged $325.00 and have not received anything but a runaround from Monica. I have asked for a refund since I am out over $7000.00 on my dimininshed value and the $325.00 they charged me.

I would like a refund for the amount paid since I have no satisfaction.

She has since not responded to my request and I have asked numerous times. This has been going on for over a year.

Desired outcome: A refund for $325.00 is what I am looking for.

Autoloss statement of loss

To be fair, Autoloss did a lot of work on my behalf. They came up with a professional and accurate statement of loss. They responded to all of my e-mails quickly. They sent all of the paperwork to State Farm on my behalf. They answered all of my questions within a day or two. They were able to get my co-worker a $9, 000 settlement from her insurance company on her crash. They did everything they said they would do and were great to work with... until they weren't.

Unfortunately, State Farm refused to play ball and neither of us were able to get State Farm to agree to give a settlement. Which is OK. We knew that might happen. And, Autoloss promises a refund you can't recoup from the insurance company. That's why I went with them in the first place. They keep the $250 if I get a settlement - I get it back if I meet all their requirements and can't get a settlement from insurance. Sounds like an amazing deal... except I can't give them to refund me!

On 12/5/16, I got an e-mail from support saying "I have pulled your file for a formal refund review.  Thanks for sending this, Tyler.  I will have an updated for you in 24-48 hours.

Erik Lea
Support Team Manager
Autoloss.com"

I never heard back from them after that. So on 12/22/16 I e-mailed back. He said "I will be sure to ask my boss for an update on your file.  I submitted my formal review to her for approval."

Still no response after that. So, I e-mailed Monica, the owner. She said I didn't get the refund approval because I didn't meet the requirements to get one. The requirements are: send an e-mail asking for one (I did...), confirm my address (they have had that the whole time) and tell them how much I paid them (How do they not have that info?) Obvious diversion tactics. She said the refund requirements are available on her web site so I should have known. Why would I go to their web site when their employee told me he was working on it for me?

Regardless, I met their requirements and got an e-mail from Monica on January 5th saying I'd have the refund in 30 to 90 days.

Counting today, it's now been 106 days and no check. I e-mailed Monica April 11th and she said the check had been mailed. They're based in Portland. I live in Portland. If the check had truly been mailed, I'd have it by now. Traffic is really bad in Portland, but it should be here by now.

This company is awesome to work with... until you ask for a refund. Then, good luck!

Autoloss The lady agent told me wrong sum of the appraisal

I called to the company www.autoloss.com, because I wanted to get the appraisal of my car. I spoke with the lady agent and after 40 minutes of filling all forms and papers, she finally told me that the appraisal would be ready within two days. After 3 days I called again and the same lady told me that the result. But I was suspicious and decided to try services of another company. In result, the sums of the appraisal were different. This company lied to me, but I don’t know why.

Autoloss Do Not Use Autoloss.com

DO NOT USE AUTOLOSS.COM 11/24/14
Autoloss.com is the most unprofessional diminished value appraisal company and should not be patronized. Please do not support this business …it propagates bad business values and extremely poor customer service.
I believe in business (no matter what your profession), we all have customers (either internal or external) and therefore customer service is the key to retention of current clients and expansion to reach new ones. I was a customer of Autoloss.com. I fell for the beaming celebrity quotes, previous customer feedback and ticker flashing the comparison of the offer amount to the settlement amount flashing on their website. I figured with all the positive recommendations and the 100% Money Back Guarantee this would be the perfect company to assist with my diminished valued report for my car accident. I was quickly serviced once I provided my money and information and the turn-around time for the report was amazing. I received it in days. I went to court and the judge rendered his verdict in my favor, however he did not consider the diminished value report at all. No worries…It shouldn’t have been a big deal because they have a 100% Money back guarantee …right!? ….yeah right ….
I contacted Monica Fisher and inquired about initiating the 100% Money Back Guarantee process to retrieve my funds. She initially asked for the denial letter. I informed her that judge denied it completely in court; I provided the amount of the judgment and the % of the repairs that I was granted. I had previously provide the estimate of the repairs to Monica because it was needed to complete the Diminished Value Report, simple subtraction would have yielded that the money spent to obtain the report was not granted to me in the settlement. One week went by (with me asking for feedback with 4 separate e-mails to her ) and she never replied, so I called and spoke with a really helpful customer service rep (David) at autoloss.com who instructed me to send the judgment via e-mail. I did. She responded that the judgment didn’t show that the DV report was turned down …again simple math would have deduced this information. She responded 2 weeks after I sent my initial request for my money back stating “We need something showing you got nothing for DV in writing.. Thanks, Monica”…okay, no problem…or so I thought. I contacted the court, and the provided a letter directly from the judge on the court’s letterhead stating that the DV report was not considered AT ALL. I provided this document to Monica via e-mail and even copied the judge’s assistant. I got notices that my e-mails were received and read but still she would not reply. So I followed up several times before she responded (days later) stating “We will need to call the judge and confirm the letter. Thanks, Monica”…. Okay…by this time it’s been 6 weeks since I initially asked for my money back. When I asked for an estimated time of completion she responded days later stating “We will be calling over to check on the letter.. Thanks, Monica” …Okay…so you need to make a phone call to confirm the letter that you requested as confirmation? …. I followed up the next week to ask if the phone call had been completed ….I got a notice that my e-mail was deleted without being read. Now…I consider myself somewhat patient (contrary to my husband’s opinion…lol) but this is now becoming ridiculous. I then reached out directly to David for assistance. He never responded. Another week goes by and Eureka! I finally got a response. It stated, “We will have our CPA mail you out a check.. What is your address and your fee was XXX? They mail out the check every 30-90 days. Thanks, Monica” I quickly provided my address and waited…. 6 weeks later and still nothing. So I sent another e-mail asking Monica for a more definitive date for my reimbursement. Again, I got the notice that my e-mail was deleted without being read. By this time, this is just poor business practices so I contacted the Better Business Bureau. I even copied them on what I had considered my last e-mail to Monica and referenced my complaint number in the subject line. Oddly enough she responded in less than 24 hours stating that they had just mailed the check out …what do ya’know…lol. I received the check a few days later and it had been pre-dated for a month prior to when it was actually sent….smh…I gave my long detailed story just to reiterate …..DO NOT USE AUTOLOSS.COM unless you have 4 months, a bunch of e-mail and patience to waste!
