Price gouging
We had a small pipe leak in our unfinished basement. It had already been patched and needed replacing. Called several plumbers on 11/23/2022 and Aiello was the only one who got back to us, which was great, and a plumber came out 2 days later, which was also great. (We told them this was not an emergency and there was no big rush.) BUT after him spending an hour to replace two pipes and a valve, the bill was $700! For ONE HOUR of labor and inexpensive parts, I feel this charge was extremely high. The plumber said this was not a holiday or rush charge--just their typical rate.
Desired outcome: More reasonable charge for the work done.
After speaking with a manager at the company, they deducted $100 from the charge. The interactions were professional. Still seemed exceptionally high, but at least it was something.
Pricing
Price gouging...$400 for 5 minutes of soldering. I had no heat and no water on Christmas eve, 20 degrees outside, and no other options. Do not use this company.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
