Cologuard? Cologuard Review: A Good Option, But Don't Rely Solely on It for Colon Cancer Screening

This test, Cologuard, it worked for me. I can't deny that, and I'm grateful. But, let me tell you, don't be lazy. Especially if this is your first ever colonoscopy test. The problem I have is the time it takes to correct. The test itself, the time it takes to review, and getting the results can take 2-3 weeks. That's a lot of time wasted.

Let's say you test positive for cancer cells on the test. Now you have to talk to your doctor, get insurance approval, and have to have a colonoscopy anyway. So, as much as I appreciate the work Cologuard put forth to find the cancer results, take the time to do it right at age 48-50 at the latest and get a full colonoscopy, not just Cologuard. A full colonoscopy can save your life.

My wife wanted to do Cologuard because she thought everything would be normal. But, now we have to deal with a peach-sized tumor and hope for the best. It's scary, but we're grateful that we caught it when we did.

Overall, I would recommend Cologuard as a good option for those who are unable to have a colonoscopy or for those who are at a higher risk for colon cancer. But, don't rely solely on this test. Take the time to get a full colonoscopy and make sure you're doing everything you can to stay healthy.

Cologuard? Frustrating Experience with Cologuard Test Order Process - Lack of Communication and Care for Patients

So, I was thinking about getting the Cologuard test, but I haven't even gotten the kit yet and I'm already having second thoughts. My doctor's office didn't send in the order, so I had to email or fax it myself. I did that, but then I didn't hear anything back. I was getting pretty frustrated, so I finally called to see what was going on. Turns out, they got my email, but the order was missing some code they needed to process it. Did they let me or my doctor's office know? Nope. They just cancelled the order without saying anything.

I mean, come on. If Cologuard is supposed to be all about helping people stay healthy, why are they making it so hard to even get started? And it's not just me - if you look at the other reviews, there are a lot of people who have had similar problems. It's like they don't care about their patients at all.

Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm even going to bother with this test now. I can't afford a colonoscopy, but I don't want to deal with a company that doesn't seem to care about me or my health. It's frustrating, but I guess I'll just have to hope for the best.

Cologuard? Ridiculous Colon Cancer Screening Test: My Experience with the Poop Bucket

This test is just ridiculous, I tell you what. I mean, how in the world are you supposed to know how much to poop? They don't even put enough fixative in there, so if you poop too much, you're out of luck. I had to send my sample in twice because of this. They said they could send me a new kit, but I ain't about to poop in a bucket again. No sir.

I don't know how older folks are supposed to do this test. It's just too darn difficult. And let me tell you, if they charge my insurance for this, I'm gonna be one unhappy camper.

I wish I could show you pictures of the size of my dump in that bucket. It was just ridiculous. But I guess that's just the way it goes with these kinds of tests.

Cologuard? Cologuard Review: Unscientific and Untrustworthy Screening Method for Cancer Detection

I recently tried out Cologuard, a test that claims to detect both blood and cancer DNA in your stool. While the lab can determine if the result is positive for either of these, they won't differentiate between the two. This is a big issue that they conveniently leave out of their marketing materials.

If the result is positive for blood, it could be caused by something as simple as low water consumption. However, Cologuard won't tell you that. Instead, they'll leave you anxious and worried, potentially leading you to make the decision to get a colonoscopy based on fear rather than logic. This is unscientific and unacceptable.

On a lighter note, I found it amusing that Cologuard provides a container for you to collect your stool sample in. I even wondered if they could differentiate between human cancer DNA and dog cancer DNA if I used the container while walking my dog!

Overall, I would advise against using Cologuard or any other screening method that isn't trustworthy. Instead, consider relying on a furry friend who can sniff out cancer more accurately than dishonest humans.

Cologuard? Unreliable and Draining: My Experience with the Cologuard Test

So, I recently got a Cologuard test done, and let me tell you, it was not a pleasant experience. My doctor recommended it, and I thought it would be a good idea to get it done. But boy, was I wrong! The test came back positive, and my doctor was worried that I might have a rupture. So, I had to undergo a Colonoscopy, which was not a walk in the park, let me tell you. Unfortunately, my doctor was not able to complete the entire test due to the risk of rupture.

After that, I had to go through a Barium Enema, which was just as uncomfortable and embarrassing as the Colonoscopy. But, to my dismay, the test was ruled a failure, and I had to go through another test. This time, it was a CT scan, which involved drinking the disgusting barium and getting a contrast IV. The results of the CT scan were negative, and it turned out that the Cologuard test was a false positive!

All of these tests were done within a seven-month time frame, and I also had to undergo two unrelated surgeries during that time. Needless to say, it was a very emotionally and physically draining experience. My advice to anyone thinking of getting a Cologuard test is to please think twice before getting it done. It is an unreliable and money-making test from Exact Sciences. Instead, just go ahead and get a colonoscopy. It may not be the most pleasant experience, but it is a much more reliable test.

Cologuard? Cologuard Test Review: Easy to Use, Peace of Mind, but Billing Process Needs Improvement

about this experience.

So, I heard about this Cologuard test from my doctor and decided to give it a try. I was a bit hesitant at first, but my doctor insisted that it was important to get tested. I went to the website cologuardtest.com and ordered the test kit. The process was pretty simple and straightforward. I received the kit in the mail a few days later and followed the instructions to collect my sample.

After sending in my sample, I received my results within a week. I was relieved to find out that everything was normal. The test was able to detect any potential signs of colon cancer, which gave me peace of mind. I would definitely recommend this test to anyone who is due for a colon cancer screening.

However, I did have some issues with the billing process. I spoke to a couple of people who told me that Medicare would not cover the test because I am just under 50. My primary insurance wanted me to fill out a form stating that they would bill Medicare first and if they did not pay, I would be responsible for it. I explained to them multiple times that Medicare is my secondary insurance, but they still insisted that I fill out the form. It was frustrating to deal with, but eventually, they agreed to bill my primary insurance first and then Medicare.

Overall, I am happy with my experience with Cologuard. The test was easy to use and gave me peace of mind. However, the billing process could use some improvement. I would still recommend this test to anyone who is due for a colon cancer screening.

Cologuard? Cologuard Review: False Positive Result and Unreliable Test

I was really excited to try out Cologuard, despite my family doctor's warning against it. I mean, who wants to go through the hassle and discomfort of a colonoscopy, right? But boy, was I in for a surprise. After sending in my sample, I received a "positive" result, which meant I had to go through with a follow-up colonoscopy. What a bummer!

But here's the kicker - according to Cologuard's own admission, there's a high chance of getting a false positive result. In fact, they told me that out of 1600 patients who received a "positive" result, only 4% actually had cancerous polyps. That means a whopping 96% of people who tested "positive" were given a false result. Yikes!

My family doctor was right - why bother with the hassle of collecting a sample and sending it off to the lab, when you can just get a colonoscopy and be done with it? Not to mention the stress and worry that comes with receiving a "positive" result. I have to wonder why the FDA even approved this test in the first place, if its results are so unreliable.

In the end, I opted for a colonoscopy and was relieved to find out that I had nothing to worry about. No polyps, no cancer, nothing. It's a shame that the Exact Sciences Corporation seems more concerned with making a profit than providing a truly "exact" and reliable test, as their name suggests.

Cologuard? My Disappointing Experience with the Cologuard Test: A Review

I was about to have my first colonoscopy and I didn't want to go through an invasive test, so I decided to try the Cologuard test. I used to be a shareholder of this company and I was excited to see how their test worked. Unfortunately, my experience with them was not as pleasant as I hoped.

First of all, they sent my test to the wrong address even though I gave them the address I wanted it sent to. They sent it to my billing address, which is a PO box. I still received my test, but much later than I would have if they had sent it to the correct address. I don't understand why they couldn't get my shipping address right, but I brushed it off as a simple mistake. However, I now see that these hiccups were not the exception to the rule in my dealings with Exact Sciences/Cologuard. Despite this, I received my test, so I don't want to harp on the inconvenience of them getting that wrong.

I went through the process of taking the sample, which was quite gross. I had to scrape a stick along the edges of my feces and stick that sample into a test tube. I poured some preservative liquid on the rest of the sample, screwed the cap on exactly the way they asked me to, which was actually easier said than done, placed it in the plastic bag inside the box, sealed it up, and called them to arrange the pickup. The process of taking the sample and the sort of poop fingerpainting they wanted me to partake in was actually quite gross, but I figured it was better than having to drink that horrible chalky milkshake and do the real deal test.

I called the number, followed the instructions to a tee, and shipped it back, or so I thought, all of which was arranged through Exact Sciences. I left to go out of the country, and weeks passed before I returned. I received yet another package from Exact Sciences at my PO box. I called them to find out what was going on, and they told me that they shipped my sample back to me. Needless to say, I was way irritated at this point. Why would they ship it back to me? What is wrong with these people? They are the ones who arranged the pickup, so how do they now go on to get this wrong too? Why would they pick up the sample at my home and then send it back to the address that I specifically requested that they not send me mail there unless it involved billing? Either ship it to Exact Sciences or throw it away! I don't want to deal with this crap... LITERALLY! They wanted to ship me yet another test so I could redo it, but I told them that I'm done! I just can't anymore with these total effff ups. I had better not get a bill for this ISH either!

There's a BIG problem when a person decides that going under general anesthesia and drinking those chalky milkshakes and all that a colonoscopy entails is much less hassle than dealing with your company. I can't believe I'm actually having to say this.

Thanks Cologuard, but no thanks! I'll take my chances with risking my life going under and having to be invaded by sticking a camera where the sun don't shine vs dealing with you people ever again! It's a sad day! I'm so glad I sold all of my stock.

Cologuard? Effortless Cologuard Kit Experience With Clear Instructions & Quick Return Process

Got the cologuard kit in a jiffy after my doc told me I needed it. Easy peasy lemon squeezy to use, even for a dummy like me. The instructions spelt out like I was talking to a cave man which was super helpful. Returning it after I was done was also a breeze.

NanaMacs is an incredibly trendy boutique but its so much more than that. Their mission and customer service is always next level. They remedy issues quickly with a friendly and professional attitude. Their engagement with customers is always positive and supportive and that is one of the primary reasons I continue to purchase from this company! 10/10.

I have been ordering from them for years and used to rave about the company in all aspects. Slowly throughout the years, though, they're service has declined. They've become more expensive and longer to receive orders. The return policy is not great, and you must remember that even though they advertise free shipping, it can take a month or longer to receive your orders. There are better boutiques that match what Nanamacs USED to be.

Cologuard? Cologuard Test Review: Quick and Easy, But Don't Rely Solely on Results

I just used the Cologuard test and it was really great! The whole thing was simple and easy to do. I was nervous when I got my results because they came back as positive. I was stressed out for a couple of weeks because I thought I might have colon cancer. But then I went to the doctor and had a colonoscopy. Lucky for me, they didn't find anything wrong!

But here's the thing, I worry that if your test comes back negative there might be something wrong that you don't know about. So, my advice is to go ahead and get a colonoscopy anyway. It's better to be safe than sorry, right? You never know what could be lurking in there!

I think the Cologuard test is a great option for people who are looking for an easy way to check for colon cancer. The whole process was super easy and I got my results quickly. But like I said before, it's always best to be sure and get a colonoscopy if you can. It's the only way to be 100% sure that everything is okay.

So, if you're looking for a quick and easy way to check for colon cancer, the Cologuard test might be right for you. Just keep in mind that a negative result doesn't always mean everything is fine. It's always a good idea to get a colonoscopy too!

Cologuard? Beware of Cologuard Test & Exact Science's Hidden Cost & Business Ethics

So I took the Cologuard test from cologuardtest.com. My insurance, they were like "No way, Jose!" I'm all like "What the heck?" So I call up the company, Exact Science, and they straight up fibbed to my doc about the cost. I was all, "That's shady, yo." I had to fight the system and make a ton of phone calls just to appeal the denied coverage. Long story short, I got slapped with a three-hundred-dollar bill to take a test that isn't even 100% accurate. Exact Science, lemme tell ya, they're one sneaky bunch. The whole thing stinks of bad business ethics.

Cologuard? My Frustrating Experience with Cologuard and Healthcare Providers

So, I used Cologuard last summer on account of my parent getting diagnosed with colon cancer. The test cost me a whopping $600, and it had to be mailed to me by my healthcare provider. Speaking of my healthcare provider, they reported not receiving my test results. I went to two separate appointments with my healthcare clinician, and they just kept telling me that the results hadn't arrived yet. Talk about frustrating! And it's not like the situation got any better - last October my healthcare clinician moved offices and I STILL don't have my test results. All that money down the drain and nothing to show for it - what a bummer!

Cologuard? Colonguard Testing Kit Review: Is it Worth the Hassle?

To be honest, it took me a good few weeks to get hold of the Colonguard testing kit. I had to plan my life around getting the sample back to them on time, as I only had a three day window. I couldn't send it back on the weekends or holidays, so it was a challenge. But when the results came back positive, I panicked.

It took another few weeks for me to get a colonoscopy and an EGD. Mercifully, they both turned out to be negative. It was a long and stressful three-month process, but it was a relief to know that my digestive system was healthy.

To be fair, my insurance did cover the Colonguard, but they didn't pay as much for the colonoscopy and EGD. So, is it really worth the hassle? I say no.

Cologuard? Cologuard Test Review: Inaccurate and Anxiety-Inducing

I gotta say, when I heard about Cologuard, I was all for it. I mean, who wants to go in for a colonoscopy, right? Especially during Covid times when everything is all crazy and whatnot. So, I went ahead and did the test and boy was that a mistake.

It came back positive, and I was scared out of my wits. I told the docs about it, but they were all "eh, those tests aren't accurate, don't worry about it". I had to wait 7 freaking months to finally get a colonoscopy. Can you even believe it? All that time, I was stressing out whether I had cancer or not.

When I finally did the colonoscopy, lo and behold, nothing was there. No polyps, no nothing. So, basically the Cologuard test was all for nothing. It just made me anxious for months and was not accurate at all.

So, take my advice, don't make the same mistake I did. Just go ahead and get the real test done. Yes, the prep is gross and all, but hey, at least you're asleep for the procedure and it's over in no time.

Don't rely on Cologuard, it'll just make you worry for nothing.

Cologuard? The Hassle of Cologuard: My Experience with a Colon Cancer Screening Test

Man, let me tell you about my experience with Cologuard. It's a colon cancer screening test that my doctor recommended because my family has a history of the disease. I thought, hey, anything to catch it early, right?

But let me tell you, the process of getting this test was a real pain in the you-know-what. I waited for almost a whole month for them to ship it to me, only to find out that I didn't even exist in their system. My doctor had to fax the order FOUR MORE TIMES before they finally got it.

And then, to top it all off, my insurance wouldn't cover it because I'm under 50. It doesn't matter that colon cancer runs rampant in my family - they just won't pay for it. So I had to agree to pay for it myself. And this thing costs a whopping $649! They wouldn't even send it to me unless I paid for it up front.

I mean, seriously? Who has that kind of money just laying around? Not me, that's for sure. I wasted a whole dang month jumping through hoops only to find out that my insurance wouldn't cover it and I couldn't afford it. It's ridiculous, I tell you.

So if you're thinking about getting Cologuard, just be prepared for a headache. The test itself might be good, but the process of getting it is a real pain.

Cologuard? Why Cologuard Just Wasn't for Me: A Review

I gotta say, my experience with Cologuard wasn't too great. You see, the previous reviewer had a really rough time with them, and I totally sympathize. Cologuard just isn't meant for everyone. Neither my doctor nor the previous reviewer's should have recommended it, and neither should any doctor if you ask me.

Let me tell ya, working with Cologuard was like banging my head against a brick wall.
1. First of all, if you're younger than 50 or have a family history or symptoms of colon cancer, you're out of luck. They won't cover you.
2. Plus, if you're dealing with UTIs, menstruation, hemorrhoids, or any other similar ailments, you might end up with a false positive, which ain't great.
3. A false positive means you'll probably need a colonoscopy. Yikes.
4a. And don't even think about using Cologuard if you've got a family history of colon cancer. They just won't work with you.
4b. To top it off, the customer service folks aren't very friendly.
6. Also, if you're experiencing any symptoms in your GI tract, steer clear of Cologuard.
7. Another thing to note is that Cologuard doesn't differentiate between blood inside your body and blood outside it. That's not exactly reassuring.
8. I'm honestly not sure why my doc recommended this test to me when it's clearly not suited to my needs. I told 'em that Cologuard would likely give me a false positive and they said the same thing.

It's really a shame that the previous reviewer had to go through all of this, especially since they were hoping to use Cologuard to screen for colon cancer due to their family history. I feel for 'em, really I do.

In the end, I opted for a cheaper FIT test at a local lab. It was able to tell the difference between the different types of blood, and it only set me back a fraction of what Cologuard wouldve cost. I still don't understand why Cologuard is so darn expensive if it can't even differentiate between types of blood, but hey, I'm not here to judge.

I'm just really glad I found out that Cologuard wasn't the right option for me. Those robo calls and rude customer service folks just weren't worth my time. And when I told them I wasn't going through with the test, they told me to just toss it! Can you believe it?

Overall, dealing with Cologuard was a waste of my time and energy. I recommend speaking with your doctor and finding a better screening option for your colon.

The use of this song is VERY disrespectful, Frank Sinatra must be turning over in his grave. When your commercial comes on, we either change channels or use the mute button. Cologuard? Unfair pricing and inadequate results: My experience with Cologuard

This company ain't good for people who don't have insurance. They don't wanna talk about lowering the price, even though they take less from insurance companies. It's not fair that people without insurance gotta pay more. My insurance covered a real colonoscopy but not Cologuard 'cause they don't pay for preventative care. They don't care about your health, they just want your money. Plus, their test only finds 42% of precancerous polyps, while colonoscopy finds 95%. I coulda spent less and got better results.

Cologuard? Cologuard Review: Don't Waste Your Time and Money, Get the Real Thing

Listen up folks! I gotta tell ya, my experience with Cologuard was not a good one. My doctor told me to take the test a few months back and boy, was that a mistake. I got a call from my doc saying I had a positive result and needed a colonoscopy. Let me tell ya, I was a mess for two whole months. My poor husband probably wanted to run for the hills. But today, I finally got the colonoscopy and guess what? I'm all good for the next 10 years!

Honestly, I wish I had read some reviews before taking the test because they are not good. I mean, seriously, what a waste of money and time. These people are just trying to make a quick buck off of us.

So, do yourself a favor and just get the real deal. Don't put yourself through unnecessary stress and anxiety. Trust me, it's not worth it. And if you're worried about the cost, just remember that your health is priceless.

In conclusion, I'm just glad that I'm okay and that I can move on with my life. But seriously, don't make the same mistake I did. Get the real thing and save yourself the headache.

I say no.

Cologuard? My Experience with Cologuard: Is it Worth the Hype?

So, I gotta tell you about my experience with Cologuard. I got the test when I was 49, just like my doctor told me to. And guess what? It came back positive. I was freaking out, man. I mean, who wants to hear that they might have colon cancer?

So, I went to Harrisburg Endoscopy for a colonoscopy. The doctor who did the procedure told me that everything was fine. Nothing to worry about. But get this - he also said that 90% of the patients he sees who got a positive Cologuard test actually have nothing wrong with them. What the heck, right?

And to make matters worse, my insurance won't cover the colonoscopy because they say the Cologuard test is the free screening. So now I'm stuck with a bill for $870. That's a lot of money, man.

I don't know, maybe I'm just being paranoid, but it seems like this test might be a scam. I mean, if 90% of the people who get a positive result don't actually have anything wrong with them, what's the point? It's like they're just trying to scare people into getting unnecessary procedures.

Anyway, that's my two cents. If you're thinking about getting a Cologuard test, just be aware that it might not be as accurate as they say it is. And make sure you check with your insurance to see if they'll cover any follow-up procedures.

Cologuard? Disappointing Results and Inconvenience of Cologuard Test: A Review

I recently tried out the Cologuard test and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. While it may seem like a convenient option, the results took a whole two weeks to come back. In comparison, a colonoscopy gives you immediate results and the doctor can explain everything to you right then and there.

Even when the results did come back, they weren't as accurate as I had hoped. If the test does come back positive, you don't even get the news from a doctor - it's just the receptionist at your GP's office. And then you have to go through the hassle of scheduling a colonoscopy anyway.

Honestly, I don't think it's worth the money - especially if you're relying on Social Security to cover the costs. Plus, the stress of waiting for the results can be overwhelming. I would recommend just going for a colonoscopy instead - it may not be as convenient, but at least you'll have peace of mind knowing the results are accurate and you can talk to a doctor about them right away.

Cologuard? Why the Cologuard Test is Not Worth Your Time: A Review

This Cologuard test is a bunch of baloney! I mean, come on, how can you trust a test that gives false positives all the time? It's like anything you eat or take can mess with the results. And don't even get me started on the fact that it can't even detect polyps! What's the point of taking this test if it can't even catch the things that could turn into cancer?

I don't know why the FDA would approve something like this. It's like they don't care about our health at all. If you want to be sure that you're not at risk for colon cancer, you need to go to a real doctor. Someone who knows what they're doing and can actually detect polyps before they turn into something worse.

I know, I know, nobody likes getting a colonoscopy. But trust me, it's not that bad. And the prep is way easier than it used to be. Plus, if you catch something early, you could save your own life! Don't be fooled by this Cologuard nonsense. Go see a gastroenterologist and get a real test done. It's worth it, I promise.

Cologuard? Cologuard Review: Confusing Instructions, Inconclusive Results, and a Waste of Money

I recently tried out Cologuard, a test that claims to detect colon cancer from the comfort of your own home. However, I was sorely disappointed with the results. First of all, the instructions were confusing and difficult to follow. When I finally managed to complete the test and send it back, I was bombarded with calls and junk mail from the company. It was like they were trying to guilt me into buying more tests or something.

But the worst part was the results. They were inconclusive, which basically means that the test was a waste of time and money. My doctor still had to send me to another doctor to have a more invasive procedure done. What a waste of my copay and my time!

I can't help but feel like this whole thing was just a money grab. The company charges a whopping $2,800 for the test, which is a lot of money for something that doesn't even work. I would advise anyone considering Cologuard to save their money and skip the test altogether. Just put the box in the garbage can where it belongs.

Cologuard? My Experience with Cologuard: A Positive Result and the Importance of Follow-Up Colonoscopy

I'm a 22,85 year old who recently had an experience with Cologuard. Back in 2019, I did an Immunology test that was similar to Cologuard, and it came back negative. However, in 2021, I noticed blood in my stool for three weeks and decided to self-test for it. My primary care physician recommended that I take the Cologuard test, which I completed. Unfortunately, the results came back positive, and after consulting with three Gastroenterologists, I decided to go ahead with the colonoscopy.

The first colonoscopy failed due to an unsatisfactory cleanout, even though I followed the instructions EXACTLY. It was a frustrating experience, but I didn't give up. Ten months later, I had a second colonoscopy, and thankfully, there was no evidence of Displasia or Cancer. However, I can't help but wonder what risks the two preps did to my colon, considering the risk warnings.

Recently, I read an article (10-2022) that there is a medical debate regarding comparative survival rates between those who have a colonoscopy and those who don't. It's a bit concerning, but I'm glad I went through with the procedure. Overall, I would recommend Cologuard to anyone who is experiencing symptoms or has a family history of colon cancer. It's a simple and non-invasive way to detect any potential issues early on. However, be prepared for the possibility of a colonoscopy if the results come back positive.

About Cologuard?

Cologuard is a non-invasive stool DNA screening test designed to detect the presence of colorectal cancer. This test has been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is considered to be one of the most reliable, user-friendly, and effective methods to detect colorectal cancer.

The Cologuard test is specifically designed to detect altered DNA in the stool, which can indicate the presence of colorectal cancer or advanced adenomas. This test is highly accurate and has been proven to have a sensitivity rate of 92%, which means that it can detect 92% of colorectal cancers and 69% of advanced adenomas.

One of the best things about the Cologuard test is that it is non-invasive and can be completed in the privacy of your own home. You do not need to undergo any uncomfortable procedures such as bowel preparation or sedation. Instead, the test kit comes with everything you need to collect a small sample of your stool, which you then send to a laboratory for analysis.

The results of the Cologuard test are typically available within two weeks. If your test results are positive, it does not necessarily mean that you have colorectal cancer, but rather that further testing is necessary to confirm or rule out the presence of cancer or advanced adenomas. If your results are negative, it does not guarantee that you do not have colorectal cancer, but rather that your risk of developing the disease is lower.

The Cologuard test is a game-changer in the world of colorectal cancer screening. It is user-friendly, highly accurate, and can be completed in the comfort of your own home. If you are between the ages of 45 and 75 and at average risk for colorectal cancer, you should talk to your healthcare provider about whether the Cologuard test is right for you. By taking control of your health and utilizing the latest technology and medical advancements, you can help to protect yourself from this highly preventable and treatable disease.
