We had a new timing chain, gears, and sensors put into our Ford truck 3 months ago. We took it back to the shop about 10 days ago to be told that the cam is wallowed out and the motor is junk. This should not be occurring such a short time after the timing chains were replaced. We have been informed that it will now cost $12,000 to replace my motor and the last repair was $4000. This cost should not be on us, the mechanic should have known this was a problem while he was working on it previously. Thank you for your consideration into our situation.
