Clayton Homes Como Mississippi review: Getting my home built

I've been trying to get my home built. I'm paying cash for the home so I own it outright. Before my husband died he came out toured the home and gave his approval. We gave them the date of Sept 1st we would be closing. We started this process in May of 2023. In Aug of 2023 we would told to bring 1000.00 to hold it. I have heard nothing back from Jay the manager. I have to call him. I rushed the 1000 in cash to hold the home for me. I've had the health dept inspection done I'm waiting on my building permit. As far as disposal of my current home I was told from the site inspection that we could burn and bury my current home on my property. I own 12.22 acres also outright. Jay forgot that. I'm waiting to close and have heard nothing back from them. They still have my thousand dollars. I've done everything on my end. It seems to me that because it's a cash deal and not a financed deal they don't want to do business. Because they don't make any money. My husband passed Sept 5th 2023.
