Classic Holiday review: Cancel the membership

My husband and I have been a member since 2016 in this company. And as many complaints on your page, we've also got conned into signing with a 'fake' of winning a holiday at the Easter Show.
We've never used the service as I found there are better deals out there. Unfortunately, it was too late as we signed up for 10 years. When I start getting account fees, I queried to cancel the membership, however was told we 'signed' the contract and cannot cancel.
I've just come out of a four-week stay in the hospital, but they would not even budge to waver the early bird fees. The person I spoke to had no empathy at all. I was told to get a letter from the hospital-obviously they didn't believe me!
I have been trying to cancel my membership too and any help I can get will be thankful.
