City Garage I went to City Garage on 8/14 'cause my car's AC wasn't blowing cold air and there was a weird shaking in the tire while driving

I went to City Garage on 8/14 'cause my car's AC wasn't blowing cold air and there was a weird shaking in the tire while driving. They had my car for 2 days and then they told me they fixed the AC 'cause there was a small leak, and they said the vibration was 'cause of the rooters and wheel alignment. I paid for the repairs, but the AC still wasn't cold and the tire was still shaking. So I had to take it back two more times. They said they missed some stuff during the first check and more work was needed. They didn't give me any discount or anything for their mistake or the inconvenience.

City Garage On 4/5 we took our work truck in for troubleshootin

On 4/5 we took our work truck in for troubleshootin. We were charged $150.00. The mechanic diagnosed the problem to fix the transmission and misc with the total cost of $6,000.00. We decided to have it checked by another mechanic. The only thing he found wrong was a loose battery cable. He tightened up and it fixed the problem. We would like the $150 back for City Garage #7 (1351 NE Green Oak Blvd, Arlington Tx XXXXX), since their diagnosis was incorrect. We can tried to contact the owner (Shawn) several times and he will not return our calls.

City Garage October 12

October 12. So, I went to City Garage in Grand Prairie for my annual state inspection, right? It cost me $25.50, which is pretty reasonable. Now, here's the thing, it took them like forever to inspect my car. I mean, it usually takes like 5 to 10 minutes, but this time it took over 30 minutes. And get this, they made me get out of my car, which is not what usually happens during an inspection. They had the hood up and everything, which seemed unnecessary.

Anyway, once they finally finished, I tried to drive out of the parking lot, but my car wouldn't go faster than 10 mph. Can you believe that? So, I turned right back around and brought it back to them. They checked it out and said it wasn't their fault because there were no error codes showing up. They even took it for a spin and said it was driving just fine. But guess what? As soon as I got it back, my car wouldn't move at all. It was like they intentionally messed it up so I would have to bring it back for repairs. I swear, there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car before I took it to them. It was running perfectly fine. And now, I have to replace my transmission. I just know they did something to my vehicle.

I'm really disappointed with City Garage. I trusted them to do a simple inspection, and now I'm stuck with a huge repair bill. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Stay away, folks.

City Garage September 14 and 15, 2022

September 14 and 15, 2022. I paid $245.13 for the technician to install a knock sensor I bought from Honda. They also suggested I buy an extension and return on September 15 to have it installed. I didn't ask for a full inspection report, but they told me my radiator is leaking. However, when I got a report from Honda, the radiator wasn't mentioned. If my radiator is leaking, it must have been damaged by the technician. I contacted corporate and emailed Chuck *** but he doesn't want to take responsibility for any potential damages during the service. I'm going to get another inspection to make sure my Honda parts haven't been replaced with aftermarket ones. I want City Garage to pay for this inspection and replace the radiator if it's leaking. If it's not leaking, they should refund the previous charges for all the inconvenience I've faced. Thanks, ***.

City Garage City Garage said my trans was dead

City Garage said my trans was dead. The extended warranty company denied my claim, saying it was pre-existing. The car had no transfluid, so I added some and now it runs, but there's a leak. City Garage and the warranty company both let me down. One lied about the problem, the other lied about the claim being legitimate. I went without a car for a month while they figured out what was wrong, when all it needed was transmission fluid. Now it's leaking, which it didn't do before. They both tried to rob and cheat me. I paid City Garage for a useless diagnostic check where they said the transmission was no good, but it runs perfectly fine now. I want to file a complaint against the warranty company too. These two businesses are crooks, preying on consumers like me who trust their expertise in auto servicing.

City Garage On August 6, I took my 2010 Lexus to City Garage for an oil change

On August 6, I took my 2010 Lexus to City Garage for an oil change. I picked up the car later that day. They did an oil change and a 30-point maintenance inspection. I paid $96.84. On August 9, I went out with my daughter and the car stalled. I took the car back the next day. The car had no oil. City Garage did a thorough inspection and found nothing. They added more oil. They offered me a free oil change for my next visit. On August 16, I went to go eat with my daughter-in-law. On my return back, the car had a terrible noise. I took the car back to City Garage. The car had no oil again. My daughter called City Garage, and they said it needed an engine oil cooler hose and oil for $497.23. I picked up the car, but it still had a noise. They recommended a new engine, as damage may have occurred due to oil starvation. I have been taking my car to this location since 2016 for oil changes and other work that was needed. I trusted the people here, but they have failed me. The engine is out because of their negligence.

City Garage On April 2, I went to Citi Garage in Grand Prairie, TX to get a diagnostic test for my car because the air conditioning wasn't working

On April 2, I went to Citi Garage in Grand Prairie, TX to get a diagnostic test for my car because the air conditioning wasn't working. They gave me a printout of what they believed the issue was, and it cost me $1,031.40. I paid the amount and picked up my car on April 3 at 2:00pm. However, the very next day, on April 4, less than 24 hours later, the A/C stopped working again. I took my car back to them the following day, and they told me that they had figured out the problem. They said that the reason my air wasn't working was because there was a leak in my Evaporator, and fixing it would cost an additional $2000. I had already paid them $1,031.40 for the diagnostic test and to fix what they initially thought was the issue. It felt like they took my money and tried to charge me again for something I had already paid them to fix. As a woman, I felt like I was being taken advantage of. I trusted this business to do what I paid them for, and now I'm out $1,031 and still don't have working air conditioning. Later, when I visited their website, I discovered that they have been dishonest with other customers as well.

City Garage I went to City Garage and met the manager, Chuck K***

I went to City Garage and met the manager, Chuck K. He did a diagnostic on my car and said my battery was fried. I picked up the car without paying more than $600 for battery repairs. When I got the car, Chuck explained that the test may not be accurate. I paid for the diagnostic and had the car towed home, just like how I brought it there.

Later, I found a place in Fort Worth where they sell parts from wrecked cars at a cheaper price than retail. These parts are reliable and only the staff has access to them. I bought a new battery and replaced the negative battery terminal with the part I got from there. My car started running again, so I returned to the store. I asked Chuck to test it again and use my warranty to fix any electrical issues.

Even though Chuck initially said the test was inconclusive due to the battery problem, he refused to recheck it. He told me to buy a $300 factory part and come back. I don't understand why he couldn't determine if the problem was electrical or at least test the fuses. He denied my request.

City Garage On 11/30/22, my car was dropped off by a tow truck for a diagnostic at City Garage

On 11/30/22, my car was dropped off by a tow truck for a diagnostic at City Garage. On 12/1/2022, Justin called in the morning and said that the diagnostic was done. He explained that the reason my car wasn't running properly was because the High Pressure Fuel pump was faulty. He also mentioned that the spark plugs, downstream 02 sensor, fuel cleaning system, engine air filter, and oil needed to be changed, which would cost a total of $2,841. We agreed to the repairs and the cost around 10am that day. Justin assured us that he had all the necessary parts and that the work would be completed by the end of the day.

Later that evening, around 4:30pm, Justin called again. He informed us that the o2 sensor needed an additional part that would cost $500. He said he would try to find a threader to avoid the fee or send it to a muffler shop. He explained that once the threads were fixed, he could install the o2 sensor and that would be the end of the necessary repairs.

On 12/2/2022, Justin called once more and said that he had found the threader and that the car was ready for pickup. I told him I would be there in 90 minutes to retrieve the car. However, 2 hours later, Justin called back and said that during the test drive, the car was hesitant. He put it on the rack and discovered that the catalytic converter was red and needed to be replaced. He quoted a price of $2,500 for the new catalytic converter. He then called back and said he wouldn't change it out and suggested going to KIA to get the computer reset, as it would calibrate the new catalytic converter. After 45 minutes, he called again and said that the motor was bad and needed to be replaced.

We expressed our confusion, as we couldn't understand how we went from needing a fuel pump to requiring a new motor. We questioned whether the car had been test-driven at all, as all these additional charges came up after Justin had initially said the car was ready. If the motor was truly bad, it should have been discovered during the test drive. We believe that the car was misdiagnosed, unnecessary repairs were made, and additional major repairs were suggested after we had already approved the original final price of $2,841. Since the inaccurate diagnosis hasn't resolved the car's actual issues, we don't feel responsible for the completed repairs. We feel deceived and would like this matter to be resolved.

City Garage On 7/19/22, I took my car to City Garage for a used car check after buying it

On 7/19/22, I took my car to City Garage for a used car check after buying it. When I picked it up, I noticed 5 new scratches on the back bumper, so I told the service advisor, Jermaine A. He said he would check the security footage, send it to the main office for review, and let me know. On 7/21/22 at 1:49pm, I called to find out what was happening, but nothing had been done yet. On 7/22/22 at 2:31pm, I called again and they said the videos had been sent to the main office and were being reviewed. On 7/25/22 at 9:38am, they called me and said they found no evidence of them scratching my car. I asked them to send me the video proof by email (I gave them my email), and they said they would send it right away. On 7/26/22 at 2:53pm, I called back because I hadn't received their email. I then sent an email to Chuck H. (VP of City Garage), who I had been talking to, and he told me to email him so he could email me back quickly. Between 7/26-7/31/22, I didn't hear anything from City Garage. On 8/2/22 at 2:45pm, I called again to ask for the video evidence that they didn't scratch my car. On 8/2/22, I got a call at 3:10pm from City Garage saying they would refund me for the Used Vehicle Inspection because the technicians didn't do a good enough job. Shortly after, at 4:24pm, I got the videos from Keith S. (IT Director). The videos show the car on 7/19/22 from 11:23am-11:45am when they "checked the car", but there was no evidence that the checklist had been filled out. I asked for the videos from 11:45am-1:30pm when I got the text saying the inspection was done. Keith told me they didn't have any other videos because they had been overwritten with newer ones. They should have saved all the videos if they sent them on 7/22/22. I need repairs.

City Garage I went to City Garage on December 28, for a free vehicle maintenance inspection

I went to City Garage on December 28, for a free vehicle maintenance inspection. It took them over 2 hours to do a job that should have taken 45 minutes. When they finally finished, my vehicle was parked out front, but no one checked me out. I had to ask the service advisor, Brian, about the completion and my keys. He said my vehicle was done, but the paperwork wasn't finished. He offered to email it to me, and I agreed since I had already been waiting for so long. However, I didn't receive the email until a week later.

As I walked out and saw my vehicle, I noticed that the driver's side window was cracked in multiple places. I went back inside and asked Brian what happened. He claimed that they didn't do it and that the window was already like that. He also said that my driver's door wouldn't open, which wasn't true. I told him that the window was not cracked when I brought my vehicle in, and my door was working fine. He laughed and got rude with me.

I ended up calling the police, and they advised me to contact the corporate office to speak with the director of the location. They also provided me with information to help with the civil matter. Before calling the corporate office, I took pictures and videos of the cracked window. Unfortunately, the office was closed, and the director was out of town. I was finally able to speak with the director, Chuck, the following week.

At first, Chuck tried to lie and say that the window was cracked from a previous accident I had. I explained that the window was fine when I arrived at City Garage for the maintenance inspection. I asked him to review the security camera footage to prove it. He agreed to do so and said he would call me back. Later that day, he called and informed me that they would replace my window at no charge. He said they were placing the order and that the replacement window would arrive in a day or two. It actually took a week for the new window to arrive.

I couldn't drive my vehicle until the new window was installed because of its condition. The replacement window arrived on January 8, 2022, at 11:06 a.m. After they replaced it, I parked my vehicle in my garage. However, two weeks later, without driving my vehicle, the replacement window started to crack.

I tried calling City Garage to address my concerns about the installation and the quality of the replacement window, but no one responded to my calls until January 31, 2022. Brian finally answered and allowed me to express my concerns and ask questions. Unfortunately, he couldn't assist me. I called the corporate office and spoke with Chuck again. During our conversation, he became rude and hung up on me. I tried calling back, but there was no response.

They gave me a cheap window and didn't install it properly. All I want is for them to replace my window with a better one and ensure it is installed correctly. There is no reason for the window to crack just two weeks after the replacement.
