Citi Trends review: jeans, shorts, and dress

I purchased four pair of jeans, two dresses and two pair of shorts for my grand daughter. I need to exchange these items to get another size. I did not have a receipt but the tags were left on the merchandise. I was told I could not exchange anything without a receipt. I have never heard of this before. I have always been able to exchange merchandise for another size. I shop at this store very frequently. I was very this appointed with this outcome.
