It is not my desire, nor of any benefit to give bad reviews for any business entity. But it would be an injustice not to report, and self-advocate after having gone through all of the necessary formalities for that business to make corrections.
Since they didn't put forth any effort to accommodate students who have invested in their time, money, and energy for achievement, only to be unsuccessful at the hands of an establishment whose partial purpose is to equip their students with the proper tools to become productive and successful in a particular field, and not just obtain their own financial gain.
The following occurred while attending Chubb Institute, AKA ANTHEM and thereafter renamed once again, which caused me a great financial loss, becoming unemployable in the field of Massage Therapy, and not renewing my NJ license. This list is a summary only.
*I SUSTAINED RETALIATION FOR FILING COMPLAINTS
*MANY OF THE INSTRUCTORS WERE OPERATING WITHOUT THE PROPER CREDENTIALS
*WE WERE FORCED TO VACCINATE AND REQUESTED ONLY AFTER ALREADY HAVING ATTENDED CLASSES AND UNABLE TO WITHDRAW WITHOUT PAYING BACK THE FULL STUDENT LOAN.
*WE WERE DENIED ACCESS AND COPIES OF OUR SCHOOL MEDICAL RECORDS
*THE SCHOOL WAS VERY UNSANITARY ESPECIALLY THE BATHROOMS
*ONCE WE WERE IN THE CLINIC AND AFTER WE GRADUATED, WE WERE IGNORED WHEN IT CAME TO ASSISTANCE FROM THE JOB PLACEMENT OFFICE
*THERE WAS ALWAYS A HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT CAUSING STUDENTS TO NOT BE ABLE TO FULLY ENGAGE IN CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
*LACK OF ACCESS TO SOME INSTRUCTORS BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T ALWAYS IN THE CLASSROOM
*SOME STUDENTS WERE PERFORMING SEXUAL ACTS IN CLASS WHILE PRACTICING MASSAGE TECHNIQUES
*THERE WAS A LOT OF FAVORTISM FOR THE LATINOS, ESPECIALLY THE FEMALE LATINOS CAUSING STRIFE BETWEEN INSTRUCTORS TO STUDENTS AND STUDENTS TO STUDENTS
*MANY OF US WERE UNEMPLOYABLE DUE TO THE SCHOOL'S BAD REPUTATION AND RETALIATION TOWARD CERTAIN AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDENTS AND ANY OTHER ETHNIC GROUP THAT DEFENDED THEM
*MANY CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENTS WERE INCOMPLETE BECAUSE OF THE COMPUTER SYSTEMS CONSTANTLY DOWN
*WE HAD OUTDATED SOFTWARE
*THE BOOKS WEREN'T UPDATED TO PREPARE US FOR THE NJ STATE BOARD EXAM
*I PAID THE YEARLY REQUIRED FEES TO SUSTAIN MY NJ LICENSE AND WASN'T ABLE TO GET EMPLOYED IN THE FIELD OF MASSAGE THERAPY IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY
Desired outcome: I DESIRE A REFUND FROM STUDENT LOANS, A COPY OF MY SCHOOL MEDICAL RECORD OF VACCINATION, OR A LETTER STATING WHEN, WHERE, AND/OR WHO ADMINISTERED IT.
