Choice Hotels review: dirty room and unauthorized overcharge on our card

My wife and I stayed at the Comfort Suites on Murfreesboro Road, in Lebanon Tennessee last night, and we had an overall negative experience during our stay. We went to check in a little after 2:00pm yesterday, December 27, 2019, and when the lady went to check and see if our room was ready, she returned and said it had not been cleaned yet, and that the cleaning ladies told her that they would't give her a time when it would be ready. We decided to go have lunch, shop, and then come back. When we arrived in the suite, we went to use the whirlpool bath, and found that there were several hairs in it, it had not been cleaned. We just decided to clean it out, because we didn't want to wait again for the cleaning service. We were in room 135. All night long the stairway door, right next to our room, slammed very loudly, and we were woken up over and over again. We were also charged $19.96 more than our receipt said ($153.05-our banking statement).
I told the front desk about the issues we had during check out, and they questioned why we didn't come to the front desk about the whirlpool having hair in it, they also didn't even want to look at our bank statement that shows that we were charged extra. The lady told me that their computer showed that we were charged $133.09, and she acted like she couldn't help me with the issue. She replied if it doesn't work itself out, call back up there Tuesday.
We are extremely disappointed in the service we received. Thank you for your time. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
After completing our survey, the manager contacted us via email and offered me 1000 Choice points. This would be equivalent to less than 5% off of our next stay if we stayed in the suite that we had rented at $133.09 a night. This is just adding insult to injury. this is unacceptable. We would like a refund. If a refund is not possible we would like a credit that is equivalent to what we were charged for the stay.
