Checkr

I have been trying to get hired on ubereats. They use checkr to do background checks and checkr has wrongfully suspended my background report. Uber has been giving me the run around telling me they are going to fix the issue and send it to their internal team (as in checkr) and nothing has gotten fixed. I have uploaded all the documents they requested and they have not fixed my account (Uber or checkr). When I try to call checkr it states there is no phone line available and when I email them I am told I have to contact Uber and they can not help me or they tell me they will escalate the issue like Uber has been telling me and just never get back to me. I dont really understand why they cant help me when they are the ones that do background reports. I am wrongfully getting suspended for my SSN. I am being told by Uber that checkr suspended me due to my SSN being invalid but how is that the case when checkr approved me for my background check for grubhub with the same exact information a little while back? I even tried to make a second account with Uber to try to start fresh and checkr suspended the background report once again. I made a second account solely because I got no single help from both Uber and checkr. I just want my background check resolved because Uber is not allowing me to work because of my background check and I dont want this inaccurate report to effect other jobs I apply to in the future as well.I am resubmitting my complaint due to the fact that I accidentally put that their response back to me was satisfactory when in fact it was not. I've looked up your background report and it appears that we are unable to complete your Social Security Number (SSN) Trace based on the information you provided.Please reach out to Uber directly here to resolve this issue. I cannot believe how many mistakes Checkr has made on background check in the last 5 weeks, which has delayed the approval to drive for Uber. Let me say that I lived in *** up until May *** late May, I submitted a new application with Uber after moving to ***; Checkr had to do a new background check (which has two components: a driving record and a criminal background check), and as of today (July 7th), I still am not approved to drive. At first, Checkr used my *** driver's license, and I waited and waited. But a few weeks later, I got my *** license (and new registration), which meant that my LA license was cancelled. I submitted the new CO license before any results came back from Checkr. And then several days later, Checkr responded saying that I wasn't approved because my LA license was invalid. Well, duh! I contacted Checkr to say that I had already submitted my new CO license and that my LA license was, of course, invalid. I waited again only to be told by Checkr that it would take till the 5th or 6th of July to get an updated response. I waited, but I started to get very frustrated and impatient by then. Then Checkr said that a resolution would happen by the 8th; then there was yet another postponement till the !2th. Just yesterday I got a notice from Checkr saying that I didn't exactly pass the criminal background check; rather, Uber could still "consider" me. Apparently, Checkr came up with an alleged alias of a person, who has had several felonies and has lived all kinds of places where I never have. Wrong! Moreover, Checkr did this same background check earlier this year when I applied in *** and was approved and began working for Uber. I have submitted yet another complaint with Checkr and am waiting for a response. We are now about 6 weeks into this process, and there is still no resolution. I would like to earn money so I can eat.
