My husband was admitted to Centennial Hills Hospital on Feb 15, 2023. He was on LIFE SUPPORT for a week in the ICU. I was able to visit at all times and spend the night. Then daughter came down from Minnesota and told nurse that she didnt want me being alone with her Father because I may kill him. The nurse then went ahead and ordered a camera to be installed in my husbands room. When I heard about this, I told them that there was no way I would allow a camera to be installed on the basis of our mentally unstable daughter who is using drugs. I denied it and the nurse said if I dont agree, they will have to ban visitation all together.. So, they banned me from seeing my husband. This is an outright disgrace. What kind of organization treats patients and their spouse like this? So, any crack head could come in and say something and the nurse will believe them..

I am getting ahold of the news channels and I am talking to my lawyer tomorrow.

I never did like Centennial Hospital and my husband did not want to go there either but this was the closet hospital to our house.

Desired outcome: An APOLOGY to myself and visitation for myself at all times. Daughter and son have limited visitation..

This review is from the actual patient of these reviews. While I was on life support for 8 days, Centennial hospital did a GREAT job to keep me Alive and able to recover in a timely manner. The visitors I had while on life support were loud, aggravating and causing arguments with my daughter who came from another State to make sure I would be save and able to recover. By no means is she anything but a caring loving daughter. My Son also arrived from out of town to help me recover. I had plenty help and support but my main support was centennial hospital who kept me alive and able to recover. they realized that there was a definite elderly abuse possible situation and their main and only concern was to keep the patient (me) safe. So No visitation was by far the best choice and I thank therm for that!

It sounds like your issue with Centennial Hills Hospital is in fact an issue within yourself. If Daughter is mentally unstable and drug user, it'd make more sense for you to also request the camera instead of opposing it. The patient's safety is #1 at Centennial Hills and it sounds like they did their job wonderfully to protect their patient from any potential threat. It appears they do NOT listen to just "any crackhead"... Hopefully you can get the help you need, Miss Charlene. Also, what news channel did you contact? I'd love to tune in!
