I paid a $500 deposit for a puppy in May, expecting puppy to be born in June. I was told Mr. Jones bred an old dog in which was only pregnant with one puppy, which was stillborn. Trying to be understanding, I agreed to wait for the next available litter, due end of June. Towards the end of June, Mr. Jones informed me he miscalculated the date and it would actually be mid July. Upon mid July, Mr Jones informed me this litter was a "false pregnancy" and now the next litter would not be available and even though it is not explicitly stated in the contract, my refund was "non refundable". After sending over litigation paperwork from my attorney, I was contacted by someone claiming to be Mr. Jones' "business associate" who advised I'd have to wait until SEPTEMBER to receive my refund, that the refund is in fact refundable, and he'd send over a contract agreeing to this. Needless to say I received absolutely Nothing from Mr Jones or the fake business associate, even after following up.

My contract clearly states that in the case of a false pregnancy or lack of litter , the buyer will be entitled to their pick on the next litter. I went beyond my contract and industry standards and extended mrs. **** an opportunity to receive her $500 deposit back on full after her allocated Puppy was born and offered to her. The timing wasn't to her liking. She wanted the $500 at that very instance and threatened me and my company to get what she demanded. It is not the practice of my business to swindle or scam anyone. We go strictly by our contracts and we are always fair.
