Carle Foundation Hospital review: Carle Convenient Care on College [Family Practice]

Carle Convenient Care is an anti gay establishment. Do not go here for screening, PEP or Prep if you are a gay man or women. The PCP judged me for high risk sex and said she’s uncomfortable and I should go see an infectious disease doctor. All I wanted was PEP and PREP to take better care of myself. I explained I’ve been struggling with depression and instead of seeking understanding was told to go see someone else. This was the final day in my 72 hour treatment window for PEP I now have unaddressed symptoms and can’t be properly screened for STIs. Preventative care is dead in this country. I’m filing a malpractice suit. BEWARE this institution if you’re LGBT. Go elsewhere for your own well-being. She asked me if I felt we were a good match, projecting herself on me. Its sad to see a doctor ?‍⚕️ use her own opinion of others lifestyles to delegate medical decisions. Important notation on this review for anyone curious how I behaved? I didn’t cuss, raise my voice, or judge her. I told her I felt judged because of her discussion with me.
