Carle Foundation Hospital review: Terrible experience

I needed to see a specialist. I had to drive far. My time was wasted. I honestly felt betrayed by the doctor and staff. I was sent there for a devastating issue. They told me they would help me, and then they dropped me as a patient after a few appointments. Their excuse was they have nothing to offer me, but my records state all the things they could do for me. I made it clear I was struggling day to day, and any frustration was not at them, but at my situation. I made it clear the agony I am in is causing major depression. They did not care. The doctor's precious little ego was more important than helping someone who no longer wants to live. I have other providers at Carle who I will end up replacing. The bad experience at the one department has just tarnished the immense respect I had for Carle and left me devastated. The patient representatives are not there for the patients benefit either as they ignored me.
