I go to this Buffalo Wild Wings franchise in Ft. Gratiot, MI about once a month or 2 for the last 3 years. I had good experiences. Last night was terrible though. I arrived at 7:15 pm and checked in with the hostess who said "it'll be about a 15 minute wait", so I was okay with that and sat nearby. I was aware they were busy. After about 15 minutes I noted 2 parties of 2 and 3 people came in after me and they checked in with the hostess and told of the wait. After 5 minutes or a bit more, both parties were blatantly seated before me while I sat there in disbelief. Other parties were also seated but appeared to have made reservations. After 20-25 minutes the hostess offered me a high stools and table 'in the bar', which I declined because they're not as stable. I spied a small 2-seat table open in a corner and asked for that one but was given some vague reason why I couldn't have it. I was then told 'it'll just be a few more minutes" from an unreliable source. 10 minutes later (a few more minutes) and the hostess had largely disappeared while I sat waiting. I was there at least 35 minutes (heading toward 40) for a '15 minute wait', and figured I was being ignored or 'frozen out' of the seating. Possibly age or solo diner discrimination? Is the hostess just rude or inept or is she following some insulting Buffalo Wild Wings official seating procedure? I got angry enough by that time and walked out. Never been treated like a nobody in any restaurant before when I was there to spend my money there.
