This story is about Bruce Boyd gose by TOSPHASER on most of the prop boards / fourms DEWBACK is his hang out. at this time. he tried to scam me out of $350.00 for parts to build a Capt Kirk's Command Chair from STAR TREK TOS and a base that now I can not use that cost me $325.00 because he broke a contract and his word. I want to share my failed experience with dkl65 to ensure other Star Trek Fans and Star Trek Collectors won't make the same mistake with this individual.
All this took place between Oct 02, 2010 and somewhat ended in April 29, 2011 for now. This seller-and I entered a verbal agreement to build a Command Chair in kit form; shipped in 3 sections (wood only) in unfinished condition. Our verbal agreement became a written agreement when Bruce Boyd -threw eBay and I began communicating regarding the command chair via email. Once the first section was paid for and shipped it was an contract...Bruce Boyd-TOSPHASER-dkl65-slave_n_collar would contact me for next section and payment and so on. We both agreed that it would help me to get it easily shipped and assembled locally where I live. Due to my illness... I was not able to assemble the Command Chair myself. I was going to get others to help me in this task.
I felt good to get half my money back for the parts I never got from him. ( Bruce Boyd -slave_n_collar)
How did I do it?
Because my Attorney and I filed criminal charges on this seller April 21, 2011. Theft of Service $500-$1500 per the letter of the law. This is not a game stated my Attorney to Bruce Boyd and you have violated a contract with my client. I can and will proceed in filing a claim of Breach of Contract and Decceptive Trade Practice also report you to eBay if you don't pay by the due date of May 05, 2011. Maybe Bruce Boyd -TOSPHASER thought jail time and a civil suit against him might look bad for business. By April 29, 2011 dkl65 paid the $350 dallors just a few days before the court proceedings . He did not give it back the $325.00 that he still owes me.
Guess what Bruce Boyd -TOSPHASER - dkl65 - slave_n_collar? You still owe me for that base you sold me that I can not use because you broke the contract - Just REFUND $325.00 you owe me ... I will go away BUT if you want to play me like I'm some nut job .. So be it.
I wanted everyone to know what this ebay seller did and if you want to waste your time and your money with Bruce Boyd - TOSPHASER -slave_n_collar ...Go for it !
This is also another excellent reason why you should not buy from TOSPHASER - dkl65 - slave_n_collar. He is a recaster. A recaster may have a lower price in some cases but along with it comes poor quality. Be sure to add dkl65 to your blocked list on eBay.
This seller TOSPHASER - dkl65 / slave_n_collar knows how to play the Shipping Game on eBay- Thats a scam too. It works by the seller giving a LONG delivery date with First Class mail. Think about it - First Class mail SHOULD NOT take 30 days in USA but look at the Delivery: Estimated Between Dates of dkl65 / slave_n_collar. Most are 4 weeks or 28-30 days and you ONLY have 45 days to file with eBay and PayPal from the purchase date to get your money back in full plus shipping.. This seller is counting on you not to file in time with eBay and dkl65 will send you delay messages. PLEASE don't be fooled by this trickery. All you have to do is send 1 (one) message threw eBay to the seller if your not happy with the item(s) ok? File as quickly as possible after you send that message or email. You are not required to wait for an answer ONLY if you tried to contact the seller to work things out. Calling me out as someone else (Red Shirt David) in a prop forum which I am not this person so TOSPHASER could turn the blame off himself and save face is wrong.
Last, Bruce Boyd - TOSPHASER On eBay slave_n_collar stated what went down in the first place was my fault ? Now that takes the cake !
This seller (new id is slave_n_collar ) is just ... I can't say what I really want to say about dkl65 but I think most of you get the picture. Again, slave_n_collar on eBay is out there waiting for his next prey, I hope it wont be you.

Is Bruce Boyd a true fan of Star Trek ? I think not at all.
Why? Because a true fan would never do this to another Star Trek Friend or Fan!
1) I have nothing against anyone making money but Scamming someone with medical issues is wrong.
