After years us loving Britbox, and not having many outages, they have really screwed over long time customers. Suddenly I can no longer watch new shows except one per week unless I pay them more money. Other shows I am restricted from because those who pay for the new premium service are the only ones allowed to watch it. Us long time regular customers have been restricted.
If we want to have access like we normally had, we must pay to join the premium service. It feels like blackmail to me. I might expect the American streaming services to do nasty things like this, but I thought Britbox was better than the rest. I am finishing up the shows that I have been and will probably discontinue my subscription. I am deeply dissapointed and so tired of being blackmailed for more money.
Hey they aren’t even giving us premier customers access to full seasons as promised- for most of the new seasons for the most popular shows- like Shetland, Father Brown etc- it is still week by week! What a huge scam and fraud! I contacted them repeatedly Their answers are vague at best or they don’t really even answer the question. Once they get your money that’s it. They’re gone. I was one of BritBox BritBox first customers & loved it, but boy have they taken a huge nose dive into scam & fraud land.
